Dasame pur±bhedasuttaniddese katha½dass²ti imassa suttassa ito paresañca pañcanna½ kalahaviv±dac³¼aby³hamah±by³hatuvaµaka-attadaº¹asutt±na½ samm±paribb±jan²yasuttavaººan±ya½ (su. ni. aµµha. 2.362 ±dayo) vuttanayeneva s±maññato uppatti veditabb±. Visesato pana yatheva tasmi½ mah±samaye r±gacaritadevat±na½ sapp±yavasena dhamma½ desetu½ nimmitabuddhena att±na½ pucch±petv± samm±paribb±jan²yasuttanta- (su. ni. 361 ±dayo) mabh±si, eva½ tasmi½yeva mah±samaye “ki½ nu kho pur± sar²rabhed± kattabban”ti uppannacitt±na½ devat±na½ citta½ ñatv± t±sa½ anuggahattha½ a¹¹hate¼asabhikkhusatapariv±ra½ nimmitabuddha½ ±k±sena ±netv± tena att±na½ pucch±petv± ima½ suttamabh±si.

Buddh± n±ma mahant± ete sattavises±, ya½ sadevakassa lokassa diµµha½ suta½ muta½ viññ±ta½ patta½ pariyesita½ anuvicarita½ manas± na kiñci katthaci n²l±divasena vibhattar³p±rammaºesu vibhattar³p±rammaºa½ v±, bherisadd±divasena vibhattasadd±rammaº±d²su sadd±di-±rammaºa½ v± atthi, ya½ etesa½ ñ±ºamukhe ±p±tha½ n±gacchati. Tato as²timah±s±vake, dve aggas±vake ca samann±haritv± “tepi na sakkont²”ti disv± cintesi– “sace paccekabuddho bhaveyya, sakkuºeyya nu kho”ti. “Sopi na sakkuºeyyo”ti ñatv± “sakkasuy±m±d²su koci sakkuºeyy±”ti samann±hari. Sace hi tesu koci sakkuºeyya, ta½ pucch±petv± attan± vissajjeyya. Na pana tesupi koci sakkoti. Athassa etadahosi– “m±diso buddhoyeva sakkuºeyya, atthi pana katthaci añño buddho”ti anant±su lokadh±t³su anantañ±ºa½ pattharitv± loka½ olokento na añña½ buddha½ addasa. Anacchariyañceta½, id±ni attan± sama½ na passeyya, yo j±tadivasepi brahmaj±lavaººan±ya½ (d². ni. aµµha. 1.7) vuttanayena attan± sama½ apassanto “aggohamasmi lokass±”ti (d². ni. 2.31) appaµivattiya½ s²han±da½ nadi. Ariyadevat± cintayi½su– “ekiss± lokadh±tuy± dve buddh± n±ma natthi, addh± bhagav± attan± sadisa½ añña½ eka½ buddha½ nimmin²”ti. Athassa devasaªghassa passantasseva nimmitabuddho ±gantv± dasabala½ avanditv±va sammukhaµµh±ne samasama½ katv± m±pite ±sane nis²di. Bhagavato b±tti½samah±purisalakkhaº±ni, nimmitass±pi, bhagavato sar²r± chabbaººarasmiyo nikkhamanti, nimmitass±pi, bhagavato sar²rarasmiyo nimmitasar²re paµihaññanti, nimmitassa rasmiyo bhagavato k±ye paµihaññanti. T± dvinnampi buddh±na½ sar²rato uggamma bhavagga½ ±hacca tato tato paµinivattitv± devat±na½ matthakamatthakapariyantena otaritv± cakkav±¼amukhavaµµiya½ patiµµhahi½su. Sakalacakkav±¼agabbha½ suvaººamayavaªkagop±nasivinaddhamiva cetiyaghara½ virocittha. Dasasahassacakkav±¼adevat± ekacakkav±¼e r±sibh³t± dvinna½ buddh±na½ rasmi-abbhantara½ pavisitv± aµµha½su. Nimmito nis²dantoyeva “katha½dass² katha½s²lo, upasantoti vuccat²”ti-±din± nayena adhipaññ±dika½ pucchanto g±tham±ha.
Tattha pucch±ya t±va so nimmito katha½dass²ti adhipañña½, katha½s²loti adhis²la½, upasantoti adhicitta½ pucchati. Sesa½ p±kaµameva.
Nimmitabuddh±divibh±vanattha½ peµake–
“Upeti dhamma½ paripuccham±no, kusala½ atthupasañhita½;
na j²vati na nibbuto na mato, ta½ puggala½ katama½ vadanti buddh±. (Pari. 479).
