8. ¾yuva¹¹hanakum±ravatthu
Abhiv±danas²liss±ti ima½ dhammadesana½ satth± d²ghalaªghika½ niss±ya araññakuµiya½ viharanto d²gh±yukum±ra½ ±rabbha kathesi. D²ghalaªghikanagarav±sino kira dve br±hmaº± b±hirakapabbajja½ pabbajitv± aµµhacatt±l²sa vass±ni tapacaraºa½ kari½su. Tesu eko “paveºi me nassissati, vibbhamiss±m²”ti cintetv± attan± kata½ tapa½ paresa½ vikkiºitv± gosatena ceva kah±paºasatena ca saddhi½ bhariya½ labhitv± kuµumba½ saºµhapesi. Athassa bhariy± putta½ vij±yi. Itaro panassa sah±yako pav±sa½ gantv± punadeva ta½ nagara½ pacc±gami. So tassa ±gatabh±va½ sutv± puttad±ra½ ±d±ya sah±yakassa dassanatth±ya agam±si. Gantv± putta½ m±tu hatthe datv± saya½ t±va vandi, m±t±pi putta½ pitu hatthe datv± vandi. So “d²gh±yuk± hoth±”ti ±ha, putte pana vand±pite tuºh² ahosi. Atha na½ “kasm±, bhante, amhehi vandite ‘d²gh±yuk± hoth±’ti vatv± imassa vandanak±le kiñci na vadeth±”ti ±ha. “Imasseko antar±yo atthi, br±hmaº±”ti. “Kittaka½ j²vissati, bhante”ti? “Satt±ha½, br±hmaº±”ti. “Paµib±hanak±raºa½ atthi, bhante”ti? “N±ha½ paµib±hanak±raºa½ j±n±m²”ti. “Ko pana j±neyya, bhante”ti? “Samaºo gotamo j±neyya, tassa santika½ gantv± pucch±h²”ti. “Tattha gacchanto tapaparih±nito bh±y±m²”ti. “Sace te puttasineho atthi, tapaparih±ni½ acintetv± tassa santika½ gantv± pucch±h²”ti. So satthu santika½ gantv± saya½ t±va vandi. Satth± “d²gh±yuko hoh²”ti ±ha, paj±patiy± vandanak±lepi tass± tatheva vatv± puttassa vand±panak±le tuºh² ahosi. So purimanayeneva satth±ra½ pucchi, satth±pi tatheva by±k±si. So kira br±hmaºo sabbaññutaññ±ºa½ apaµivijjhitv±va attano manta½ sabbaññutaññ±ºena sa½sandesi, paµib±han³p±ya½ pana na j±n±ti. Br±hmaºo satth±ra½ pucchi– “atthi pana, bhante, paµib±han³p±yo”ti? “Bhaveyya, br±hmaº±”ti. “Ki½ bhaveyy±”ti? “Sace tva½ attano gehadv±re maº¹apa½ k±retv± tassa majjhe p²µhika½ k±retv± ta½ parikkhipanto aµµha v± so¼asa v± ±san±ni paññ±petv± tesu mama s±vake nis²d±petv± satt±ha½ nirantara½ paritta½ k±tu½ sakkuºeyy±si, evamassa antar±yo nasseyy±”ti. “Bho gotama, may± maº¹ap±d²ni sakk± k±tu½, tumh±ka½ pana s±vake katha½ lacch±m²”ti? “Tay± ettake kate aha½ mama s±vake pahiºiss±m²”ti. “S±dhu, bho gotam±”ti so attano gehadv±re sabba½ kicca½ niµµh±petv± satthu santika½ agam±si. Satth± bhikkh³ pahiºi, te gantv± tattha nis²di½su, d±rakampi p²µhik±ya½ nipajj±pesu½, bhikkh³ sattarattindiva½ nirantara½ paritta½ bhaºi½su, sattame divase s±ya½ satth± ±gacchi. Tasmi½ ±gate sabbacakkav±¼adevat± sannipati½su. Eko pana avaruddhako n±ma yakkho dv±dasa sa½vacchar±ni vessavaºa½ upaµµhahitv± tassa santik± vara½ labhanto “ito sattame divase ima½ d±raka½ gaºheyy±s²”ti labhi. Tasm± sopi ±gantv± aµµh±si. Satthari pana tattha gate mahesakkh±su devat±su sannipatit±su appesakkh± devat± osakkitv± osakkitv± ok±sa½ alabham±n± dv±dasa yojan±ni paµikkami½su. Avaruddhakopi tatheva paµikkami, satth±pi sabbaratti½ parittamak±si. Satt±he v²tivatte avaruddhako d±raka½ na labhi. Aµµhame pana divase aruºe uggatamatte d±raka½ ±netv± satth±ra½ vand±pesu½. Satth± “d²gh±yuko hoh²”ti ±ha. “K²vacira½ pana, bho gotama, d±rako µhassat²”ti? “V²savassasata½, br±hmaº±”ti. Athassa “±yuva¹¹hanakum±ro”ti n±ma½ kari½su. So vuddhimanv±ya pañcahi up±sakasatehi parivuto vicari. Athekadivasa½ dhammasabh±ya½ bhikkh³ katha½ samuµµh±pesu½ “passath±vuso, ±yuva¹¹hanakum±rena kira sattame divase maritabba½ abhavissa, so id±ni v²savassasataµµh±y² hutv± pañcahi up±sakasatehi parivuto vicarati, atthi maññe imesa½ satt±na½ ±yuva¹¹hanak±raºan”ti. Satth± ±gantv± “k±ya nuttha, bhikkhave, etarahi kath±ya sannisinn±”ti pucchitv± “im±ya n±m±”ti vutte, “bhikkhave, na kevala½ ±yuva¹¹hanameva, ime pana satt± guºavante vandant± abhiv±dent± cat³hi k±raºehi va¹¹hanti, parissayato muccanti, y±vat±yukameva tiµµhant²”ti vatv± anusandhi½ ghaµetv± dhamma½ desento ima½ g±tham±ha– 109. “Abhiv±danas²lissa nicca½ vu¹¹h±pac±yino;
catt±ro dhamm± va¹¹hanti, ±yu vaººo sukha½ balan”ti.
Tattha abhiv±danas²liss±ti vandanas²lissa, abhiºha½ vandanakiccapasutass±ti attho. Vu¹¹h±pac±yinoti gihissa v± tadahupabbajite daharas±maºerepi, pabbajitassa v± pana pabbajj±ya v± upasampad±ya v± vu¹¹hatare guºavu¹¹he apac±yam±nassa, abhiv±danena v± nicca½ p³jentass±ti attho. Catt±ro dhamm± va¹¹hant²ti ±yumhi va¹¹ham±ne yattaka½ k±la½ ta½ va¹¹hati, tattaka½ itarepi va¹¹hantiyeva. Yena hi paññ±savassa-±yusa½vattanika½ kusala½ kata½, pañcav²sativassak±le cassa j²vitantar±yo uppajjeyya, so abhiv±danas²lat±ya paµippassambhati, so y±vat±yukameva tiµµhati, vaºº±dayopissa ±yun±va saddhi½ va¹¹hanti. Ito uttaripi eseva nayo. Anantar±yena pavattass±yuno va¹¹hana½ n±ma natthi. Desan±vas±ne ±yuva¹¹hanakum±ro pañcahi up±sakasatehi saddhi½ sot±pattiphale patiµµhahi, aññepi bah³ sot±pattiphal±d²ni p±puºi½s³ti.
