Aya½ pana amh±ka½ ruci– “kekake”ti ida½ paccattavacanameva “pañc±l±, kuruyo”ti sahaj±tapad±ni viya, raµµhav±cakatt± pana “kuruyo”ti padamiva bahuvacanavasena vutta½. Na hi bhagav± “khattiyo, br±hmaºo, vesso”ti-±d²su viya sam±navibhatt²hi niddisitabbesu sahaj±tapadesu pacchima½ upayogavacanavasena niddiseyya, yutti ca na dissati “pañc±l±”ti, “kuruyo”ti paccattavacana½ vatv± “kekake”ti upayogavacanassa vacane, tasm± “kekake”ti ida½ paccattavacanameva. Ten±ha vuttiya½ “dve pad±ni tuly±dhikaraº±n²”ti. “Dvipade tuly±dhikaraºe”ti ca ida½ “aµµha n±g±v±sasat±n²”ti vattabbe “aµµha n±g±v±sasate”ti padamiva vuccat²ti daµµhabba½.

Keci pana tesa½ bhummekavacanatta½ icchanti. Tattha yadi “vanappagumbe”ti paccatte bhummavacana½, “kekake”ti ca paccatte upayogavacana½, “esese eke ekaµµhe”ti ettha “esese”ti im±nipi paccatte bhummavacan±ni v± siyu½, upayogavacan±ni v±. Yathet±ni eva½vidh±ni na honti, suddhapaccattavacan±niyeva honti, tath± “vanappagumbe, kekake”ti-±d²nipi tath±vidh±ni na honti, suddhapaccattavacan±niyeva honti. Icceva½ sabbath±pi “vanappagumbe, b±le, paº¹ite, kekake”ti, “viratte kosiy±yane, aµµha n±g±v±sasate, ke purise, esese”ti evam±d²na½ anekesa½ purisaliªga-itthiliªganapu½sakaliªgasabban±ma-ekavacana-anekavacanavasena s±sanavare µhit±na½ pad±na½ nipphatti paccattekavacanaputhuvacan±namek±r±desavaseneva bhavat²ti avassamida½ sampaµicchitabba½. Tattha saddato t±va ida½ sammuyhanaµµh±na½– “viratt± kosiy±yan²”ti vattabbe “viratte kosiy±yane”ti itthiliªgapaccattavacana½ dissati, “ko puriso”ti vattabbe “ke purise”ti sabban±mikapaccattavacana½ dissati, “kinn±mo te upajjh±yo”ti vattabbe “kon±mo te upajjh±yo”ti sam±sapada½ pulliªgavisaya½ dissati. Ki½ n±ma½ etass±ti kon±moti hi sam±so. Tena “kon±m± itth², kon±ma½ kulan”ti ayampi nayo gahetabbo. “Kva te bala½ mah±r±j±”ti vattabbe “ko te bala½ mah±r±j±”ti ettha kvasaddena ²saka½ sam±nasutiko sattamiyanto kosaddo dissati, kva kosadd± hi aññamaññam²sakasam±nasutik±. Tath± “idha hemantagimhesu, idha hemantagimhisu, na tenattha½ abandhi so, na tenattha½ abandhis³”ti aññ±nipi yojetabb±ni.
Atthato pana ida½ sammuyhanaµµh±na½– “ya½ na kañcanadvepiñcha, andhena tamas± gatan”ti ettha nak±ro “katan”ti imin± sambandhitabbo. Na katanti kata½ viy±ti attho. Ettha hi nak±ro upam±ne vattati, na paµisedhe.

Tath± “s²ho bhikkhave migar±j± s±yanhasamaya½ ±say± nikkhamat²”ti vutte “mig±dhipo kesaras²ho”ti viññ±yati. “S²ho samaºuddeso, s²ho sen±pat²”ti ca vutte pana “s²ho n±ma s±maºero, s²ho n±ma sen±pat²”ti viññ±yati.
