Satta viññ±ºaµµhitiyoti katam± satta? Vuttañheta½ bhagavat±–
“Santi, bhikkhave (a. ni. 7.44; d². ni. 3.332), satt± n±nattak±y± n±nattasaññino. Seyyath±pi manuss± ekacce ca dev± ekacce ca vinip±tik±. Aya½ paµham± viññ±ºaµµhiti.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± n±nattak±y± ekattasaññino. Seyyath±pi dev± brahmak±yik± paµham±bhinibbatt±. Aya½ dutiy± viññ±ºaµµhiti.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± ekattak±y± n±nattasaññino. Seyyath±pi dev± ±bhassar±. Aya½ tatiy± viññ±ºaµµhiti.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± ekattak±y± ekattasaññino. Seyyath±pi dev± subhakiºh±. Aya½ catutth± viññ±ºaµµhiti.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso r³pasaññ±na½ samatikkam± paµighasaññ±na½ atthaªgam± n±nattasaññ±na½ amanasik±r± ‘ananto ±k±so’ti ±k±s±nañc±yatan³pag±. Aya½ pañcam² viññ±ºaµµhiti.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso ±k±s±nañc±yatana½ samatikkamma ‘ananta½ viññ±ºan’ti viññ±ºañc±yatan³pag±. Aya½ chaµµh± viññ±ºaµµhiti.
“Santi bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso viññ±ºañc±yatana½ samatikkamma ‘natthi kiñc²’ti ±kiñcaññ±yatan³pag±. Aya½ sattam² viññ±ºaµµhiti. Im± kho, bhikkhave, satta viññ±ºaµµhitiyo”ti (a. ni. 7.44; d². ni. 3.332).
Viññ±ºaµµhitiyoti paµisandhiviññ±ºassa µh±n±ni saviññ±ºak± khandh± eva. Tattha seyyath±p²ti nidassanatthe nip±to. Manuss±ti aparim±ºesupi cakkav±¼esu aparim±º±na½ manuss±na½ vaººasaºµh±n±divasena dvepi ekasadis± natthi. Yepi vaººena v± saºµh±nena v± sadis± honti, tepi ±lokitavilokit±d²hi visadis±va honti, tasm± n±nattak±y±ti vutt±. Paµisandhisaññ± pana nesa½ tihetuk±pi duhetuk±pi ahetuk±pi hoti, tasm± n±nattasaññinoti vutt±. Ekacce ca dev±ti cha k±m±vacaradev±. Tesu hi kesañci k±yo n²lo hoti, kesañci p²tak±divaººo, saññ± pana nesa½ tihetuk±pi duhetuk±pi hoti, ahetuk± na hoti. Etesañhi od±tak±¼amaªguracchavis±mavaºº±divasena ceva kisath³larassad²ghavasena ca k±yo n±n± hoti, manuss±na½ viya tihetukadvihetuk±hetukavasena saññ±pi. Te pana dev± viya na mahesakkh±, kapaºamanuss± viya appesakkh± dullabhagh±sacch±dan± dukkhap²¼it± viharanti. Brahmak±yik±ti brahmap±risajjabrahmapurohitamah±brahm±no. Paµham±bhinibbatt±ti te sabbepi paµhamajjh±nena nibbatt±. Brahmap±risajj± pana parittena, brahmapurohit± majjhimena, k±yo ca tesa½ vipph±rikataro hoti. Mah±brahm±no paº²tena, k±yo pana nesa½ ativipph±rikataro hoti. Iti te k±yassa n±natt±, paµhamajjh±navasena saññ±ya ekatt± n±nattak±y± ekattasaññinoti vutt±. Yath± ca te, eva½ cat³su ap±yesu satt±. Nirayesu hi kesañci g±vuta½, kesañci a¹¹hayojana½ kesañci tig±vuta½ attabh±vo hoti, devadattassa pana yojanasatiko j±to. Tiracch±nesupi keci khuddak± honti, keci mahant±. Pettivisayesupi keci saµµhihatth± keci as²tihatth± honti keci suvaºº± keci dubbaºº±. Tath± k±lakañcik± asur±. Apicettha d²ghapiµµhik± pet± n±ma saµµhiyojanik±pi honti, saññ± pana sabbesampi akusalavip±k±hetuk±va hoti. Iti ap±yik±pi “n±nattak±y± ekattasaññino”ti saªkha½ gacchanti.
¾bhassar±ti daº¹a-ukk±ya acci viya etesa½ sar²rato ±bh± chijjitv± chijjitv± patant² viya sarati visarat²ti ±bhassar±. Tesu pañcakanaye dutiyatatiyajjh±nadvaya½ paritta½ bh±vetv± uppann± paritt±bh± n±ma honti, majjhima½ bh±vetv± uppann± appam±º±bh± n±ma honti, paº²ta½ bh±vetv± uppann± ±bhassar± n±ma honti. Idha pana ukkaµµhaparicchedavasena sabbeva te gahit±. Sabbesañhi tesa½ k±yo ekavipph±rova hoti, saññ± pana avitakkavic±ramatt± ca avitakka-avic±r± c±ti n±n±.
Subhakiºh±ti subhena vokiºº± vikiºº±, subhena sar²rappabh±vaººena ekagghan±ti attho. Etesañhi na ±bhassar±na½ viya chijjitv± chijjitv± pabh± gacchat²ti. Catukkanaye tatiyassa, pañcakanaye catutthassa parittamajjhimapaº²tassa jh±nassavasena parittasubha-appam±ºasubhasubhakiºh± n±ma hutv± nibbattanti. Iti sabbepi te ekattak±y± ceva catutthajjh±nasaññ±ya ekattasaññino c±ti veditabb±. Vehapphal±pi catutthaviññ±ºaµµhitimeva bhajanti. Asaññasatt± viññ±º±bh±v± ettha saªgaha½ na gacchanti, satt±v±sesu gacchanti.
Suddh±v±s± vivaµµapakkhe µhit± na sabbak±lik±, kappasatasahassampi asaªkhyeyampi buddhasuññe loke na uppajjanti, so¼asakappasahassabbhantare buddhesu uppannesuyeva uppajjanti, dhammacakkappavattassa bhagavato khandh±v±rasadis± honti, tasm± neva viññ±ºaµµhiti½, na ca satt±v±sa½ bhajanti. Mah±s²vatthero pana– “na kho pana so, s±riputta, satt±v±so sulabhar³po, yo may± an±vutthapubbo imin± d²ghena addhun± aññatra suddh±v±sehi deveh²”ti (ma. ni. 1.160) imin± suttena suddh±v±s±pi catuttha½ viññ±ºaµµhiti½ catuttha½ satt±v±sañca bhajant²ti vadati, ta½ appaµib±hitatt± suttassa anuññ±ta½.
Nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatana½ yatheva saññ±ya, eva½ viññ±ºass±pi sukhumatt± nevaviññ±ºa½ n±viññ±ºa½, tasm± viññ±ºaµµhit²su na vutta½.
Aµµha lokadhamm±ti l±bho, al±bho, yaso, ayaso, nind±, pasa½s±, sukha½, dukkhanti ime aµµha lokappavattiy± sati anuparamadhammakatt± lokassa dhamm±ti lokadhamm±. Etehi mutto satto n±ma natthi, buddh±nampi hontiyeva. Yath±ha–
“Aµµhime, bhikkhave, lokadhamm± loka½ anuparivattanti, loko ca aµµha lokadhamme anuparivattati. Katame aµµha? L±bho ca al±bho ca yaso ca ayaso ca nind± ca pasa½s± ca sukhañca dukkhañca. Ime kho, bhikkhave, aµµha lokadhamm± loka½ anuparivattanti, loko ca ime aµµha lokadhamme anuparivattat²”ti (a. ni. 8.6).

