826. Eva½ me suta½– eka½ samaya½ bhagav± s±vatthiya½ viharati pubb±r±me mig±ram±tup±s±de. Tena kho pana samayena sambahul± bhikkh³ heµµh±mig±ram±tup±s±de viharanti uddhat± unna¼± capal± mukhar± vikiººav±c± muµµhassatino asampaj±n± asam±hit± bhantacitt± [vibbhantacitt± (s². sy±. ka½.)] p±katindriy±.
Atha kho bhagav± ±yasmanta½ mah±moggall±na½ ±mantesi– “ete kho, moggall±na, sabrahmac±rino heµµh±mig±ram±tup±s±de viharanti uddhat± unna¼± capal± mukhar± vikiººav±c± muµµhassatino asampaj±n± asam±hit± bhantacitt± p±katindriy±. Gaccha, moggall±na, te bhikkh³ sa½vejeh²”ti.
“Eva½, bhante”ti kho ±yasm± mah±moggall±no bhagavato paµissutv± tath±r³pa½ iddh±bhisaªkh±ra½ abhisaªkh±resi [abhisaªkharesi (sy±. p². ka.)] yath± p±daªguµµhakena mig±ram±tup±s±da½ saªkampesi sampakampesi sampac±lesi. Atha kho te bhikkh³ sa½vigg± lomahaµµhaj±t± ekamanta½ aµµha½su– “acchariya½ vata, bho, abbhuta½ vata, bho! Niv±tañca vata ayañca mig±ram±tup±s±do gambh²ranemo sunikh±to acalo asampakamp², atha ca pana saªkampito sampakampito sampac±lito”ti!
Atha kho bhagav± yena te bhikkh³ tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± te bhikkh³ bhagav± etadavoca– “ki½ nu tumhe, bhikkhave, sa½vigg± lomahaµµhaj±t± ekamanta½ µhit±”ti? “Acchariya½, bhante, abbhuta½ bhante! Niv±tañca vata ayañca mig±ram±tup±s±do gambh²ranemo sunikh±to acalo asampakamp², atha ca pana saªkampito sampakampito sampac±lito”ti! “Tumheva kho, bhikkhave, sa½vejetuk±mena moggall±nena bhikkhun± p±daªguµµhakena mig±ram±tup±s±do, saªkampito sampakampito sampac±lito. Ta½ ki½ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamesa½ dhamm±na½ bh±vitatt± bahul²katatt± moggall±no bhikkhu eva½mahiddhiko eva½mah±nubh±vo”ti “Bhagava½m³lak± no, bhante, dhamm±, bhagava½nettik± bhagava½paµisaraº±. S±dhu vata, bhante, bhagavanta½yeva paµibh±tu etassa bh±sitassa attho. Bhagavato sutv± bhikkh³ dh±ressant²”ti.
“Tena hi, bhikkhave, suº±tha. Catunna½ kho, bhikkhave, iddhip±d±na½ bh±vitatt± bahul²katatt± moggall±no bhikkhu eva½mahiddhiko eva½mah±nubh±vo. Katamesa½ catunna½? Idha, bhikkhave, moggall±no bhikkhu chandasam±dhippadh±nasaªkh±rasamann±gata½ iddhip±da½ bh±veti, v²riyasam±dhi…pe… cittasam±dhi…pe… v²ma½s±sam±dhippadh±nasaªkh±rasamann±gata½ iddhip±da½ bh±veti– ‘iti me v²ma½s± na ca atil²n± bhavissati, na ca atippaggahit± bhavissati; na ca ajjhatta½ sa½khitt± bhavissati, na ca bahiddh± vikkhitt± bhavissati’. Pacch±puresaññ² ca viharati– yath± pure tath± pacch±, yath± pacch± tath± pure; yath± adho tath± uddha½ yath± uddha½ tath± adho; yath± div± tath± ratti½, yath± ratti½ tath± div±. Iti vivaµena cetas± apariyonaddhena sappabh±sa½ citta½ bh±veti. Imesa½ kho, bhikkhave, catunna½ iddhip±d±na½ bh±vitatt± bahul²katatt± moggall±no bhikkhu eva½mahiddhiko eva½mah±nubh±vo. Imesañca pana, bhikkhave, catunna½ iddhip±d±na½ bh±vitatt± bahul²katatt± moggall±no bhikkhu anekavihita½ iddhividha½ paccanubhoti…pe… y±va brahmalok±pi k±yena vasa½ vatteti…pe… imesañca pana, bhikkhave, catunna½ iddhip±d±na½ bh±vitatt± bahul²katatt± moggall±no bhikkhu ±sav±na½ khay± an±sava½ cetovimutti½ paññ±vimutti½ diµµheva dhamme saya½ abhiññ± sacchikatv± upasampajja viharat²”ti.
