520. Eva½ me suta½– eka½ samaya½ bhagav± aªgesu viharati ±paºa½ n±ma aªg±na½ nigamo. Tatra kho bhagav± ±yasmanta½ s±riputta½ ±mantesi– “yo so, s±riputta, ariyas±vako tath±gate ekantagato [ekantigato (s².)] abhippasanno, na so tath±gate v± tath±gatas±sane v± kaªkheyya v± vicikiccheyya v±”ti? “Yo so, bhante, ariyas±vako tath±gate ekantagato abhippasanno, na so tath±gate v± tath±gatas±sane v± kaªkheyya v± vicikiccheyya v±. Saddhassa hi, bhante, ariyas±vakassa eva½ p±µikaªkha½ ya½ ±raddhav²riyo viharissati– akusal±na½ dhamm±na½ pah±n±ya, kusal±na½ dhamm±na½ upasampad±ya, th±mav± da¼haparakkamo anikkhittadhuro kusalesu dhammesu. Ya½ hissa, bhante, v²riya½ tadassa v²riyindriya½. “Saddhassa hi bhante, ariyas±vakassa ±raddhav²riyassa eta½ p±µikaªkha½ ya½ satim± bhavissati, paramena satinepakkena samann±gato, cirakatampi cirabh±sitampi sarit± anussarit±. Y± hissa, bhante, sati tadassa satindriya½. “Saddhassa hi, bhante, ariyas±vakassa ±raddhav²riyassa upaµµhitassatino eta½ p±µikaªkha½ ya½ vossagg±rammaºa½ karitv± labhissati sam±dhi½, labhissati cittassa ekaggata½. Avijj±ya tveva tamok±yassa asesavir±ganirodho santameta½ pada½ paº²tameta½ pada½, yadida½– sabbasaªkh±rasamatho sabb³padhipaµinissaggo taºh±kkhayo vir±go nirodho nibb±na½ [nibb±nanti (?)].
