Imehi kho, bhikkhave, pañcahi aªgehi samann±gatena bhikkhun± anissitena vatthabban”ti (mah±va. 103) eva½ vuttabyatto ca bahussutabyatto ca veditabbo.

Na khamanti ce, ±cariyupajjh±y±na½ sabh±g±na½ santike vasitabba½. Yena kenaci k±raºena na sakk± hoti tatra ±cariyupajjh±y±na½ sabh±g±na½ santike vasitu½, ta½yeva vih±ra½ ±gantv± aññassa santike nissaya½ gahetv± vasitabba½. Tattha “pañcahi, bhikkhave, aªgehi samann±gata½ saddhivih±rika½ appaº±mento upajjh±yo s±tis±ro hoti, paº±mento anatis±ro hoti. Upajjh±yamhi n±dhimatta½ pema½ hoti, n±dhimatto pas±do hoti, n±dhimatt± hir² hoti, n±dhimatto g±ravo hoti, n±dhimatt± bh±van± hoti. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, pañcahaªgehi…pe… hoti (mah±va. 68). Sace “ok±se alabhante pacc³sasamaye gahess±m²”ti sayati, aruºa½ uggatampi na j±n±ti, an±patti. Laddhaparih±ren±pi vasitu½ vaµµat²ti.

234. “Labbhat²”ti kammani nipphannatt± avuttakatt±ti “addhikass±”ti-±d²su kattari s±mivacana½, “addhiken±” ti-±di vutta½ hoti. “Sallakkhenten±”ti pana sar³peneva niddiµµha½. Vasitunti vuttakamma½. Bh±ve hi tu½-paccayo, v±soti attho. Y±citass±ti “gil±nupaµµh±kassa c±”ti ettha visesana½. Sace pana “y±c±hi man”ti vuccam±nopi gil±no m±nena na y±cati, gantabba½. Araññe v± sallakkhentena ph±sukanti yattha vasantassa paµiladdhataruºasamathavipassan±visesabh±git±vasena ph±su hoti, tasmi½ araññe t±disa½ ph±suvih±ra½ sallakkhentena ±raññakena. Amh±ka½ pana keci antev±sikatther± “na bhikkhave vassa½ na upagantabba½. Yo na upagaccheyya, ±patti dukkaµass±’ti (mah±va. 186) ca ‘na bhikkhave tadahu vass³pan±yik±ya vassa½ anupagantuk±mena sañcicca ±v±so atikkamitabbo. Yo atikkameyya, ±patti dukkaµass±’ti (mah±va. 186) p±¼ivacanato kenaci k±raºena nissaya½ alabham±nenapi na sakk± antovasse vassa½ anupagantu½. ‘Antovasse pan±’ti-±d²su pana ca-saddo anv±cayattho, tasm± ten±pi vassa½ upagantabbamev±”ti vadi½su.
Maya½ panettha evamavocumha “bhagavat± anupagamane dukkaµa½ anantar±yikasseva vutta½, teneva ‘kenaci antar±yena purimika½ anupagatena pacchimik± upagantabb±’ti aµµhakath±ya½ (mah±va. aµµha. 185) vutta½. Ya½ pana anissaya½, ta½ anantar±ya½ nissayamuttakassa vass³pagamana½ viya. Apica n±v±ya gacchantassa pana vass±ne ±gatepi nissaya½ alabhantassa an±patt²ti n±v±ya gacchatoyeva ±veºik± an±pattikat± vutt±. Tasm± nissay±l±bho b±dhakappaccayo vass³pagamanassa, na vass³pagamana½ nissayass±ti antar±yoyeva nissay±l±bho. Tatoyeva µ²k±ya½ ‘antovasse pana anissitena vatthu½ na vaµµat²’ti vutta½.
