24. Ubhatobh±gavimuttaniddese– aµµha vimokkhe k±yena phusitv± viharat²ti aµµha sam±pattiyo sahaj±tan±mak±yena paµilabhitv± viharati. Paññ±ya cassa disv±ti vipassan±paññ±ya saªkh±ragata½, maggapaññ±ya catt±ri sacc±ni passitv± catt±ropi ±sav± kh²º± honti. Aya½ vuccat²ti aya½ evar³po puggalo ubhatobh±gavimutto n±m±ti vuccati. Ayañhi dv²hi bh±gehi dve v±re vimuttoti ubhatobh±gavimutto. Saªkhepato pana ar³pasam±pattiy± r³pak±yato vimutto, maggena n±mak±yato vimuttoti ubhohi bh±gehi vimuttatt± ubhatobh±gavimutto. So catunna½ ar³pasam±patt²na½ ekekato vuµµh±ya saªkh±re sammasitv± arahatta½ patt±na½ catunna½, nirodh± vuµµh±ya arahatta½ pattassa an±g±mino ca vasena pañcavidho hoti. Tattha purim± catt±ro sam±pattis²sa½ nirodha½ na sam±pajjant²ti pariy±yena ubhatobh±gavimutt± n±ma. Nanu ca ar³p±vacarajjh±nampi upekkh±cittekaggat±hi duvaªgika½ r³p±vacaracatutthajjh±nampi, tasm± tampi padaµµh±na½ katv± arahatta½ pattena ubhatobh±gavimuttena bhavitabbanti? Na bhavitabba½. Kasm±? R³pak±yato avimuttatt±. Tañhi kilesak±yatova vimutta½, na r³pak±yato; tasm± tato vuµµh±ya arahatta½ patto ubhatobh±gavimutto n±ma na hoti Ar³p±vacara½ pana n±mak±yato ca vimutta½ r³pak±yato c±ti tadeva p±daka½ katv± arahatta½ patto ubhatobh±gavimutto hot²ti veditabbo.
25. Paññ±vimuttaniddese– paññ±ya vimuttoti paññ±vimutto. So sukkhavipassako cat³hi jh±nehi vuµµh±ya arahatta½ patt± catt±ro c±ti pañcavidho hoti. Etesu hi ekopi aµµhavimokkhal±bh² na hoti. Teneva na heva kho aµµha vimokkheti-±dim±ha. Ar³p±vacarajjh±nesu pana ekasmi½ sati ubhatobh±gavimuttoyeva n±ma hot²ti.
26. K±yasakkhiniddese– ekacce ±sav±ti heµµhimamaggattayavajjh±. Aya½ vuccat²ti aya½ evar³po puggalo k±yasakkh²ti vuccati. So hi phuµµhanta½ sacchikarot²ti k±yasakkh². Jh±naphassa½ paµhama½ phusati, pacch± nirodha½ nibb±na½ sacchikarot²tipi k±yasakkh². So sot±pattiphalaµµha½ ±di½ katv± y±va arahattamaggaµµh± chabbidho hoti.
27. Diµµhippattaniddese ida½ dukkhanti ida½ dukkha½, ettaka½ dukkha½, na ito uddha½ dukkha½. Dukkhasamuday±d²supi eseva nayo. Yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±t²ti µhapetv± taºha½ pañcup±d±nakkhandhe ‘dukkhasaccan’ti y±th±vasarasato paj±n±ti. Taºh± pana dukkha½ janeti nibbatteti, pabh±veti, tato ta½ dukkha½ samudeti; tasm± na½ aya½ ‘dukkhasamudayo’ti yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti. Yasm± pana ida½ dukkhañca samudayo ca nibb±na½ patv± nirujjhanti v³pasammanti appavatti½ gacchanti; tasm± na½ ‘aya½ dukkhanirodho’ti yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti. Ayañhi diµµhanta½ patto. “Dukkh± saªkh±r±, sukho nirodho”ti ñ±ºa½ hoti Diµµha½ vidita½ sacchikata½ passita½ paññ±y±ti diµµhappatto. Ayampi k±yasakkh² viya chabbidhova hoti.
28. Saddh±vimuttaniddese– no ca kho yath± diµµhippattass±ti yath± diµµhippattassa ±sav± parikkh²º±, na eva½ saddh±vimuttass±ti attho. Ki½ pana nesa½ kilesappah±ne n±natta½ atth²ti? Natthi. Atha kasm± saddh±vimutto diµµhippatta½ na p±puº±t²ti? ¾gaman²yan±nattena. Diµµhippato hi ±gamanamhi kilese vikkhambhento appadukkhena appakasirena akilamantova vikkhambhetu½ sakkoti. Saddh±vimutto pana dukkhena kasirena kilamanto hutv± vikkhambhetu½ sakkoti, tasm± diµµhippatta½ na p±puº±ti. Apica nesa½ paññ±yapi n±natta½ atthiyeva. Diµµhippattassa hi upari tiººa½ magg±na½ vipassan±ñ±ºa½ tikkha½ s³ra½ pasanna½ hutv± vahati. Saddh±vimuttassa vipassan±ñ±ºa½ no tikkha½ s³ra½ pasanna½ hutv± vahati, tasm±pi so diµµhippatta½ na p±puº±ti.
