Upajjh±yo pakkanto v± hoti vibbhanto v± k±lakato v± pakkhasaªkanto v± ±ºattiyeva pañcam²”ti (mah±va. 83), “chayim±, bhikkhave, nissayappaµippassaddhiyo ±cariyamh±. ¾cariyo pakkanto v± hoti vibbhanto v± k±lakato v± pakkhasaªkanto v± ±ºattiyeva pañcam², upajjh±yena v± samodh±nagato hot²”ti ida½ pana ubhaya½ idha dassita½. Nissayaggahaºappaµippassaddh²na½ upac±ras²m±ya paricchinnatt±. Le¹¹up±tena upac±ras²m±paricchedo pana aparikkhittesu eva labbhati, na parikkhittesu. Tasm± ±cariy±na½ vinicchayeva µh±tabba½.
Pakkanteti ettha (mah±va. aµµha. 83) sace ±cariyo antev±sika½ an±mantetv±va upac±ras²ma½ atikkamati, nissayo paµippassambhati. Sace upac±ras²ma½ anatikkamitv±va nivattati, na paµippassambhati. ¾cariya½ an±mantetv± antev±sikassa gamanepi eseva nayo. Sace ±cariyo katthaci gantuk±mo antev±sika½ ±pucchati, antev±sikopi “s±dhu s±dh³”ti sampaµicchati, taªkhaºe eva paµippassambhati. Eva½ ±cariya½ ±pucchitv± antev±sikassa gamanepi. Dv²supi antovih±reyeva µhitesu ±cariyo v± antev±sika½, antev±siko v± ±cariya½ an±pucchitv±va sace dve le¹¹up±te atikkamati, paµippassambhati. Pakkhasaªkante v± vibbhante v± k±lakate v± taªkhaºeyeva paµippassambhati ¾ºatti n±ma nissayappaº±man±. Dassanasavanavasena duvidha½ samodh±na½.

Sallakkhentena ph±sukanti ph±suvih±ra½ sallakkhentena. Ida½ pana parih±ra½ (mah±va. aµµha. 121) sot±pann±di-ariyas±vako v± th±magatasamathavipassan±l±bh² v± b±laputhujjano v± na labhati. Yassa kho pana samathavipassan± taruº± hoti, na th±magat±, aya½ labhati. Asante nissayad±yake “yad± paµir³po nissayad±yako ±gacchissati, tad± tassa niss±ya vasiss±m²”ti ±bhoga½ katv± y±va ±s±¼h²puººam±, t±va vasitu½ labhati. Sace pana ±s±¼h²m±se nissayad±yaka½ na labhati, yattha atthi, tattha gantabba½. Antovasse pana anissitena vatthu½ na vaµµati. Sabh±ge d±yake asante vasitu½ labbhat²ti sabbapadesu yojan± k±tabb±. Nissayavinicchayo.
