Ahi½sakoti me n±ma½, hi½sakassa pure sato;
ajj±ha½ saccan±momhi, na na½ hi½s±mi kiñcana½.
Hi½sitabba½ ki½sat²ti s²ho. ¾di-antakkharavipall±savasena saddasiddhi, yath± “kantanaµµhena takkan”ti. Vihesako, vihesana½.

Ye ca rudh±digaºasmi½ anekassar± asa½yogantv± ak±rantavasena v± uk±rantavasena v± niddiµµh±, te ±khy±tatta½ patv± suddhakattuvisayeyeva ekantato niggah²t±gamena nipphannar³p± bhavanti, na hetukattuvisaye. N±mikatta½ pana sahaniggah²t±gamena vin± ca niggah²t±gamena nipphannar³p± bhavanti. Yattha vin± niggah²t±gamena nipphannar³p±, tattha sasa½yogar³p±yeva bhavanti. Ta½ yath±? Muñcati, muñc±peti, moceti, moc±peti. Chind±peti. Chedeti, ched±peti. Chindana½, chedo. Muñcana½, mocana½. Kantati, kantana½, sallakatto. Piµµhima½s±ni attano, s±ma½ ukkacca kh±dasi icc±d²ni. Nanu ca bho eva½ sante ±khy±tan±mikabh±va½ patv± suddhakattuhetukattuvisayesu ekantato paµiladdhaniggah²t±gamehi saki khaji ±d²hiyeva rudh±digaºikehi bhavitabba½, na pana mucachidi±d²h²ti? Tanna, mucachidi±d²hiyeva rudh±digaºikehi bhavitabba½ rucadh±tuy± sam±nagatikatt±, tath± hi yath± “rundhissa, rundhayati, rundh±peti, rundhana½, rodho, virodho”ti-±d²su niggah²t±gam±niggah²t±gamavasena dvippak±r±ni r³p±ni dissanti, tath± mucachidi±d²namp²ti.
Nanu kacc±yane niggah²t±gamassa niccavidh±nattha½ “rudh±dito niggah²tapubbañc±”ti lakkhaºa½ vuttanti? Sacca½, ta½ pana kriy±padatta½ sandh±ya vutta½. Yadi ca n±mikapadattampi sandh±ya vutta½ bhaveyya, “virodho”ti-±d²na½ dassanato sadda½ pakkhipitv± vattabba½ siy±, na ca sadda½ pakkhipitv± vutta½, tena ñ±yati kriy±padatta½yeva sandh±ya vuttanti.
Nanu ca bho eva½ sante sakikhaji±d²na½ nicca½ saniggah²t±gamakriy±padatta½yeva sandh±ya “rudh±dito niggah²tapubbañc±”ti ida½ vuttanti sakk± mantunti? Na sakk±, sakikhaji±d²na½ rudhadh±tuy± asam±nagatikatt± n±mikatte dvippak±rassa asambhavato. Tath± hi yesa½ y± n±mikatte niggah²t±gam±niggah²t±gamavasena dvippak±ravantat±, s± eva tesa½ rudh±digaºabh±vassa lakkhaºa½.
