154. Eva½ vutte hemavato “aya½ s±t±giro ‘anoman±ma½ satth±ran’ti bhaºanto tassa sabbaññuta½ pak±seti, sabbaññuno ca dullabh± loke, sabbaññupaµiññehi p³raº±disadiseheva loko upadduto. So pana yadi sabbaññ³, addh± t±dilakkhaºappatto bhavissati, tena ta½ eva½ pariggaºhiss±m²”ti cintetv± t±dilakkhaºa½ pucchanto ±ha– “kacci mano”ti.

Tattha supaºihitoti suµµhu µhapito, pathav²samo avirujjhanaµµhena, sinerusamo suppatiµµhit±calanaµµhena, indakh²lasamo catubbidham±raparav±digaºehi akampiyaµµhena. Anacchariyañceta½, bhagavato id±ni sabb±k±rasampannatt± sabbaññubh±ve µhitassa mano supaºihito acalo bhaveyya. Yassa tiracch±nabh³tass±pi sar±g±dik±le chaddantan±gakule uppannassa savisena sallena viddhassa acalo ahosi, vadhakepi tasmi½ nappadussi, aññadatthu tasseva attano dante chetv± ad±si; tath± mah±kapibh³tassa mahatiy± sil±ya s²se pahaµass±pi tasseva ca magga½ dassesi; tath± vidhurapaº¹itabh³tassa p±desu gahetv± saµµhiyojane k±¼apabbatapap±te pakkhittass±pi aññadatthu tasseva yakkhassatth±ya dhamma½ desesi. So te satth± sabbabh³tesu t±d², ud±hu no”ti imasmimpi vikappe sabbabh³tesu samacittat±ya t±d² amh±ka½ satth±ti attho. Ayañhi bhagav± sukh³pasa½h±rak±mat±ya dukkh±panayanak±mat±ya ca sabbasattesu samacitto, y±diso attani, t±diso paresu, y±diso m±tari mah±m±y±ya, t±diso ciñcam±ºavik±ya, y±diso pitari suddhodane, t±diso suppabuddhe, y±diso putte r±hule, t±diso vadhakesu devadattadhanap±laka-aªgulim±l±d²su. Sadevake lokepi t±d². Tasm± sammadev±ha s±t±giro– “sabbabh³tesu t±dino”ti.

Ettha pana eva½ attho daµµhabbo– ya½ kiñci iµµha½ v± aniµµha½ v± ±rammaºa½, sabbappak±rehi tattha ye r±gadosavasena saªkapp± uppajjeyyu½, ty±ssa anuttarena maggena r±g±d²na½ pah²natt± vas²kat±, na kad±ci tesa½ vase vattati. So hi bhagav± an±vilasaªkappo suvimuttacitto suvimuttapaññoti. Ettha ca supaºihitamanat±ya ayonisomanasik±r±bh±vo vutto. Sabbabh³tesu iµµh±niµµhehi so yattha bhaveyya, ta½ sattasaªkh±rabhedato duvidham±rammaºa½ vutta½. Saªkappavas²bh±vena tasmi½ ±rammaºe tassa manasik±r±bh±vato kilesappah±na½ vutta½. Supaºihitamanat±ya ca manosam±c±rasuddhi, sabbabh³tesu t±dit±ya k±yasam±c±rasuddhi, saªkappavas²bh±vena vitakkam³lakatt± v±c±ya vac²sam±c±rasuddhi. Tath± supaºihitamanat±ya lobh±disabbados±bh±vo sabbabh³tesu t±dit±ya mett±diguºasabbh±vo, saªkappavas²bh±vena paµik³le appaµik³lasaññit±dibhed± ariyiddhi, t±ya cassa sabbaññubh±vo vutto hot²ti veditabbo.

Eva½ hemavato pubbe manodv±ravaseneva t±dibh±va½ pucchitv± tañca paµij±nantamima½ sutv± da¼h²kammattha½ id±ni dv±rattayavasen±pi, pubbe v± saªkhepena k±yavac²manodv±rasuddhi½ pucchitv± tañca paµij±nantamima½ sutv± da¼h²kammatthameva vitth±ren±pi pucchanto ±ha “kacci adinnan”ti. Tattha g±th±bandhasukhatth±ya paµhama½ adinn±d±navirati½ pucchati. ¾r± pam±damh±ti pañcasu k±maguºesu cittavossaggato d³r²bh±vena abrahmacariyavirati½ pucchati. “¾r± pamadamh±”tipi paµhanti, ±r± m±tug±m±ti vutta½ hoti. Jh±na½ na riñcat²ti imin± pana tass±yeva tividh±ya k±yaduccaritaviratiy± balavabh±va½ pucchati. Jh±nayuttassa hi virati balavat² hot²ti.

