Aha½ dhamma½ desento dasakath±vatth³ni amuñcitv±va desemi, mayi ca gacchante sabbepime bhikkh³ ma½ pariv±retv± gacchissanti, eva½ me gaºena saddhi½ gantv± ayutta½ dasabala½ passitu½, ime t±va dasabala½ passitu½ gacchant³”ti. Atha te evam±ha– “±vuso, tumhe purato gantv± dasabala½ passatha, mama vacanena tath±gatassa p±de vandatha, ahampi tumh±ka½ gatamaggena ±gacchiss±m²”ti. Thero dhamma½ sutv± dasabala½ vanditv± paµisall±natth±ya andhavana½ gantv± aññatarasmi½ rukkham³le div±vih±ra½ nis²di. S±riputtattheropi tass±gamana½ sutv± s²s±nulokiko gantv± ok±sa½ sallakkhetv± tasmi½ rukkham³le nisinnaka½ upasaªkamitv± therena saddhi½ sammoditv± ta½ visuddhikkama½ (ma. ni. 1.257) pucchi. Sopissa pucchitapucchita½ by±karonto rathavin²t³pam±ya ativiya citta½ ±r±dhesi. Te aññamaññassa subh±sita½ samanumodi½su.
434. Atha na½ satth± aparabh±ge bhikkhusaªghassa majjhe nisinno thera½ “etadagga½, bhikkhave mama s±vak±na½ bhikkh³na½ dhammakathik±na½ yadida½ puººo”ti (a. ni. 1.188, 196) etadagge µhapesi. So pubbakamma½ saritv± somanassavasena pubbacarit±pad±na½ vibh±vento ajjh±yakoti-±dim±ha. Tattha ajjh±yakoti anekabr±hmaº±na½ v±cet± sikkh±pet±. Mantadharoti mant±na½ dh±ret±ti attho, vedasaªkh±tassa catutthavedassa sajjh±yanasavanad±n±na½ vasena dh±ret±ti vutta½ hoti.
