Yadi eva½ atha kasm± p±¼iya½ “gaºabhojana½ n±ma yattha catt±ro bhikkh³ pañcanna½ bhojan±na½ aññatarena bhojanena nimantit± bhuñjanti, eta½ gaºabhojana½ n±m±”ti (p±ci. 218) vutta½? Ta½ paµiggahaºaniyamanatthameva Na hi appaµiggahitaka½ bhikkh³ bhuñjant²ti “bhuñjant²”ti pada½ paµiggahaºaniyamavacana½ hoti. Na sakk± piº¹±ya caritunti v±lik±ya v± sakkhar±ya v± phuµµhamatte dukkhuppattito antog±me piº¹±ya caritu½ na sakkoti. C²vare kariyam±neti s±µakañca suttañca labhitv± c²vare kariyam±ne. Yo pana d³ra½ gantuk±mo, tattha vattabbameva natthi, gacchanto addhayojanabbhantare g±vutepi bhuñjitu½ labhati, gato pana ekadivasa½. Yad± n±va½ abhiruhituk±mo v± hoti ±ru¼ho v± oru¼ho v±, aya½ n±v±bhiruhanasamayo n±m±ti ±ha “n±v±bhiruhanasamayepi eseva nayo”ti. Aya½ pana viseso– abhiru¼hena icchitaµµh±na½ gantv±pi y±va na orohati, t±va bhuñjitabba½. Catt±ro bhikkh³ti antimaparicchedo. Yattha pana sata½ v± sahassa½ v± sannipatita½, tattha vattabbameva natthi. Tasm± t±dise k±le “mah±samayo”ti adhiµµhahitv± bhuñjitabba½. Yo koci pabbajitoti sahadhammikesu v± titthiyesu v± aññataro.
Ye ca dve tayo ekato gaºhant²ti yepi akappiyanimantana½ s±diyitv± dve v± tayo v± ekato gaºhanti, tesampi an±patti. Paº²tabhojanas³podanaviññatt²hi pana ±pattiyev±ti vadanti, upaparikkhitabba½. Niccabhatt±d²s³ti niccabhatte sal±kabhatte pakkhike uposathike p±µipadike. Tattha niccabhattanti dhuvabhatta½ vuccati. “Niccabhatta½ gaºhath±”ti vadanti bah³nampi ekato gaºhitu½ vaµµati. Sal±kabhatt±d²supi eseva nayo.
