S±sapena saddhi½ aµµhasaµµhiyojanasatasahassubbedha½ sineru½ sama½ k±tu½ icchatha? Sabbańńubuddhena ma½ tulya½ m± karitth±”ti. Te t±vadeva iddhiy± vaŗŗagandhasampann±ni pupph±ni ±haritv± buddhassa yojanappam±ŗa½ pupph±sana½ pańń±pesu½, ubhinna½ aggas±vak±na½ tig±vuta½, sesabhikkh³na½ a¹¹hayojanik±dibheda½, saŖghanavakassa usabhamatta½ pańń±pesu½. Eva½ tesa½ pańńattesu ±sanesu saradat±paso tath±gatassa purato ańjali½ paggayha µhito– “bhante, mayha½ anuggahatth±ya ima½ pupph±sana½ abhiruhath±”ti ±ha. Nis²di bhagav± pupph±sane. Satth± satt±hassa accayena nirodhato vuµµh±ya aggas±vaka½ nisabhatthera½ ±mantesi– “t±pas±na½ pupph±san±numodana½ karoh²”ti. Thero s±vakap±ram²ń±ŗe µhatv± tesa½ pupph±san±numodana½ ak±si. Satth±pissa anantar±yena samijjhanabh±va½ disv± vuttanayena by±karitv± bhatt±numodana½ katv± pakk±mi. Paribb±jako paµhamapadadvayameva sutv± sahassanayasampanne sot±pattiphale patiµµh±si, itara½ padadvaya½ sot±pannak±le niµµh±si. Kolitaparibb±jako ta½ d³ratova ±gacchanta½ disv± “mukhavaŗŗo na ańńadivasesu viya, addh±nena amata½ adhigata½ bhavissat²”ti tenevassa vises±dhigama½ sambh±vetv± amat±dhigama½ pucchi.
