3. Kok±likavatthu
Yo mukhasa½yatoti ima½ dhammadesana½ satth± jetavane viharanto kok±lika½ ±rabbha kathesi. Vatthu “atha kho kok±liko bhikkhu yena bhagav± tenupasaªkam²”ti sutte (sa½. ni. 1.181; su. ni. kok±likasutta; a. ni. 10.89) ±gatameva. Atthopissa aµµhakath±ya vuttanayeneva veditabbo. Kok±like pana padumaniraye uppanne dhammasabh±ya½ katha½ samuµµh±pesu½ “aho kok±liko bhikkhu attano mukha½ niss±ya vin±sa½ patto, dve aggas±vake akkosantasseva hissa pathav² vivara½ ad±s²”ti. Satth± ±gantv± “k±ya nuttha, bhikkhave, etarahi kath±ya sannisinn±”ti pucchitv± “im±ya n±m±”ti vutte “na, bhikkhave, id±neva, pubbepi kok±liko bhikkhu attano mukhameva niss±ya naµµho”ti vatv± tamattha½ sotuk±mehi bhikkh³hi y±cito tassa pak±sanattha½ at²ta½ ±hari. At²te himavantapadese ekasmi½ sare kacchapo vasati. Dve ha½sapotak± gocar±ya carant± tena saddhi½ viss±sa½ katv± da¼haviss±sik± hutv± ekadivasa½ kacchapa½ pucchi½su– “samma, amh±ka½ himavante cittak³µapabbatatale kañcanaguh±ya vasanaµµh±na½, ramaºiyo padeso, gacchissasi amhehi saddhin”ti. “Samma, aha½ katha½ gamiss±m²”ti? “Maya½ ta½ ness±ma, sace mukha½ rakkhitu½ sakkhissas²”ti. “Rakkhiss±mi, samm± gahetv± ma½ gacchath±”ti. Te “s±dh³”ti vatv± eka½ daº¹aka½ kacchapena ¹a½s±petv± saya½ tassa ubho koµiyo ¹a½sitv± ±k±sa½ pakkhandi½su. Ta½ tath± ha½sehi n²yam±na½ g±mad±rak± disv± “dve ha½s± kacchapa½ daº¹ena harant²”ti ±ha½su. Kacchapo “yadi ma½ sah±yak± nenti, tumh±ka½ ettha ki½ hoti duµµhaceµak±”ti vattuk±mo ha½s±na½ s²ghavegat±ya b±r±ºasinagare r±janivesanassa uparibh±ga½ sampattak±le daµµhaµµh±nato daº¹aka½ vissajjetv± ±k±saªgaºe patitv± dvedh± bhijji. Satth± ima½ at²ta½ ±haritv±–
“Avadh² vata att±na½, kacchapo by±hara½ gira½;
suggah²tasmi½ kaµµhasmi½, v±c±ya sakiy±vadh².
“Etampi disv± narav²riyaseµµha,
v±ca½ pamuñce kusala½ n±tivela½;
passasi bahubh±ºena, kacchapa½ byasana½ gatan”ti. (J±. 1.2.129-130).
Ima½ dukanip±te bahubh±ºij±taka½ vitth±retv±, “bhikkhave, bhikkhun± n±ma mukhasa½yatena samac±rin± anuddhatena nibbutacittena bhavitabban”ti vatv± ima½ g±tham±ha–
363. “Yo mukhasa½yato bhikkhu, mantabh±º² anuddhato;
attha½ dhammañca d²peti, madhura½ tassa bh±sitan”ti.
Tattha mukhasa½yatoti d±sacaº¹±l±dayopi “tva½ dujj±to, tva½ duss²lo”ti-±d²na½ avacanat±ya mukhena sa½yato. Mantabh±º²ti mant± vuccati paññ±, t±ya bhaºanas²lo. Anuddhatoti nibbutacitto. Attha½ dhammañca d²pet²ti bh±sitatthañceva desan±dhammañca katheti. Madhuranti evar³passa bhikkhuno bh±sita½ madhura½ n±ma. Yo pana atthameva samp±deti, na p±¼i½, p±¼i½yeva samp±deti, na attha½, ubhaya½ v± pana na samp±deti, tassa bh±sita½ madhura½ n±ma na hot²ti. Desan±vas±ne bah³ sot±pattiphal±d²ni p±puºi½s³ti.
