Tattha tisso saªg²tiyo sandh±ya “s±sana½ nava½ katan”ti ca “atthi koci tath±gatassa s±sana½ nava½ karot²”ti ca “labbh± tath±gatassa s±sana½ nava½ k±tun”ti ca yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi ekacc±na½ uttar±pathak±na½; te sandh±ya t²supi kath±su pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Satipaµµh±n±ti-±di s±sana½ n±ma satipaµµh±n±dayo ceva ariyadhamm±, kusal±d²nañca desan±. Tattha yesa½ bhagavat± desit± satipaµµh±n±dayo, µhapetv± te aññesa½ v± satipaµµh±n±d²na½ karaºena akusal±d²na½ v± kusal±dibh±vakaraºena s±sana½ nava½kata½ n±ma bhaveyya, ki½ ta½ eva½ kata½ kenaci, atthi v± koci eva½ karoti, labbh± v± eva½ k±tunti t²supi pucch±su codanattha½ vutta½. Sesa½ sabbattha yath±p±¼imeva niyy±t²ti.

2. Avivittakath±vaººan±

879-880. Id±ni avivittakath± n±ma hoti. Tattha yassa puggalassa yo dhammo paccuppanno, so tena avivitto n±m±ti ida½ sakasamaye sanniµµh±na½. Yasm± pana puthujjanena tedh±tuk± dhamm± apariññ±t±, tasm± so ekakkhaºeyeva sabbehipi tedh±tukehi dhammehi avivittoti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi tesaññeva, te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Phasseh²ti-±di sabbesa½ phass±d²na½ ekakkhaºe pavattidosadassanattha½ vutta½. Sesa½ sabbattha utt±natthamev±ti.

Avivittakath±vaººan±.

3. Saññojanakath±vaººan±

881-882. Id±ni saññojanakath± n±ma hoti. Tattha yasm± arah± sabba½ buddhavisaya½ na j±n±ti, tasm± tassa tattha avijj±vicikicch±hi appah²n±hi bhavitabbanti saññ±ya “atthi kiñci saññojana½ appah±ya arahattappatt²”ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi mah±saªghik±na½, te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Atthi kiñci sakk±yadiµµh²ti-±di arahato sabbasa½yojanappah±nadassanattha½ vutta½. Sabba½ buddhavisayanti pañhadvaye arahato sabbaññutaññ±º±bh±vena paµisedho kato, na avijj±vicikicch±na½ appah±nena. Itaro pana tesa½ appah²nata½ sandh±ya tena h²ti laddhi½ patiµµhapeti. S± ayoniso patiµµh±pitatt± appatiµµhit±va hot²ti.

4. Iddhikath±vaººan±

883-884. Id±ni iddhikath± n±ma hoti. Tattha iddhi n±mes± katthaci ijjhati, katthaci na ijjhati, anicc±d²na½ nicc±dikaraºe ekanteneva na ijjhati. Sabh±gasantati½ pana parivattetv± visabh±gasantatikaraºe v± sabh±gasantativaseneva ciratarappavattane v± yesa½ atth±ya kariyati, tesa½ puññ±d²ni k±raº±ni niss±ya katthaci ijjhati, bhikkh³na½ atth±ya p±n²yassa sappikh²r±dikaraºe viya mah±dh±tunidh±ne d²p±d²na½ cirasant±nappavattane viya c±ti ida½ sakasamaye sanniµµh±na½. Ya½ pana ±yasm± pilindavaccho rañño p±s±da½ suvaººantveva adhimucci, ta½ niss±ya yesa½ “atthi adhipp±ya-iddh²”ti laddhi, seyyath±pi andhak±na½; te sandh±ya atthi adhipp±ya-iddh²ti pucch± sakav±dissa. Tattha adhipp±ya-iddh²ti adhipp±ya-iddhi, yath±dhipp±ya½ ijjhana-iddh²ti attho. ¾mant±ti laddhimatte µhatv± paµiññ± parav±dissa. Atha na½ anicc±d²na½ nicc±dit±ya anuyuñjitu½ niccapaºº± rukkh± hont³ti-±dim±ha. Sesamettha utt±natthameva. Laddhipatiµµh±pane suvaººo ca pan±s²ti rañño puññ³panissayena ±si, na kevala½ therassa adhipp±yeneva. Tasm± as±dhakametanti.