Yath± hi dv²su taruºesu sippa½ dassentesu ekassa hatthe tikhiºo asi, ekassa kuºµho. Tikhiºena asin± kadal² chijjam±n± sadda½ na karoti. Kuºµhena asin± chijjam±n± ‘kaµakaµ±’ti sadda½ karoti. Tattha tikhiºena asin± sadda½ akarontiy± eva kadaliy± chedana½ viya diµµhippattassa tiººa½ magg±na½ vipassan±ñ±ºassa tikhiºas³ravippasannabh±vo. Kuºµhena asin± sadda½ karontiy±pi kadaliy± chedana½ viya saddh±vimuttassa tiººa½ magg±na½ vipassan±ñ±ºassa atikhiºa-as³ra-appasannabh±vo veditabbo. Ima½ pana naya½ ‘no’ti paµikkhipitv±, ±gaman²yan±natteneva saddh±vimutto diµµhippatta½ na p±puº±t²ti sanniµµh±na½ kata½.

Diµµhippattassa pubbabh±gamaggakkhaºe kilesacchedakañ±ºa½ adandha½ tikhiºa½ s³ra½ hutv± vahati. 29. Dhamm±nus±r²niddese– paµipannass±ti imin± sot±pattimaggaµµho dassito. Adhimattanti balava½. Pañña½ v±het²ti paññ±v±h². Paññ± ima½ puggala½ vahat²ti paññ±v±h²tipi vutta½ hoti. Paññ±pubbaªgamanti pañña½ purec±rika½ katv±. Aya½ vuccat²ti aya½ evar³po puggalo dhamm±nus±r²ti vuccati. So hi paññ±saªkh±tena dhammena sarati anussarat²ti dhamm±nus±r². Sot±pattimaggaµµhasseveta½ n±ma½. Phale pana patte diµµhippatto n±ma hoti.
30. Saddh±nus±r²niddesepi– saddha½ v±het²ti saddh±v±h². Saddh± ima½ puggala½ vahat²ti saddh±v±h²tipi vuttameva. Saddh±pubbaªgamanti saddha½ purec±rika½ katv±. Aya½ vuccat²ti aya½ evar³po puggalo saddh±nus±r²ti vuccati. So hi saddh±ya sarati. Anussarat²ti saddh±nus±r². Sot±pattimaggaµµhasseveta½ n±ma½. Phale pana patte saddh±vimutto n±ma hoti. Lokuttaradhammañhi nibbattent±na½ dve dhur±ni n±ma, dve abhinives± n±ma, dve s²s±ni n±ma. Tattha saddh±dhura½ paññ±dhuranti– dve dhur±ni n±ma. Eko pana bhikkhu samath±bhinivesena abhinivisati, eko vipassan±bhinivesen±ti– ime dve abhinives± n±ma. Eko ca matthaka½ p±puºanto ubhatobh±gavimutto hoti, eko paññ±vimuttoti– im±ni dve s²s±ni n±ma. Ye keci hi lokuttaradhamma½ nibbattenti, sabbe te ime dve dhamme dhura½ katv± imesu dv²su µh±nesu abhinivisitv± imehi dv²hi µh±nehi vimuccanti. Tesu yo bhikkhu aµµhasam±pattil±bh² pañña½ dhura½ katv± samathavasena abhiniviµµho aññatara½ ar³pasam±patti½ padaµµh±na½ katv± vipassana½ paµµhapetv± arahatta½ p±puº±ti, so sot±pattimaggakkhaºe dhamm±nus±r² n±ma. 31. Sattakkhattuparamaniddese– sattakkhattunti sattav±re. Sattakkhattuparam± bhav³papatti attabh±vaggahaºa½ assa, tato para½ aµµhama½ bhava½ n±diyat²ti sattakkhattuparamo. Sot±panno hot²ti ettha sototi ariyamaggo, tena samann±gato sot±panno n±ma. Yath±ha–
“Soto sototi hida½, s±riputta, vuccati. Katamo nu kho, s±riputta, sototi? Ayameva hi, bhante, ariyo aµµhaªgiko maggo soto, seyyathida½– samm±diµµhi…pe… samm±sam±dh²ti. Sot±panno sot±pannoti, hida½, s±riputta, vuccati. Katamo nu kho, s±riputta, sot±pannoti? Yo hi, bhante, imin± ariyena aµµhaªgikena maggena samann±gato aya½ vuccati sot±panno, sv±ya½ ±yasm± eva½n±mo eva½gotto iti v±”ti (sa½. ni. 5.1001).
