Varattanti m±na½ visajjeti, icch± lobho ca p±pakoti pañcak±maguºiko r±go. Tattha visamalobho p±pakoti niddisiyati sam³lataºhanti. Aññ±ºam³lak± taºh±ti aññ±ºam³lak± taºh±, taºh±ya ca diµµhiy± ca pah±na½. Ye ca puna aññepi keci catucakkayogena teneva k±raºena ca yujjanti, sa½s±rag±mino dhamm± sabbe niddisitabb±. Tatth±ya½ g±th± visajjan± pucch±ya ca visajjan±ya sameti [sama½ti (p².)]. Ya½ yadi sandena atha saha by±karaºena anug²tiya½ ca so vicayoti bhagav± yattak±ni pad±ni nikkhipati, tattakehi anug±yati. 46. “Yo ve na byathati [by±thati (ka.)] patv±, parisa½ uggav±dini½;
na ca h±peti vacana½, na ca ch±deti s±sana½.
“Asandiddhi½ ca bhaºati, pucchito na ca kuppati;
sa ve t±disako bhikkhu, d³teyya½ gantumarahat²”ti.
Tattha pana bhagav± yattak±ni pad±ni nikkhipati, tattakehi anug±yati. Sattahi, bhikkhave, aªgehi samann±gato kaly±ºamitto piyo garubh±van²yoti vitth±rena, ida½ bhagav± sattahi padehi anug±yati. Iti bahussutav± anug±yati, appatarakatha½ pada½ v± nikkhepo, bahussutav± nava pad±ni nikkhepo, appatarik± anug²tiy± bahutarik± anug±yati. Aya½ vuccati te anug²ti ca vicayo, aya½ vicayo n±ma h±ro.
