Iti imesa½ catuv²satiy± khuddakapaµµh±nasaªkh±t±na½ samantapaµµh±n±na½ samodh±navaseneta½ catuv²satisamantapaµµh±nasamodh±na½ paµµh±namah±pakaraºa½ n±ma.

Tattha hetu ca so paccayo c±ti hetupaccayo. Hetu hutv± paccayo, hetubh±vena paccayoti vutta½ hoti. ¾rammaºapaccay±d²supi eseva nayo. Tattha het³ti vacan±vayavak±raºam³l±nameta½ adhivacana½. “Paµiññ± het³”ti-±d²su hi loke vacan±vayavo het³ti, vuccati. S±sane pana “ye dhamm± hetuppabhav±”ti-±d²su (mah±va. 60) k±raºa½. “Tayo kusal± het³, tayo akusal± het³”ti-±d²su (dha. sa. 1059) m³la½ het³ti vuccati. Ta½ idha adhippeta½. Paccayoti ettha pana aya½ vacanattho– paµicca etasm± et²ti paccayo, appaccakkh±ya na½ vattat²ti attho. Yo hi dhammo ya½ dhamma½ appaccakkh±ya tiµµhati v± uppajjati v±, so tassa paccayoti vutta½ hoti.
Lakkhaºato pana upak±rakalakkhaºo paccayo, yo hi dhammo yassa dhammassa µhitiy± v± uppattiy± v± upak±rako hoti, so tassa paccayoti vuccati. Paccayo, hetu; k±raºa½ nid±na½ sambhavo, pabhavoti atthato eka½, byañjanato n±na½. Iti m³laµµhena hetu, upak±rakaµµhena paccayoti saªkhepato m³laµµhena upak±rako dhammo hetupaccayo. So hi s±li-±d²na½ s±lib²j±d²ni viya, maºippabh±d²na½ viya ca maºivaºº±dayo kusal±d²na½ kusal±dibh±vas±dhakoti ±cariy±na½ adhipp±yo. Eva½ sante pana ta½samuµµh±nar³pesu hetupaccayat± na sampajjati. Na hi so tesa½ kusal±dibh±va½ s±dheti, na ca paccayo na hot²ti. Vuttañheta½ “het³ hetusampayuttak±na½ dhamm±na½ ta½samuµµh±n±nañca r³p±na½ hetupaccayena paccayo”ti. Ahetukacitt±nañca vin± etena aby±katabh±vo siddho.
Sahetuk±nampi ca yonisomanasik±r±dipaµibaddho kusal±dibh±vo na sampayuttahetupaµibaddho. Yadi ca sampayuttahet³su sabh±vatova kusal±dibh±vo siy±, ta½sampayuttesu hetupaµibaddho alobho kusalo v± siy± aby±kato v±. Yasm± pana ubhayath±pi hoti, tasm± yath± sampayuttesu, eva½ het³supi kusal±dit± pariyesitabb±. Kusal±dibh±vas±dhanavasena pana het³na½ m³laµµha½ aggahetv± suppatiµµhitabh±vas±dhanavasena gayham±ne na kiñci virujjhati. Laddhahetupaccay± hi dhamm± viru¼ham³l± viya p±dap± thir± honti suppatiµµhit±, ahetuk± pana tilab²jak±disev±l± viya na suppatiµµhit±. Iti m³laµµhena upak±rakoti suppatiµµhitabh±vas±dhanena upak±rako dhammo hetupaccayoti veditabbo.
Tato paresu ±rammaºavasena upak±rako dhammo ±rammaºapaccayo. So “r³p±yatana½ cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tuy±”ti ±rabhitv±pi “ya½ ya½ dhamma½ ±rabbha ye ye dhamm± uppajjanti cittacetasik± dhamm±, te te dhamm± tesa½ tesa½ dhamm±na½ ±rammaºapaccayena paccayo”ti os±pitatt± na koci dhammo na hoti. Yath± hi dubbalo puriso daº¹a½ v± rajju½ v± ±lambitv±va uµµhahati ceva tiµµhati ca, eva½ cittacetasik± dhamm± r³p±di-±rammaºa½ ±rabbheva uppajjanti ceva tiµµhanti ca. Tasm± sabbepi cittacetasik±na½ dhamm±na½ ±rammaºabh³t± dhamm± ±rammaºapaccayoti veditabb±.