Atha s±t±giro yasm± bhagav± na kevala½ etarahi, at²tepi addh±ne d²gharatta½ adinn±d±n±d²hi paµivirato, tass± tass±yeva ca viratiy± ±nubh±vena ta½ ta½ mah±purisalakkhaºa½ paµilabhi, sadevako cassa loko “adinn±d±n± paµivirato samaºo gotamo”ti-±din± nayena vaººa½ bh±sati. Tasm± vissaµµh±ya v±c±ya s²han±da½ nadanto ±ha “na so adinna½ ±diyat²”ti. Ta½ atthato p±kaµameva. Imiss±pi g±th±ya tatiyap±de “pam±damh± pamadamh±”ti dvidh± p±µho. 158. Eva½ k±yadv±re suddhi½ sutv± id±ni vac²dv±re suddhi½ pucchanto ±ha– “kacci mus± na bhaºat²”ti. Ettha kh²º±t²ti kh²ºo, vihi½sati badhat²ti attho. V±c±ya patho byappatho, kh²ºo byappatho ass±ti kh²ºabyappatho. Ta½ na-k±rena paµisedhetv± pucchati “na kh²ºabyappatho”ti, na pharusav±coti vutta½ hoti. “N±kh²ºabyappatho”tipi p±µho, na akh²ºavacanoti attho. Pharusavacanañhi paresa½ hadaye akh²yam±na½ tiµµhati. T±disavacano kacci na soti vutta½ hoti. Vibh³t²ti vin±so, vibh³ti½ k±sati karoti v±ti vibh³tika½, vibh³tikameva vebh³tika½, vebh³tiyantipi vuccati, pesuññasseta½ adhivacana½. Tañhi satt±na½ aññamaññato bhedanena vin±sa½ karoti. Sesa½ utt±natthameva.

Tasm± vissaµµh±ya v±c±ya s²han±da½ nadanto ±ha, “mus± ca so na bhaºat²”ti. Tattha mus±ti vinidh±ya diµµh±d²ni paravisa½v±danavacana½. Ta½ so na bhaºati. Dutiyap±de pana paµhamatthavasena na kh²ºabyappathoti, dutiyatthavasena n±kh²ºabyappathoti p±µho. Catutthap±de mant±ti paññ± vuccati. Bhagav± yasm± t±ya mant±ya paricchinditv± atthameva bh±sati atthato anapetavacana½, na sampha½ Aññ±ºapurekkh±rañhi niratthakavacana½ buddh±na½ natthi. Tasm± ±ha– “mant± attha½ so bh±sat²”ti. Sesamettha p±kaµameva.
160. Eva½ vac²dv±rasuddhimpi sutv± id±ni manodv±rasuddhi½ pucchanto ±ha “kacci na rajjati k±mes³”ti. Tattha k±m±ti vatthuk±m±. Tesu kilesak±mena na rajjat²ti pucchanto anabhijjh±luta½ pucchati. An±vilanti pucchanto by±p±dena ±vilabh±va½ sandh±ya aby±p±data½ pucchati. Moha½ atikkantoti pucchanto yena mohena m³¼ho micch±diµµhi½ gaºh±ti, tass±tikkamena samm±diµµhita½ pucchati. Dhammesu cakkhum±ti pucchanto sabbadhammesu appaµihatassa ñ±ºacakkhuno, pañcacakkhuvisayesu v± dhammesu pañcannampi cakkh³na½ vasena sabbaññuta½ pucchati “dv±rattayap±risuddhiy±pi sabbaññ³ na hot²”ti cintetv±.

Eva½ hemavato bhagavato dv±rattayap±risuddhi½ sabbaññutañca sutv± haµµho udaggo at²taj±tiya½ b±husaccavisad±ya paññ±ya asajjam±navacanappatho hutv± acchariyabbhutar³pe sabbaññuguºe sotuk±mo ±ha “kacci vijj±ya sampanno”ti. Tattha vijj±ya sampannoti imin± dassanasampatti½ pucchati, sa½suddhac±raºoti imin± gamanasampatti½. Chandavasena cettha d²gha½ katv± c±k±ram±ha, sa½suddhacaraºoti attho. ¾sav± kh²º±ti imin± et±ya dassanagamanasampattiy± pattabb±ya ±savakkhayasaññit±ya paµhamanibb±nadh±tuy± patti½ pucchati, natthi punabbhavoti imin± dutiyanibb±nadh±tupattisamatthata½, paccavekkhaºañ±ºena v± paramass±sappatti½ ñatv± µhitabh±va½.
