Bodhisatto ta½ mallayodha½ uju½ say±petv± khandhaµµhi½ ujuka½ katv± “gaccha ito paµµh±ya evar³pa½ m± karos²”ti vatv± uyyojesi. So tena kammavip±kena nibbattanibbattabhave sar²ras²s±di dukkhamanubhavitv± imasmi½ pacchimattabh±ve buddhabh³topi piµµhiruj±didukkhamanubhosi. Tasm± kad±ci piµµhidukkhe uppanne s±riputtamoggall±ne “ito paµµh±ya dhamma½ deseth±”ti vatv± saya½ sugatac²vara½ paññ±petv± sayati, kammapilotika½ n±ma buddhamapi na muñcati. Vuttañheta½–
“Nibbuddhe vattam±namhi, mallaputta½ niheµhayi½;
tena kammavip±kena, piµµhidukkha½ ah³ mam±”ti. (Apa. thera 1.39.90).
Dv±dasamapañhe atis±roti lohitapakkhandik±virecana½. At²te kira bodhisatto gahapatikule nibbatto vejjakammena j²vika½ kappesi. So eka½ seµµhiputta½ rogena vicchita½ tikicchanto bhesajja½ katv± tikicchitv± tassa deyyadhammad±ne pam±dam±gamma apara½ osadha½ datv± vamanavirecana½ ak±si. Seµµhi bahudhana½ ad±si. So tena kammavip±kena nibbattanibbattabhave lohitapakkhandik±b±dhena vicchito ahosi. Imasmimpi pacchimattabh±ve parinibb±nasamaye cundena kamm±raputtena pacitas³karamaddavassa sakalacakkav±¼adevat±hi pakkhittadibbojena ±h±rena saha bhuttakkhaºe lohitapakkhandik±virecana½ ahosi. Koµisatasahass±na½ hatth²na½ bala½ khayamagam±si. Bhagav± vis±khapuººam±ya½ kusin±r±ya½ parinibb±natth±ya gacchanto anekesu µh±nesu nis²danto pip±sito p±n²ya½ pivitv± mah±dukkhena kusin±ra½ patv± pacc³sasamaye parinibb±yi. Kammapilotika½ evar³pa½ lokattayas±mimpi na vijahati. Tena vutta½–
“Tikicchako aha½ ±si½, seµµhiputta½ virecayi½;
tena kammavip±kena, hoti pakkhandik± mam±ti.
“Eva½ jino viy±k±si, bhikkhusaªghassa aggato;
sabb±bhiññ±balappatto, anotatte mah±sare”ti. (Apa. thera 1.39.91, 96).
Eva½ paµiññ±tapañh±na½, m±tik±µhapanavasena akusal±pad±na½ samatta½ n±ma hot²ti vutta½ ittha½ sudanti ittha½ imin± pak±rena heµµh± vuttanayena. Sudanti nip±to padap³raºatthe ±gato. Bhagav± bh±gyasampanno p³ritap±ramimah±satto–
“Bh±gyav± bhaggav± yutto, bhagehi ca vibhattav±;
bhattav± vantagamano, bhavesu bhagav± tato”ti.–

Evam±diguºayutto dev±tidevo sakk±tisakko brahm±tibrahm± buddh±tibuddho so mah±k±ruºiko bhagav± attano buddhacariya½ buddhak±raºa½ sambh±vayam±no p±kaµa½ kurum±no buddh±pad±niya½ n±ma buddhak±raºapak±saka½ n±ma dhammapariy±ya½ dhammadesana½ sutta½ abh±sittha kathes²ti.
