Na, n±thasaddo hi y±canatth±d²su pavattam±no lokasaªketavasena uttamapurisesu nir³¼ho, bhagav± ca uttamesu s±tisaya½ uttamo, tena ta½ ta½ hitapaµipatti½ y±cat²ti n±thasaddassattho vutto. An±thasaddo pana ittarajanesu nir³¼ho, so ca kho “na n±thoti an±tho. Natthi n±tho etass±ti v± an±tho”ti dabbapaµisedhavasena, na pana “na n±thati na y±cat²ti an±tho”ti dh±tu-atthapaµisedhavasena. Yo hi aññassa saraºa½ gati patiµµh± hoti, so n±tho, yo ca aññassa saraºa½ gati patiµµh± na hoti, n±pi attano añño saraºa½ gati patiµµh± hoti, so an±thoti vuccati saªketavasena.
