Evar³pa½ pema½ sandh±ya “satthari pas±do”ti vadanti. Thero pan±ha– “yasm± satth± n±ma na ekassa, na dvinna½ hoti, sadevakassa lokassa ekova satth±, tasm± titthiy± ‘amh±ka½ satth±’ ti ekapadeneva satth±ra½ visu½ katv± imin±va padena viruddh± par±jit±”ti. Dhamme pas±doti ida½ pana yath± id±ni s±sane “amh±ka½ d²ghanik±yo amh±ka½ majjhimanik±yo”ti mam±yanti, eva½ attano attano pariyattidhamme gehasitapema½ sandh±ya vadanti. Sabbeva cete arahattameva niµµh±ti vadanti. Diµµhivasena pana brahmalok±d²ni paññapenti. Tasm± attano attano laddhivasena ekameva niµµha½ paññapenti, ta½ dassetu½ bhagav± samm± by±karam±n±ti-±dim±ha.

Tattha yasm± r±garatt±d²na½ niµµh± n±ma natthi. Yadi siy±, soºasiªg±l±d²nampi siy±ti ima½ dosa½ passant±na½ titthiy±na½ “v²tar±gassa ±vuso s± niµµh±”ti-±din± nayena by±karaºa½ dassita½.

Papañce rati ass±ti papañcarati. Papañcoti ca mattapamatt±k±rabh±vena pavatt±na½ taºh±diµµhim±n±nameta½ adhivacana½. Idha pana taºh±diµµhiyova adhippet±. Tattha bhavadiµµh²ti sassatadiµµhi. Vibhavadiµµh²ti ucchedadiµµhi. Bhavadiµµhi½ all²n±ti taºh±diµµhivasena sassatadiµµhi½ all²n±. Upagat±ti taºh±diµµhivaseneva upagat±. Ajjhosit±ti taºh±diµµhivaseneva anupaviµµh±. Vibhavadiµµhiy± te paµiviruddh±ti te sabbe ucchedav±d²hi saddhi½– “tumhe andhab±l± na j±n±tha, sassato aya½ loko, n±ya½ loko ucchijjat²”ti paµiviruddh± nicca½ kalahabhaº¹anapasut± viharanti. Dutiyav±repi eseva nayo.

So vaggulivata½ ukkuµikappadh±na½ kaºµak±passayat± pañc±tapatappana½ s±nupap±tapatana½ kesamassuluñcana½ appoºaka½ jh±nanti-±d²na½ vasena½ veditabbo. Nissaraºanti diµµh²na½ nissaraºa½ n±ma nibb±na½. Keci k±mup±d±namattassa pariñña½ paññapenti. Keci diµµhup±d±namattassa paññapenti, keci s²labbatup±d±nass±pi. Attav±dup±d±nassa pana pariñña½ paññapento n±ma natthi. Tesa½ pana bheda½ dassento k±mup±d±nassa pariñña½ paññapent²ti-±dim±ha. Tattha sabbepi k±mup±d±nassa pariñña½ paññapentiyeva, channavuti p±saº¹±pi hi “k±m± kho pabbajitena na sevitabb±”ti vatthupaµisevana½ k±ma½ kappat²ti na paññapenti, akappiyameva katv± paññapenti. Ye pana sevanti, te theyyena sevanti. Tena vutta½ “k±mup±d±nassa pariñña½ paññapent²”ti.
