348. Eka½ samaya½ ±yasm± k±mabh³ macchik±saº¹e viharati amb±µakavane. Atha kho citto gahapati yen±yasm± k±mabh³ tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho citto gahapati ±yasmanta½ k±mabhu½ etadavoca– “kati nu kho, bhante, saªkh±r±”ti? “Tayo kho, gahapati, saªkh±r±– k±yasaªkh±ro, vac²saªkh±ro, cittasaªkh±ro”ti. “S±dhu, bhante”ti kho citto gahapati ±yasmato k±mabhussa bh±sita½ abhinanditv± anumoditv± ±yasmanta½ k±mabhu½ uttari½ pañha½ apucchi– “katamo pana, bhante, k±yasaªkh±ro, katamo vac²saªkh±ro, katamo cittasaªkh±ro”ti? “Ass±sapass±s± kho, gahapati, k±yasaªkh±ro, vitakkavic±r± vac²saªkh±ro, saññ± ca vedan± ca cittasaªkh±ro”ti.
“S±dhu, bhante”ti kho citto gahapati…pe… uttari½ pañha½ apucchi– “kasm± pana, bhante, ass±sapass±s± k±yasaªkh±ro, kasm± vitakkavic±r± vac²saªkh±ro, kasm± saññ± ca vedan± ca cittasaªkh±ro”ti? “Ass±sapass±s± kho, gahapati, k±yik±. Yo ca khv±ya½, gahapati, bhikkhu saññ±vedayitanirodha½ sam±panno, tassapi k±yasaªkh±ro niruddho paµippassaddho, vac²saªkh±ro niruddho paµippassaddho, cittasaªkh±ro niruddho paµippassaddho, ±yu aparikkh²ºo, usm± av³pasant±, indriy±ni vippasann±ni. Yv±ya½, gahapati, mato k±laªkato, yo c±ya½ bhikkhu saññ±vedayitanirodha½ sam±panno, ida½ nesa½ n±n±karaºan”ti.

Api ca ty±ha½ by±kariss±mi. Saññ±vedayitanirodhasam±pattiy± kho, gahapati, dve dhamm± bah³pak±r±– samatho ca vipassan± c±”ti. Chaµµha½.
