Tasm± agil±no gil±nasaññ²pi hutv± pañca bhesajj±ni viññ±pento nabhesajjakaraº²yena bhesajja½ viññ±pento n±ma hot²ti “mah±n±masikkh±padena k±retabbo”ti vutta½.

Yo pana nabhesajjatth±ya viññ±peti, atha kho kevala½ attano bhuñjanatth±ya, so s³podanaviññattiy±yeva k±retabbo. Vuttañheta½ samantap±s±dik±ya½ “suddh±ni sappi-±d²ni viññ±petv± bhuñjanto p±cittiya½ n±pajjati sekhiyesu s³podanaviññattidukkaµa½ ±pajjat²”ti (p±ci. aµµha. 259). S³podanaviññattiy± k±retabboti “na s³pa½ v± odana½ v± agil±no”ti-±din± (p±ci. 613) sikkh±padena k±retabbo, dukkaµena k±retabboti vutta½ hoti. Imin±ti imin± paº²tabhojanasikkh±padena.
“Sappibhatta½ deh²”ti vutte ki½ hot²ti ±ha “sappibhatta½ ‘deh²’ti vutte pan±”ti-±di. S³podanaviññattiy± dukkaµameva hot²ti sambandho. Kasm±ti ±ha “yasm±”ti-±di. Atha yath± “paº²tabhojan±n²”ti, eva½ “sappibhattan”ti idampi kasm± na viññ±yat²ti ce? Anekantikatt±. Tath± hi “paº²tabhojan±n²”ti vutte “paº²tasa½saµµh±ni bhojan±ni paº²tabhojan±n²”ti ayamattho ekantato paññ±yati, “sappibhattan”ti vutte pana “sappimaya½ bhatta½ sappibhattan”tipi viññ±yam±natt± ‘sappisa½saµµha½ bhatta½ sappibhattan”ti ayamattho na ekantato paññ±yati. Esa nayo “navan²tabhatta½ deh²”ti-±d²supi.
Purimanayenev±ti “bhatta½ datv± sappi½ katv± bhuñj±”ti purimeneva nayena. Sace pana “sappin±”ti vutte kevala½ sesesu navan²t±d²su aññatarena deti, visaªketameva hoti. An±patt²ti visaªketatt± sabb±hiyeva ±patt²hi an±patti. “Kiñc±pi an±patti, attano pana payogena nibbattatt± na bhuñjitabban”ti vadanti. Kappiyasappin±ti kappiyama½sasappin±. Esa nayo akappiyasappin±ti etth±pi. Kappiy±kappiyat± hi ma½s±na½yeva, na sappi-±d²na½. Ýhapetv± eka½ manussavas±tela½ sabbesa½ kh²radadhisappinavan²tavas±telesu akappiya½ n±ma natthi.
Paribhogepi dukkaµameva idha anadhippetatt±ti adhipp±yo. Sace asati akappiyasappimhi purimanayeneva akappiyanavan²t±d²ni deti “sappi½ katv± bhuñj±”ti, akappiyasappin±va dinna½ hoti. Yath± ca “kappiyasappin± deh²”ti vutte akappiyasappin± deti, visaªketa½, eva½ “‘akappiyasappin±’ti vutte kappiyasappin± det²”ti etth±pi paµip±µiy± ekameka½ vitth±retv± vuccam±nepi ayamevattho vattabbo siy±, so ca saªkhepenapi sakk± viññ±tunti vitth±ranaya½ hitv± imin±va nayena sabbapadesu vinicchayo veditabboti vutta½. Ayañhettha saªkhepattho– yena yena viññatti hoti, tasmi½ v± tassa m³le v± laddhe ta½ ta½ laddhameva hoti. Sace pana añña½ p±¼iy± ±gata½ v± an±gata½ v± deti, visaªketanti. N±n±µµh±ne v±ti tasmi½yeva ghare sappi½, itarasmi½ navan²tanti-±din± n±n±µµh±ne v±.
