Aya½ loko paro lokoti. Aya½ lokoti manussaloko. Paro lokoti manussaloka½ µhapetv± sabbo paro lokoti– aya½ loko paro loko.
Brahmaloko sadevakoti sadevako loko sam±rako sabrahmako sassamaºabr±hmaº² paj± sadevamanuss±ti– brahmaloko sadevako.
Diµµhi½ te n±bhij±n±t²ti tuyha½ diµµhi½ khanti½ ruci½ laddhi½ ajjh±saya½ adhipp±ya½ loko na j±n±ti– “aya½ eva½diµµhiko eva½khantiko eva½ruciko eva½laddhiko eva½ajjh±sayo eva½adhipp±yo”ti na j±n±ti na passati na dakkhati n±dhigacchati na vindati na paµilabhat²ti– diµµhi½ te n±bhij±n±ti.

Atthi pañhena ±gamanti pañhena atthiko ±gatomhi…pe… vahasseta½ bh±ranti, evampi atthi pañhena ±gama½.

Suññato loka½ avekkhass³ti. Lokoti nirayaloko tiracch±naloko pettivisayaloko manussaloko devaloko khandhaloko dh±tuloko ±yatanaloko aya½ loko paro loko brahmaloko sadevako [sadevako loko (ka.)]. Aññataro bhikkhu bhagavanta½ etadavoca– “loko lokoti, bhante, vuccati. Kitt±vat± nu kho, bhante, lokoti vuccat²”ti? “Lujjat²ti kho, bhikkhu, tasm± lokoti vuccati. Kiñca lujjati? Suññato loka½ avekkhass³ti dv²hi k±raºehi suññato loka½ avekkhati– avasiyapavattasallakkhaºavasena [avassiyapavatta … (sy±.)] v± tucchasaªkh±rasamanupassan±vasena v±. Katha½ avasiyapavattasallakkhaºavasena suññato loka½ avekkhati? R³pe vaso na labbhati, vedan±ya vaso na labbhati, saññ±ya vaso na labbhati, saªkh±resu vaso na labbhati, viññ±ºe vaso na labbhati. “Viññ±ºa½ anatt±. Viññ±ºañca hida½, bhikkhave, att± abhavissa, nayida½ viññ±ºa½ ±b±dh±ya sa½vatteyya; labbhetha ca viññ±ºe– ‘eva½ me viññ±ºa½ hotu, eva½ me viññ±ºa½ m± ahos²’ti. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, viññ±ºa½ anatt±, tasm± viññ±ºa½ ±b±dh±ya sa½vattati, na ca labbhati viññ±ºe– ‘eva½ me viññ±ºa½ hotu, eva½ me viññ±ºa½ m± ahos²”’ti.
Vuttañheta½ bhagavat±– “n±ya½, bhikkhave, k±yo tumh±ka½, napi aññesa½ [paresa½ (sy±.) passa sa½. ni. 2.37]. Pur±ºamida½, bhikkhave, kamma½ abhisaªkhata½ abhisañcetayita½ vedaniya½ daµµhabba½. Tatra kho, bhikkhave, sutav± ariyas±vako paµiccasamupp±da½yeva s±dhuka½ yoniso manasi karoti– ‘iti imasmi½ sati ida½ hoti, imassupp±d± ida½ uppajjati; imasmi½ asati ida½ na hoti, imassa nirodh± ida½ nirujjhati, yadida½– avijj±paccay± saªkh±r±, saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±ºa½, viññ±ºapaccay± n±mar³pa½, n±mar³papaccay± sa¼±yatana½, sa¼±yatanapaccay± phasso, phassapaccay± vedan±, vedan±paccay± taºh±, taºh±paccay± up±d±na½, up±d±napaccay± bhavo, bhavapaccay± j±ti, j±tipaccay± jar±maraºa½ sokaparidevadukkhadomanassup±y±s± sambhavanti– evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa samudayo hoti”’.
“Avijj±ya tveva asesavir±ganirodh± saªkh±ranirodho, saªkh±ranirodh± viññ±ºanirodho …pe… j±tinirodh± jar±maraºa½ sokaparidevadukkhadomanassup±y±s± nirujjhanti evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa nirodho hot²”ti. Eva½ avasiyapavattasallakkhaºavasena suññato loka½ avekkhati.
