Kamm±yatanes³ti ettha kammameva kamm±yatana½; atha v± kammañca ta½ ±yatanañca ±j²v±d²nantipi kamm±yatana½. Sipp±yatanesupi eseva nayo. Tattha duvidha½ kamma½– h²nañca ukkaµµhañca. Tattha h²na½ n±ma va¹¹hak²kamma½, pupphacha¹¹akakammanti evam±di. Ukkaµµha½ n±ma kasi, vaºijj±, gorakkhanti evam±di. Sippampi duvidha½ h²nañca ukkaµµhañca. Tattha h²na½ sippa½ n±ma na¼ak±rasippa½, pesak±rasippa½, kumbhak±rasippa½, cammak±rasippa½, nh±pitasippanti evam±di. Ukkaµµha½ n±ma sippa½ mudd±, gaºan±, lekhañc±ti evam±di vijj±va vijj±µµh±na½. Ta½ dhammikameva gahita½. N±gamaº¹alaparittasadisa½, phudhamanakamantasadisa½, s±l±kiya½ sallakattiyanti-±d²ni pana vejjasatth±ni “icch±maha½, ±cariya, sippa½ sikkhitun”ti (mah±va. 329) sipp±yatane paviµµhatt± na gahit±ni.
Tattha eko paº¹ito manuss±na½ ph±suvih±ratth±ya attano ca dhammat±ya gehap±s±day±nan±v±d²ni upp±deti. So hi ‘ime manuss± vasanaµµh±nena vin± dukkhit±’ti hitakiriy±ya µhatv± d²ghacaturass±dibheda½ geha½ upp±deti, s²tuºhapaµigh±tatth±ya ekabh³mikadvibh³mik±dibhede p±s±de karoti, ‘y±ne asati anusañcaraºa½ n±ma dukkhan’ti jaªgh±kilamathapaµivinodanatth±ya vayhasakaµasandam±nik±d²ni upp±deti, ‘n±v±ya asati samudd±d²su sañc±ro n±ma natth²’ti n±nappak±ra½ n±va½ upp±deti. So sabbampeta½ neva aññehi kayiram±na½ passati, na kata½ uggaºh±ti, na kathent±na½ suº±ti, attano pana dhammat±ya cint±ya karoti. Duvidhepi pana sipp±yatane eko paº¹ito manuss±na½ ph±suvih±ratth±ya na¼ak±rasipp±d²ni h²nasipp±ni, hatthamudd±ya gaºanasaªkh±ta½ mudda½, acchinnakasaªkh±ta½ gaºana½, m±tik±ppabhedak±dibhedañca lekha½ upp±deti. So sabbampeta½ neva aññehi kariyam±na½ passati…pe… katasadisameva hoti. Aya½ sipp±yatane nayo.
Ekacco pana paº¹ito amanussasar²sap±d²hi upaddut±na½ manuss±na½ tikicchanatth±ya dhammik±ni n±gamaº¹alamant±d²ni vijj±µµh±n±ni upp±deti, t±ni neva aññehi kariyam±n±ni passati, na kat±ni uggaºh±ti, na kathent±na½ suº±ti, attano pana dhammat±ya cint±ya karoti. Paññavat± hi attano dhammat±ya katampi aññehi uggaºhitv± karontehi katasadisameva hoti.
Kammassakata½ ti “ida½ kamma½ satt±na½ saka½, ida½ no sakan”ti eva½ j±nanañ±ºa½. Sacc±nulomika½ v±ti vipassan±ñ±ºa½. Tañhi catunna½ sacc±na½ anulomanato sacc±nulomikanti vuccati. Id±nissa pavattan±k±ra½ dassetu½ r³pa½ aniccanti v±ti-±di vutta½. Ettha ca aniccalakkhaºameva ±gata½, na dukkhalakkhaºa-anattalakkhaº±ni, atthavasena pana ±gat±nev±ti daµµhabb±ni– yañhi anicca½ ta½ dukkha½, ya½ dukkha½ tadanatt±ti.
Ya½ evar³pinti ya½ eva½ heµµh± niddiµµhasabh±va½ anulomika½. Khantinti-±d²ni sabb±ni paññ±vevacan±neva. S± hi heµµh± vutt±na½ kamm±yatan±d²na½ pañcanna½ k±raº±na½ apaccan²kadassanena anulomet²ti anulomik±. S²la½ ±rabbha s²l±dhigacch±ti idh±pi s²lacetan±sampayutt±va s²lamay± paññ±ti adhippet±. Ayampi ‘s²la½ p³ress±m²’ti cintentassa, s²la½ p³rentassa, s²la½ p³retv± ta½ paccavekkhantassa pubbacetan±, muñcacetan±, aparacetan±ti tividheneva uppajjati. Bh±van±may± heµµh± vutt±yeva.
