Kilesapaµip±µiy± hi k±macchandan˛varaşassa by±p±dan˛varaşassa ca tatiyamaggena pah±na˝ hoti, thinamiddhan˛varaşassa uddhaccan˛varaşassa ca catutthamaggena. “Akata˝ vata me kusalan”ti-±din± (ma. ni. 3.248; netti. 120) nayena pavattassa vippaµis±rasaŞkh±tassa kukkuccan˛varaşassa vicikicch±n˛varaşassa ca paµhamamaggena. Maggapaµip±µiy± pana kukkuccan˛varaşassa vicikicch±n˛varaşassa ca paµhamamaggena pah±na˝ hoti, k±macchandan˛varaşassa by±p±dan˛varaşassa ca dutiyamaggena tanubh±vo hoti, tatiyena anavasesappah±na˝. Thinamiddhan˛varaşassa uddhaccan˛varaşassa ca catutthamaggena pah±na˝ hot˛ti. Eva˝–

Arahattanikłµeneva bhagav± desana˝ niµµh±pesi. Desan±pariyos±ne so bhikkhu arahatte patiµµhito. “Ekacce yena yena tesa˝ bhikkhłna˝ y± y± g±th± desit±, tena tena tass± tass± g±th±ya pariyos±ne so so bhikkhu arahatte patiµµhito”ti vadanti.
