8. Nigaºµhan±µaputtasutta½

350. Tena kho pana samayena nigaºµho n±µaputto [n±taputto (s².)] macchik±saº¹a½ anuppatto hoti mahatiy± nigaºµhaparis±ya saddhi½. Assosi kho citto gahapati– “nigaºµho kira n±µaputto macchik±saº¹a½ anuppatto mahatiy± nigaºµhaparis±ya saddhin”ti. Atha kho citto gahapati sambahulehi up±sakehi saddhi½ yena nigaºµho n±µaputto tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± nigaºµhena n±µaputtena saddhi½ sammodi. Sammodan²ya½ katha½ s±raº²ya½ v²tis±retv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinna½ kho citta½ gahapati½ nigaºµho n±µaputto etadavoca– “saddahasi tva½, gahapati, samaºassa gotamassa– atthi avitakko avic±ro sam±dhi, atthi vitakkavic±r±na½ nirodho”ti?
“Na khv±ha½ ettha, bhante, bhagavato saddh±ya gacch±mi. Atthi avitakko avic±ro sam±dhi, atthi vitakkavic±r±na½ nirodho”ti. Eva½ vutte, nigaºµho n±µaputto ulloketv± [saka½ parisa½ apaloketv± (s². sy±. ka½.), oloketv± (s². aµµha. sy±. aµµha.)] etadavoca– “ida½ bhavanto passantu, y±va ujuko c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va asaµho c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va am±y±v² c±ya½ citto gahapati, v±ta½ v± so j±lena b±dhetabba½ maññeyya, yo vitakkavic±re nirodhetabba½ maññeyya sakamuµµhin± v± so gaªg±ya sota½ ±v±retabba½ maññeyya, yo vitakkavic±re nirodhetabba½ maññeyy±”ti.
“Ta½ ki½ maññasi, bhante, katama½ nu kho paº²tatara½– ñ±ºa½ v± saddh± v±”ti? “Saddh±ya kho, gahapati, ñ±ºa½yeva paº²tataran”ti. “Aha½ kho, bhante, y±vadeva ±kaªkh±mi, vivicceva k±mehi vivicca akusalehi dhammehi savitakka½ savic±ra½ vivekaja½ p²tisukha½ paµhama½ jh±na½ upasampajja vihar±mi Aha½ kho, bhante, y±vadeva ±kaªkh±mi, vitakkavic±r±na½ v³pasam±…pe… dutiya½ jh±na½ upasampajja vihar±mi. Aha½ kho, bhante, y±vadeva ±kaªkh±mi, p²tiy± ca vir±g±…pe… tatiya½ jh±na½ upasampajja vihar±mi. Aha½ kho, bhante, y±vadeva ±kaªkh±mi, sukhassa ca pah±n±…pe… catuttha½ jh±na½ upasampajja vihar±mi. Na so khv±ha½, bhante, eva½ j±nanto eva½ passanto kassa aññassa samaºassa v± br±hmaºassa v± saddh±ya gamiss±mi? Atthi avitakko avic±ro sam±dhi, atthi vitakkavic±r±na½ nirodho”ti.
Eva½ vutte, nigaºµho n±µaputto saka½ parisa½ apaloketv± etadavoca– “ida½ bhavanto passantu, y±va anujuko c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va saµho c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va m±y±v² c±ya½ citto gahapat²”ti.
“Id±neva kho te [id±neva ca pana (sy±. ka½. ka.)] maya½, bhante, bh±sita½– ‘eva½ ±j±n±ma ida½ bhavanto passantu, y±va ujuko c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va asaµho c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va am±y±v² c±ya½ citto gahapat²’ti. Id±neva ca pana maya½, bhante, bh±sita½– ‘eva½ ±j±n±ma ida½ bhavanto passantu, y±va anujuko c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va saµho c±ya½ citto gahapati, y±va m±y±v² c±ya½ citto gahapat²’ti. Sace te, bhante, purima½ sacca½, pacchima½ te micch±. Sace pana te, bhante, purima½ micch±, pacchima½ te sacca½. Ime kho pana, bhante, dasa sahadhammik± pañh± ±gacchanti. Yad± nesa½ attha½ ±j±neyy±si, atha ma½ paµihareyy±si saddhi½ nigaºµhaparis±ya. Eko pañho, eko uddeso, eka½ veyy±karaºa½. Dve pañh±, dve uddes±, dve veyy±karaº±ni. Tayo pañh±, tayo uddes±, t²ºi veyy±karaº±ni. Catt±ro pañh±, catt±ro uddes±, catt±ri veyy±karaº±ni. Pañca pañh±, pañca uddes±, pañca veyy±karaº±ni. Cha pañh±, cha uddes±, cha veyy±karaº±ni. Satta pañh±, satta uddes±, satta veyy±karaº±ni Aµµha pañh±, aµµha uddes±, aµµha veyy±karaº±ni. Nava pañh±, nava uddes±, nava veyy±karaº±ni. Dasa pañh±, dasa uddes±, dasa veyy±karaº±n²”ti.
