Tasm±ti yasm± manuss± etasmi½yevaete bhuńjant²ti uttiµµhapatte ucchiµµhasańńino, tasm± uttiµµhapattanti vutta½ uttiµµha-saddenevamanuss±na½ sańń±ya ucchiµµhat±pi gammat²ti. Keci pana “ucchiµµhasaddena sam±nattho uttiµµhasaddo”tivadanti. “Uttiµµh±”ti tv±paccayantopi hot²ti ±ha “uµµhahitv±”ti. Upajjh±ya½gahetunti upajjh±yatta½ manas± gahetu½, y±canavacanena tassa anumati½ gahetuntiv± attho.

Pariveŗa½ gantv±ti upajjh±yassa pariveŗa½gantv±. “Na sus±nan”ti ida½ upalakkhaŗa½, upac±ras²mato bahi gantuk±menaan±pucch± gantu½ na vaµµati.
