77. Bhaµµhadhaññamayoti sattavidh±nipi dhaññ±ni gahetv± kharap±kabhajjit±na½ tesa½ taº¹ule koµµetv± katacuººakuº¹ak±ni sattu n±ma. Samap±kabhajjit±na½ pana ±tapasukkh±na½ v± taº¹ul±na½ cuººakuº¹ak±ni sattusaªkhya½ na gacchanti. Yavasambhavoti aññehi pana mugg±d²hi katakumm±so na pav±ret²ti adhipp±yo. Udakasambhavoti imin± kakkaµakasippikasambuk±dayopi saªgaha½ gacchanti. Sace y±gup±nak±le ekasmi½ bh±jane µhapetv± macchama½sa½ v± kh±danti, te ce akh±danto añña½ pav±raºappahonaka½ paµikkhipati, na pav±reti. Kh±ditepi sace mukhe avasiµµha½ natthi, tad± paµikkhipantopi na pav±retiyeva. Sace patte avasiµµha½ atthi, mukhe natthi, tañce akh±dituk±mo hoti, aññattha v± gantv± kh±dituk±mo, tasmi½ khaºe paµikkhipantopi na pav±retiyeva.
78. Bhojananti (p±ci. aµµha. 238-239) pañcasu bhojanesu ya½ kiñci bhojana½. Kappiya½ v± akappiya½ v± bhuñjantoti sambandho. Nisedhayanti k±yen±bhihaµa½ aªgulicalan±din± v± bhamukavik±rena v± kuddhabh±vena olokena v± paµikkhipanto k±yena v± “alan”ti v± “na gaºh±m²”ti v± “m± ±kir±”ti v± “apagacch±”ti v± ±din± nayena paµikkhipanto v±c±ya v± nisedhayantoti attho. Kappanti kappiyabhojanameva paµikkhipanto so pav±reti, akappiyama½sa½ v± bhojana½ v± paµikkhipanto na pav±reti. Kasm±? Tassa paµikkhipitabbaµµh±ne µhitatt±. Macchama½sap³vesu pana pav±raº± hoti, tasm± “suddhakhajjako”ti vutta½. Bhaµµhapiµµhanti pubbe ±maka½ pacch± bhajjitabbanti vutta½ hoti. Ve¼u-±d²na½ vutt±vases±na½ bhattanti sambandho. Rasay±gu raso pakkay±gu. Ma½s±d²hi amissit± suddhay±gu. Puthuk±maya½ pana ya½ kiñci pav±raºa½ na janeti.
81. Vuµµh±y±ti (p±ci. aµµha. 238-239) ±san± uµµh±ya atiritta½ na k±tabbanti sambandho. Sace pav±retv± ±san± na vuµµh±ti bhikkhu, tass±pi atiritta½ k±tu½ labhati. Abhuttena ca bhojananti yena pañcanna½ bhojan±na½ aññatara½ bhojana½ antamaso kusaggen±pi na bhutta½, ten±pi atiritta½ na k±tabbanti attho. Yena pana aruºuggamepi bhutta½ hoti, so ce apav±rito ±san± vuµµhitopi majjhanhikasamayepi puna kiñci abhutv±pi k±tu½ labhati. Yena ya½ v± pure katanti yena ya½ v± pubbe kata½, tena tampi pacch± na k±tabba½. Aññena pana ta½ k±tu½ vaµµat²ti vadanti.

Ya½ phala½ v± kandam³la½ v± pañcahi samaºakappehi katakappiya½ aññampi kappiyabhojana½ v± kappiyama½sa½ v±, ida½ kappiya½ n±ma, vuttappak±ravipar²ta½ akappiya½ n±ma, tasmi½ atirittakaraºa½ na ruhati, yañca paµiggahetv± na gahita½, tasmimpi na ruhati, tena vutta½ “kappiya½ gahitañcev±”ti.
