Yasm± cittena ekato vattuk±mo, atha kho na½ ‘ekato m± vad±’ti paµikkhipitv±piekato vadanto ±pajjati. Avattuk±massa sahas± virajjhitv± ekato vadantassa an±patti,tena vutta½ ‘may± saddhi½ m± vad±ti vutto yadi vadati, an±patt²’ti. Tath±pi ±cariy±na½matimanuvattantena evar³pesu µh±nesu yath±vuttanayeneva paµipajjitabba½. Kasm±? Yasm±mah±-aµµhakath±ya½ natthi, natthibh±vatoyeva ±patti. Atha s±maºerena byattat±ya “may± saddhi½ m± vad±”ti vutto bhikkhu abyattat±yavadati, ±patti eva vattuk±mat±sabbh±vato. Sahas± ce vadati, an±patti tadabh±vato.Sace bhikkhu eva½ “may± saddhi½ m± vad±”ti vatv± tena saddhi½ saya½vadati, ±patti eva. Na hi eta½ sikkh±pada½ kiriy±kiriya½. Yadi eta½ sikkh±pada½kiriy±kiriya½ bhaveyya, yutta½. Tattha an±patt²ti adhipp±yo. Mah±paccariya½ imin±vaadhipp±yena “may± saddhi½ m± vad±”ti vutta½ siy±. Na hi s±maºerassa kiriy±idha pam±ºanti, imasmi½ pana adhipp±ye vutte atiyutta½v±ti attho. Akkharattho byañjanattho.Kiñc±pi “yañca pada½ yañca anupada½ yañca anvakkhara½ yañca anubyañjana½, sabbameta½ padasodhammon±m±”ti vutta½, tath±pi “padena v±ceti, pade pade ±patti p±cittiyassa, akkhar±yav±ceti, akkharakkhar±ya ±patti p±cittiyass±”ti idameva dvaya½ yojita½, ta½ kasm±tice? Padena anupada-anubyañjan±na½ saªgahitatt±.
