Atha v± yath± koci balavat± pothiyam±no dubbalapuriso tassa paµippaharitu½ asakkonto tasmi½ upekkhakova hoti, evameva akusalavip±k±na½ paridubbalabh±vato aniµµh±rammaºepi domanassupp±do natth²ti sant²raºa½ upekkh±sahagatameva. Cakkhuviññ±º±d²ni pana catt±ri ubhayavip±k±nipi vatth±rammaºaghaµµan±ya dubbalabh±vato aniµµhe iµµhepi ca ±rammaºe upekkh±sahagat±neva. Tesañhi catunnampi vatthubh³t±ni cakkh±d²ni up±d±r³p±neva, tath± ±rammaºabh³t±nipi r³p±d²ni, up±d±r³pakena ca up±d±r³pakassa saªghaµµana½ atidubbala½ picupiº¹akena picupiº¹akassa phusana½ viya, tasm± t±ni sabbath±pi upekkh±sahagat±neva. K±yaviññ±ºassa pana phoµµhabbasaªkh±tabh³tattayameva ±rammaºanti ta½ k±yappas±de saªghaµµitampi ta½ atikkamitv± tannissayesu mah±bh³tesu paµihaññati. Bh³tar³pehi ca bh³tar³p±na½ saªghaµµana½ balavatara½ adhikaraºimatthake picupiº¹aka½ µhapetv± k³µena pahaµak±le k³µassa picupiº¹aka½ atikkamitv± adhikaraºiggahaºa½ viya, tasm± vatth±rammaºaghaµµan±ya balavabh±vato k±yaviññ±ºa½ aniµµhe dukkhasahagata½, iµµhe sukhasahagatanti. Vuttavipariy±yato kusalavip±kasant²raºa½ iµµha-iµµhamajjhatt±rammaºesu sukhopekkh±sahagatanti. Yadi eva½ ±vajjanadvayassa upekkh±sampayoga½ kasm± vakkhati, nanu tampi sam±nanissay±nantara½ pavattat²ti? Sacca½, tattha pana purima½ pubbe kenaci aggahiteyeva ±rammaºe ekav±rameva pavattati, pacchimampi visadisacittasant±napar±vattanavasena by±p±rantaras±pekkhanti na sabbath±pi visayarasamanubhavitu½ sakkoti, tasm± majjhattavedan±sampayuttamev±ti. tasm± dubbalam±lambe, sopekkha½ sampaµicchanan”ti.
Kusalassa vip±k±ni, sampayuttahetuvirahato ahetukacitt±ni c±ti kusalavip±k±hetukacitt±ni. Nibbattakahetuvasena nipphann±nipi het±ni sampayuttahetuvaseneva ahetukavoh±ra½ labhanti, itarath± mah±vip±kehi imesa½ n±natt±sambhavato. Cakkh±dipañcadv±re ghaµµitam±rammaºa½ ±vajjeti tattha ±bhoga½ karoti, cittasant±na½ v± bhavaªgavasena pavattitu½ adatv± v²thicittabh±v±ya pariº±met²ti pañcadv±r±vajjana½, kiriy±hetukamanodh±tucitta½. ¾vajjanassa anantarapaccayabh³ta½ bhavaªgacitta½ manodv±ra½ v²thicitt±na½ pavattimukhabh±vato. Tasmi½ diµµhasutamut±divasena ±p±tham±gatam±rammaºa½ ±vajjeti vuttanayena v± cittasant±na½ pariº±met²ti manodv±r±vajjana½, kiriy±hetukamanoviññ±ºadh±tu-upekkh±sahagatacitta½.