770. Adhis²lapaññ±d²su s²l±d²ni duvidhena veditabb±ni– s²la½, adhis²la½; citta½, adhicitta½; paññ±, adhipaññ±ti. Tattha “upp±d± v± tath±gat±na½ anupp±d± v± tath±gat±na½ µhit±va s± dh±tu dhammaµµhitat± dhammaniy±mat±”ti (sa½. ni. 2.20; a. ni. 3.137) im±ya tantiy± saªgahitavasena pañcapi s²l±ni dasapi s²l±ni s²la½ n±ma. Tañhi tath±gate uppannepi anuppannepi hoti. Anuppanne ke paññ±pent²ti? T±pasaparibb±jak±, sabbaññubodhisatt±, cakkavattir±j±no ca paññ±penti. Uppanne samm±sambuddhe bhikkhusaªgho, bhikkhun²saªgho, up±sak±, up±sik±yo ca paññ±penti. P±timokkhasa½varas²la½ pana sabbas²lehi adhika½ uppanneyeva tath±gate uppajjati, no anuppanne. Sabbaññubuddh±yeva ca na½ paññ±penti. “Imasmi½ vatthusmi½ v²tikkame ida½ n±ma hot²”ti paññ±panañhi aññesa½ avisayo, buddh±na½yeva esa visayo, buddh±na½ bala½. Sabbaññubuddh± eva ca et± paññ±penti Iti yasm± aµµha sam±pattiyo adhicitta½, tasm± adhicittapañña½ dassetu½ r³p±vacar±r³p±vacarasam±patti½ sam±pajjantass±ti-±di vutta½.

Anuppanne vel±mad±navessantarad±n±divasena uppajjati; uppanne tena ñ±ºena mah±d±na½ pavattent±na½ pam±ºa½ natthi. Maggaphalapaññ± pana sabbapaññ±hi adhik±, uppanneyeva tath±gate vitth±rik± hutv± pavattati, no anuppanne. Iti yasm± maggaphalapaññ± adhipaññ±, tasm± atirekapaññ±ya pañña½ dassetu½ cat³su magges³ti-±di vutta½.
Tattha siy±– s²la½, adhis²la½; citta½, adhicitta½; paññ±, adhipaññ±ti imesu chasu koµµh±sesu vipassan± paññ± katarasannissit±ti? Adhipaññ±sannissit±. 771. ¾yakosall±diniddese yasm± ±yoti vu¹¹hi, s± anatthah±nito atthuppattito ca duvidh±; ap±yoti avu¹¹hi, s±pi atthah±nito anatthuppattito ca duvidh±; tasm± ta½ dassetu½ ime dhamme manasikarototi-±di vutta½. Ida½ vuccat²ti y± imesa½ akusaladhamm±na½ anuppattippah±nesu kusaladhamm±nañca uppattiµµhit²su paññ±– ida½ ±yakosalla½ n±ma vuccati. Y± panes± kusaladhamm±na½ anuppajjananirujjhanesu akusaladhamm±nañca uppattiµµhit²su paññ±– ida½ ap±yakosalla½ n±m±ti attho. ¾yakosalla½ t±va paññ± hotu; ap±yakosalla½ katha½ paññ± n±ma j±t±ti? Paññav±yeva hi ‘mayha½ eva½ manasikaroto anuppann± kusal± dhamm± nuppajjanti uppann± ca nirujjhanti; anuppann± akusal± dhamm± uppajjanti, uppann± pava¹¹hant²’ti paj±n±ti. So eva½ ñatv± anuppann±na½ akusal±na½ dhamm±na½ uppajjitu½ na deti, uppanne pajahati; anuppanne kusale upp±deti, uppanne bh±van±p±rip³ri½ p±peti. Eva½ ap±yakosallampi paññ± ev±ti veditabba½. Sabb±pi tatr³p±y± paññ± up±yakosallanti ida½ pana acc±yikakicce v± bhaye v± uppanne tassa tikicchanattha½ µh±nuppattiyak±raºaj±nanavaseneva veditabba½. Sesa½ sabbattha utt±natthamev±ti.
