Abhidh±nañca pana imin±va dassita½ tena atth±nugatasamaññ±parid²panato. Sam±tikanti imin± karaºappak±ro, khuddasikkhanti imin± ca, tena khuddabh³t±na½ sikkh±na½ idha dassetabbabh±vappak±sanato. ¾dito upasampanna sikkhitabbanti imin± payojanapayojana½ pana imin±va s±matthiyato dassitameva, t±sa½ sikkhitabbappak±sanena hi sikkhane sati tamm³lik±ya diµµhadhammikasampar±yikatthanipphattiy± sa½sijjhanato. Pakaraºappayojan±na½ s±dhanas±dhiyalakkhaºo sambandho tannissayadassaneneva dassitoyev±ti ayamettha samud±yattho.

Sikkhitabb±ti sikkh±, adhis²la-adhicitta-adhipaññ±vasena tisso sikkh±. Sikkhanañcettha yath±kkama½ s²l±didhamm±na½ sa½varaºavasena, ek±rammaºe cittacetasik±na½ sam±dh±navasena, ±rammaºaj±nanalakkhaºappaµivedhamaggap±tubh±vap±panavasena ca ±sevana½ daµµhabba½. Aññattha bahuvidh± sikkh±, idha tu saªkhepanayatt± appak±di-anekatthasambhavepi khudda-saddassa appakatthovettha yuttataroti khudd± appak± sikkh±ti khuddasikkh±. Idha pana khuddasikkh±ppak±sako gantho tabboh±r³pac±rato itthiliªgavasena “khuddasikkh±”ti vuccati yath± “varuº±nagaran”ti. Ta½ khuddasikkha½. Pavakkh±m²ti kathess±mi.
K²disanti ±ha “±dito upasampannasikkhitabban”ti-±di. ¾di-saddoyamatthi avayavavacano yath± “sabb±d²ni sabban±m±n²”ti. Atthi ap±d±navacano yath± “pabbat±d²ni khett±n²”ti. Tatth±vayavav±c² kammas±dhano “±diyat²ty±d²”ti. Itaro ap±d±nas±dhano “±diyati etasm±ty±d²”ti Tattha yo avayavavacano, tasseda½ gahaºa½, tasm± upasampannakkhaºampi anto katv± ±dibh³t± upasampannakkhaºatoyeva paµµh±y±ti evamettha attho daµµhabbo. Eva-saddo panettha sabbav±ky±na½ avadh±raºaphalatt± labbhati. To-paccayo avadhimhiyeva na ±dh±re. Tattha hi topaccaye ±dh±re vattam±ne ±dimhiyeva majjha-ant±na½ avayavabh³te upasampannakkhaºeyev±ti attho bhaveyya, tath± sati avadh±raºanicchayo niyamoti atthantaratt± ±dikkhaºaniyamena majjh±dayo nivattiyeyyu½. Ap±d±navacanass±pi gahaºe avadhibh³to upasampannakkhaºo nivattiyeyya “pabbat±d²ni khett±n²”ti ettha ±dibh³tapabbataparicc±gena khettaggahaºa½ viy±ti daµµhabba½. ݲk±ya½ pana ±dh±ratthopi vutto, so yath±vuttadosa½ n±tigacchati. Sabbattha “µ²k±yan”ti ca vutte ettheva pur±ºaµ²k±yanti gahetabba½. ¾ditoti imin± ida½ d²peti– atidullabha½ khaºasamav±ya½ labhitv± ±lasiyadosena appaµipajjantehi ca aññ±ºadosena aññath± paµipajjantehi ca ahutv± ±dito paµµh±ya nirantarameva t²su sikkh±su samm±paµipajjanavasena ±daro janetabboti.
Upasampannena upasampann±ya ca sikkhitabba½ ±sevitabbanti upasampannasikkhitabba½, ekasesanayena upasampannat±s±maññena v± upasampann±yapi etthev±virodhoti upasampannena sikkhitabbanti sam±so. Nanu adhis²l±dayova sikkhitabb±, eva½ sati katha½ pakaraºa½ sikkhitabbattena vuttanti? N±ya½ doso, sikkh±ya sikkhitabbatte sati tadd²pakaganthass±pi ±sevitabbat± ±pajjat²ti. Sukhaggahaºattha½ vattabbavinicchaya½ sakalampi saªgahetv± m±tik±ya µhapanato saha m±tik±y±ti sam±tika½.