5. Buddhakath±vaººan±

885. Id±ni buddhakath± n±ma hoti. Tattha µhapetv± tasmi½ tasmi½ k±le sar²ravemattata½ ±yuvemattata½ pabh±vemattatañca sesehi buddhadhammehi buddh±na½ buddhehi h²n±tirekat± n±ma natthi. Yesa½ pana aviseseneva atth²ti laddhi, seyyath±pi andhak±na½; te sandh±ya atthi buddh±nanti pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Atha na½ buddhadhammehi anuyuñjitu½ satipaµµh±natoti-±dim±ha. Itaro tesa½ vasena h²n±tirekata½ apassanto paµikkhipatiyev±ti.

Buddhakath±vaººan±.

6. Sabbadis±kath±vaººan±

886. Id±ni sabbadis±kath± n±ma hoti. Tattha cat³su dis±su heµµh± upar²ti samantato lokadh±tusanniv±sa½, sabbalokadh±t³su ca buddh± atth²ti attano vikappasippa½ upp±detv± “sabbadis±su buddh± tiµµhant²”ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi mah±saªghik±na½; te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Puratthim±y±ti puµµho sakyamuni½ sandh±ya paµikkhipati. Puna puµµho laddhivasena aññalokadh±tuya½ µhita½ sandh±ya paµij±n±ti. Kinn±mo so bhagav±ti-±di “sace tva½ j±n±si, n±m±divasena na½ katheh²”ti codanattha½ vutta½. Imin± up±yena sabbattha attho veditabboti.

Sabbadis±kath±vaººan±.

7. Dhammakath±vaººan±

887-888. Id±ni dhammakath± n±ma hoti. Tattha yasm± r³p±dayo r³p±disabh±vena niyat± na ta½ sabh±va½ vijahanti, tasm± sabbadhamm± niyat±ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi andhak±nañceva ekacc±nañca uttar±pathak±na½; te sandh±ya sabbe dhamm±ti pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Atha na½ “sace te niyat±, micchattaniyat± v± siyu½ sammattaniyat± v±, ito añño niy±mo n±ma natth²”ti codetu½ micchattaniyat±ti-±dim±ha. Tattha paµikkhepo ca paµiññ± ca parav±dissa. R³pa½ r³paµµhen±ti-±di yenatthena niyat±ti vadati, tassa vasena codetu½ vutta½. Tatr±ya½ adhipp±yo– r³pañhi r³paµµhena niyatanti r³pa½ r³pameva, na vedan±disabh±vanti adhipp±yena vattabba½, ito aññath± na vattabba½. Kasm±? R³paµµhato aññassa r³passa abh±v±. R³pasabh±vo hi r³paµµho, r³pasabh±vo ca r³pameva, na r³pato añño. Vedan±d²hi panassa n±nattapaññ±panattha½ esa voh±ro hot²ti. Tasm± “r³pa½ r³paµµhena niyatan”ti vadantena r³pa½ niyatanti vutta½ hoti. Niyatañca n±ma micchattaniyata½ v± siy± sammattaniyata½ v±, ito añño niy±mo n±ma natth²ti. Atha kasm± paµij±n±t²ti? Atthantaravasena. R³pa½ r³paµµhena niyatanti ettha hi r³pa½ r³pameva, na vedan±disabh±vanti ayamattho. Tasm± paµij±n±ti. Ito aññath± panassa niyatatta½ natth²ti puna teneva nayena codetu½ micchattaniyatanti-±dim±ha Ta½ sabba½ utt±natthameva. Tena hi r³panti laddhipi ayoniso patiµµh±pitatt± appatiµµhit±va hot²ti.

8. Kammakath±vaººan±

889-891. Id±ni kammakath± n±ma hoti. Tattha “yasm± diµµhadhammavedan²y±d²ni diµµhadhammavedan²yaµµh±d²hi niyat±ni, tasm± sabbe kamm± niyat±”ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi tesaññeva; te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Diµµhadhammavedan²yaµµhena niyatanti ettha diµµhadhammavedan²ya½ diµµhadhammavedan²yaµµhameva. Sace diµµheva dhamme vip±ka½ d±tu½ sakkoti deti, no ce ahosikamma½ n±ma hot²ti imamattha½ sandh±ya paµiññ± sakav±dissa. Micchattasammattaniy±mavasena paneta½ aniyatamev±ti sabba½ heµµh± vuttanayeneva veditabbanti.
