Itthiya½ bh±sitapumitth² pum±vekatthe [ka. 331; r³. 353; n². 714; ca½. 5.2.29; p±. 6.3.34]. ‘Ekatthe’ti tuly±dhikaraºe, itthiya½ vattam±ne ekatthe uttarapade pare kad±ci bh±sitapumo itthiliªgasaddo pum± iva hoti. Caturaªgamida½ vidh±na½, pubbapada½ itthiliªgañca bh±sitapumañca siy±, parapada½ niyatitthiliªgañca pubbapadena ekatthañca siy±ti. D²gh± jaªgh± yassa so d²ghajaªgho, puriso, d²ghajaªgh±, itth², d²ghajaªgha½, kula½. Ettha ca ye sadd± katthaci pulliªgar³p± honti, katthaci itthipaccayayutt± itthiliªgar³p±, te bh±sitapum± n±ma. D²gho maggo, d²gh± ratti, gato puriso, gat± itth², kum±ro, kum±r², br±hmaºo, br±hmaº² icc±di. Ye pana itthipaccayayutt± nicca½ itthiliªgar³p± honti, te bh±sitapum± n±ma na honti, kaññ±, paññ±, saddh±, nad², itth², pathav² icc±di. Tath± sabh±va-itthiliªg±pi niyatapunnapu½sakaliªg±pi bh±sitapum± na honti, devat±, ratti, dhenu, vadh³, sakko, devo, brahm±, ratana½, saraºa½ icc±di. Idha pana d²ghasaddo “d²gho b±l±na sa½s±ro”ti [dha. pa. 60] ±d²su bh±sitapumo, so visesyaliªg±nugatavasena idha itthipaccayayutto itthiliªgasaddo n±ma. Imin± suttena pumbh±v±tidese kate tattha ±paccayo antaradh±yati, ‘ghapassantass±ppadh±nass±’ti suttena sam±santassa ±k±rassa rassatta½, kum±r² bhariy± yassa so kum±rabhariyo, ²paccayanivatti. Yuvati j±y± yassa so yuvaj±yo, tipaccayanivatti. Brahmabandh³ bhariy± yassa so brahmabandhubhariyo, ³paccayanivatti. Itthiyanti ki½? Kum±r² ratana½ yassa so kum±r²ratano, puriso, idha parapada½ itthiliªga½ na hoti, tasm± pumbh±v±tideso na k±tabbo, yadi kareyya, kum±ro ratana½ yassa kum±raratanoti eva½ aniµµhattho bhaveyya. Ekattheti ki½? Kum±r²su bhatti yassa so kum±r²bhattiko. Eva½ samaº²bhattiko, br±hmaº²bhattiko, sam±sante ko, idha parapada½ pubbapadena ekattha½ na hoti, tasm± pumbh±v±tideso na k±tabbo, yadi kareyya, kum±resu bhatti yassa so kum±rabhattikoti eva½ aniµµhattho bhaveyya. Itth²ti ki½? Daµµhabbaµµhena diµµhi, g±maºikula½ diµµhi yena so g±maºidiµµhi, idha g±maºisaddo bh±sitapumo hoti, idha pana kulav±cakatt± napu½sakaliªge tiµµhati, itthipaccayo natthi, tasm± pumbh±v±tidesakicca½ natthi. Bh±sitapumoti ki½? Saddh± pakati yassa so saddh±pakatiko. Eva½ paññ±pakatiko, idha pubbapada½ niyatitthiliªgatt± bh±sitapuma½ na hot²ti. Saddh±dhano, paññ±dhano, saddh±dhuro paññ±dhuro iccatra duvaªgavekalla½ hoti.
