Ida½, bhikkhave, tatiya½ sam±t±puttika½yeva bhaya½ am±t±puttika½ bhayanti assutav± puthujjano bh±sati. “Im±ni kho, bhikkhave, t²ºi sam±t±puttik±niyeva bhay±ni am±t±puttik±ni bhay±n²ti assutav± puthujjano bh±sati”. “T²ºim±ni, bhikkhave, am±t±puttik±ni bhay±ni. Katam±ni t²ºi? Jar±bhaya½, by±dhibhaya½, maraºabhayanti. Na, bhikkhave, m±t± putta½ j²ram±na½ eva½ labhati– ‘aha½ j²r±mi, m± me putto j²r²’ti; putto v± pana m±tara½ j²ram±na½ na eva½ labhati– ‘aha½ j²r±mi, m± me m±t± j²r²”’ti. “Na, bhikkhave, m±t± putta½ by±dhiyam±na½ eva½ labhati– ‘aha½ by±dhiy±mi, m± me putto by±dhiy²’ti; putto v± pana m±tara½ by±dhiyam±na½ na eva½ labhati– ‘aha½ by±dhiy±mi, m± me m±t± by±dhiy²”’ti. “Na, bhikkhave, m±t± putta½ m²yam±na½ eva½ labhati– ‘aha½ m²y±mi, m± me putto m²y²’ti; putto v± pana m±tara½ m²yam±na½ na eva½ labhati– ‘aha½ m²y±mi, m± me m±t± m²y²’ti.