Jeµµhakaµµhena upak±rako dhammo adhipatipaccayo. So sahaj±t±rammaºavasena duvidho. Tattha “chand±dhipati chandasampayuttak±na½ dhamm±na½ ta½samuµµh±n±nañca r³p±na½ adhipatipaccayena paccayo”ti-±divacanato chandav²riyacittav²ma½sasaªkh±t± catt±ro dhamm± sahaj±t±dhipatipaccayoti veditabb±, no ca kho ekato. Yad± hi chanda½ dhura½ jeµµhaka½ katv± citta½ pavattati, tad± chandova adhipati, na itare. Esa nayo sesesupi. Ya½ pana dhamma½ garu½ katv± ar³padhamm± pavattanti, so nesa½ ±rammaº±dhipati. Tena vutta½– “ya½ ya½ dhamma½ garu½ katv± ye ye dhamm± uppajjanti cittacetasik± dhamm±, te te dhamm± tesa½ tesa½ dhamm±na½ adhipatipaccayena paccayo”ti.
Anantarabh±vena upak±rako dhammo anantarapaccayo. Samanantarabh±vena upak±rako dhammo samanantarapaccayo. Idañca paccayadvaya½ bahudh± papañcayanti. Aya½ panettha s±ro– yo hi esa cakkhuviññ±º±nantar± manodh±tu, manodh±tu-anantar± manoviññ±ºadh±t³ti-±di cittaniyamo, so yasm± purimacittavaseneva ijjhati, na aññath±. Tasm± attano attano anantara½ anur³passa cittupp±dassa upp±danasamatthova dhammo anantarapaccayo. Tenev±ha– “anantarapaccayoti cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tu ta½sampayuttak± ca dhamm± manodh±tuy± ta½sampayuttak±nañca dhamm±na½ anantarapaccayena paccayo”ti-±di.
Yo anantarapaccayo, sveva samanantarapaccayo. Byañjanamattameva hettha n±na½, upacayasantati-±d²su viya, adhivacananiruttiduk±d²su viya ca, atthato pana n±na½ natthi. Yampi “addh±nantarat±ya anantarapaccayo, k±l±nantarat±ya samanantarapaccayo”ti ±cariy±na½ mata½ ta½ “nirodh± vuµµhahantassa nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatanakusala½ phalasam±pattiy± samanantarapaccayena paccayo”ti-±d²hi virujjhati. Yampi tattha vadanti– “dhamm±na½ samuµµh±panasamatthat± na parih±yati, bh±van±balena pana v±ritatt± dhamm± samanantara½ nuppajjant²”ti, tampi k±l±nantarat±ya abh±vameva s±dheti. Bh±van±balena hi tattha k±l±nantarat± natth²ti, mayampi etadeva vad±ma. Yasm± ca k±l±nantarat± natthi, tasm± samanantarapaccayat± na yujjati. K±l±nantarat±ya hi tesa½ samanantarapaccayo hot²ti laddhi. Tasm± abhinivesa½ akatv± byañjanamattatovettha n±n±karaºa½ paccetabba½, na atthato. Katha½? Natthi etesa½ antaranti hi anantar±. Saºµh±n±bh±vato suµµhu anantar±ti samanantar±.
Uppajjam±no saha uppajjam±nabh±vena upak±rako dhammo sahaj±tapaccayo, pak±sassa pad²po viya. So ar³pakkhandh±divasena chabbidho hoti. Yath±ha– catt±ro khandh± ar³pino aññamañña½ sahaj±tapaccayena paccayo. Catt±ro mah±bh³t± aññamañña½…pe… okkantikkhaºe n±mar³pa½ aññamañña½…pe… cittacetasik± dhamm± cittasamuµµh±n±na½ r³p±na½…pe… mah±bh³t± up±d±r³p±na½…pe… r³pino dhamm± ar³p²na½ dhamm±na½ kiñcik±le sahaj±tapaccayena paccayo; kiñci k±le na sahaj±tapaccayena paccayoti.