Tattha anuparivattant²ti anubandhanti nappajahanti, lokato na nivattant²ti attho. L±bhoti pabbajitassa c²var±di, gahaµµhassa dhanadhaññ±di l±bho. Soyeva alabbham±no l±bho al±bho. Na l±bho al±bhoti vuccam±ne atth±bh±v±pattito pariññeyyo na siy±. Yasoti pariv±ro. Soyeva alabbham±n± yaso ayaso. Nind±ti avaººabhaºana½. Pasa½s±ti vaººabhaºana½. Sukhanti k±m±vacar±na½ k±yikacetasika½. Dukkhanti puthujjanasot±pannasakad±g±m²na½ k±yikacetasika½, an±g±mi-arahant±na½ k±yikameva.

Nava satt±v±s±ti satt±na½ ±v±s±, vasanaµµh±n±n²ti attho. T±ni pana tath±pak±sit± khandh± eva. Katame nava? Vuttañheta½ bhagavat±–
“Navayime, bhikkhave (a. ni. 9.24; d². ni. 3.341), satt±v±s±. Katame nava? Santi, bhikkhave, satt± n±nattak±y± n±nattasaññino, seyyath±pi manuss± ekacce ca dev± ekacce ca vinip±tik±. Aya½ paµhamo satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± n±nattak±y± ekattasaññino, seyyath±pi dev± brahmak±yik± paµham±bhinibbatt±. Aya½ dutiyo satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± ekattak±y± n±nattasaññino, seyyath±pi dev± ±bhassar±. Aya½ tatiyo satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± ekattak±y± ekattasaññino, seyyath±pi dev± subhakiºh±. Aya½ catuttho satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± asaññino appaµisa½vedino, seyyath±pi dev± asaññasatt±. Aya½ pañcamo satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso r³pasaññ±na½ samatikkam± paµighasaññ±na½ atthaªgam± n±nattasaññ±na½ amanasik±r± ‘ananto ±k±so’ti ±k±s±nañc±yatan³pag±. Aya½ chaµµho satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso ±k±s±nañc±yatana½ samatikkamma ‘ananta½ viññ±ºan’ti viññ±ºañc±yatan³pag±. Aya½ sattamo satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso viññ±ºañc±yatana½ samatikkamma ‘natthi kiñc²’ti ±kiñcaññ±yatan³pag±. Aya½ aµµhamo satt±v±so.
“Santi, bhikkhave, satt± sabbaso ±kiñcaññ±yatana½ samatikkamma nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatan³pag± Aya½ navamo satt±v±so. Ime kho, bhikkhave, nava satt±v±s±”ti (a. ni. 9.24; d². ni. 3.341).

Yesa½ yesa½ dhamm±na½ paµil±bhatth±ya v±yamantassa, te te dhamm± paµiladdh± honti. Eva½ te dhamm± pariññ±t± ceva honti t²rit± c±ti hi kiccasam±panaµµhena t²raºapariññ± vutt±. Kicce hi sam±pite te dhamm± paµiladdh± hont²ti. Keci pana “avipassan³pag±na½ ñ±tapariññ±”ti vadanti. Abhiññeyyena ñ±tapariññ±ya vuttatt± ta½ na sundara½. Pariññ±t± ceva honti t²rit± c±ti te paµiladdh± eva dhamm± pariññ±t± ca n±ma honti, t²rit± ca n±m±ti attho. Eva½ kiccasam±panatthavasena pariññ±tattho vutto hoti.
22. Id±ni tamevattha½ ekekadhamme paµil±bhavasena yojetv± ante ca nigametv± dassetu½ nekkhammanti-±dim±ha. Ta½ sabba½ pubbe vutt±nus±reneva veditabbanti.
