Atha na½ s± tikkhattu½ padakkhiºa½ katv± cat³su µh±nesu vanditv±, “s±mi, ida½ te pacchimadassana½, id±ni tuyha½ v± mama dassana½, mayha½ v± tava dassana½ natth²”ti purato ca pacchato ca ±liªgitv± pamatta½ hutv± pabbatante µhita½ piµµhipasse µhatv± ekena hatthena khandhe gahetv± ekena piµµhikacch±ya gahetv± pabbatapap±te khipi. Anabhijjh± paribb±jak± dhammapada½, aby±p±do paribb±jak± dhammapada½, samm±sati paribb±jak± dhammapada½ samm±sam±dhi paribb±jak± dhammapadan”ti (a. ni. 4.30) eva½ vuttesu cat³su dhammapadesu ekampi dhammapada½ seyyo. Yo sahassa½ sahassen±ti yo eko saªg±mayodho sahassena guºita½ sahassa½ m±nuse ekasmi½ saªg±me jineyya, dasamanussasatasahassa½ jinitv± jaya½ ±hareyya, ayampi saªg±majinata½ uttamo pavaro n±ma na hoti. Ekañca jeyyamatt±nanti yo rattiµµh±nadiv±µµh±nesu ajjhattikakammaµµh±na½ sammasanto attano lobh±dikilesajayena att±na½ jineyya Sa ve saªg±majuttamoti so saªg±majin±na½ uttamo pavaro saªg±mas²sayodhoti.
