S±pi duvidh±sapuggal±puggalaniddesabhedato. Tattha yass± paññattiy± anto ±pattiy± saha, vin± v±puggalo dassito, s± sapuggalaniddes±. Itar± apuggalaniddes±ti veditabb±. Tattha “yebhuyyena kh±yita½ ±patti thullaccayass±”ti (p±r±. 61) evam±dik±padabh±janiye sandissam±n±patti padabh±janasikkh±pada½ n±ma. “Na tveva naggena ±gantabba½,yo ±gaccheyya, ±patti dukkaµass±”ti-±dik± (p±r±. 517) antar±pattisikkh±pada½n±ma. “Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, div± paµisall²yantena dv±ra½ sa½varitv± paµisall²yitun”ti(p±r±. 75) evam±dik± vin²tavatthusikkh±pada½ n±ma. “Lohitupp±dako, bhikkhave,anupasampanno na upasamp±detabbo, upasampanno n±setabbo”ti (mah±va. 114) evam±dik±paµikkhepasikkh±pada½ n±ma. Ekacce±cariy± eva½ kira vaººayanti “catt±ro p±r±jik± kativass±bhisambuddhena bhagavat±paññatt±ti-±din± puccha½ katv± tesu paµhamap±r±jiko ves±liya½ paññattopañcavass±bhisambuddhena hemant±na½ paµhame m±se dutiye pakkhe dasame divase a¹¹hateyyaporis±yach±y±ya puratth±bhimukhena nisinnena a¹¹hateras±na½ bhikkhusat±na½ majjhe sudinna½ kalandaputta½±rabbha paññatto”ti, ta½ na yujjati, kasm±?–

Ya½ pana vutta½ “atha bhagav± ajjh±c±ra½ apassanto p±r±jika½ v± saªgh±disesa½ v± na paññapes²”ti,ta½ sakalasikkh±pada½ sandh±y±ha. Na kevala½ sa-uddesasikkh±padamatta½, tena sa-uddes±nuddesapaññattibheda½sakala½ p±r±jika½ sandh±y±h±ti vutta½ hoti. Kiñc±pi n±bhipar±masanampi k±yasa½saggo,tath±pi eta½ visesaniyamanato, acchandar±g±dhipp±yato ca visu½ vutta½. Chandar±garattassevahi k±yasa½saggo idh±dhippeto. Asucip±ne pana hatthiniy± t±pasapass±vap±nena v±lak±byon±ma uppajjati, v±lak±byassa vatthu vattabba½. Maº¹abyassa n±bhiy± par±masaneneva kira.R³padassane pana vejjak± ±hu–
“Th²na½ sandassan± sukka½, kad±ci calitovare;

39. Kal²ti kodho, tassa s±sana½ kalis±sana½, kalaho. G±madhammantiettha janapadadhamma½ janapadav±s²na½ siddhi½. Att±ti citta½, sar²rañca. Asuttantavinibaddhantivinayasutte an±gata½, sutt±bhidhammesupi an±gata½, p±¼ivinimuttanti attho.Kusumam±lanti n±n±guºa½ sandh±y±ha. Ratanad±manti atthasampatti½ sandh±ya vadati.Paµikkhipan±dhipp±y± bhadd±li viya. Padaniruttibyañjan±ni n±mavevacan±neva “n±ma½n±makamma½ n±madheyya½ nirutt²”ti-±d²su (dha. sa. 1315) viya. Saªghasuµµhut±y±ti ettha lokavajjassapaññ±pane saªghasuµµhut± hoti p±kaµ±d²navato. Paññattivajjassa paññ±pane saªghaph±sut± hotip±kaµ±nisa½satt±. Tattha paµhamena dummaªk³na½ niggaho, dutiyena pesal±na½ ph±suvih±ro.Paµhamena sampar±yik±na½ ±sav±na½ paµigh±to, dutiyena diµµhadhammik±na½. Tath± paµhamenaappasann±na½ pas±do, dutiyena pasann±na½ bhiyyobh±vo. “Pubbe katapuññat±ya codiyam±nassabhabbakulaputtass±”ti vuttatt± “sudinno ta½ kukkucca½ vinodetv± arahatta½sacch±k±si, teneva pabbajj± anuññ±t±”ti vadanti, upaparikkhitabba½. Ya½ saªghasuµµhu, ta½ saªghaph±s³ti ekamiva vutta½saªghasuµµhut±ya sati saªghaph±su bhavissat²ti d²panattha½. Pakar²yanti ettha te te payojanavisesasaªkh±t±atthavas±ti atthavasa½ “pakaraºan”ti vuccati. Dasasu padesu ekeka½ m³la½ katv±dasakkhattu½ yojan±ya padasata½ vutta½. Tattha pacchimassa padassa vasena atthasata½ purimassavasena dhammasata½ atthajotik±na½ nirutt²na½ vasena niruttisata½, dhammabh³t±na½ nirutt²na½vasena niruttisatanti dve niruttisat±ni, atthasate ñ±ºasata½, dhammasate ñ±ºasata½ dv²suniruttisatesu dve ñ±ºasat±n²ti catt±ri ñ±ºasat±ni veditabb±ni. Methuna½ dhammanti eva½ bahulanayena laddhan±maka½ sakasampayogena, parasampayogena v± attanonimittassa sakamagge v± paramagge v± paranimittassa sakamagge eva pavesapaviµµhaµhituddharaºesuya½ kiñci eka½ paµis±diyanavasena seveyya p±r±jiko hoti asa½v±soti. Kecipana “paves±d²ni catt±ri v± t²ºi v± dve v± eka½ v± paµiseveyya, p±r±jikohoti. Vuttañheta½ ‘so ce pavesana½ s±diyati, paviµµha½, µhita½, uddharaºa½ s±diyati,±patti p±r±jikass±’ti-±d²”ti (p±r±. 59) vadanti, tesa½ matena cat³supi catassop±r±jik±pattiyo ±pajjati. Vuµµh±nadesan±hi pana asujjhanato‘payoge payoge ±patti p±r±jikass±’ti na vutta½ gaºanapayojan±bh±vato. Kiñc±pina vutta½, atha kho padabh±jane ‘±patti p±r±jikass±’ti vacanen±yamattho siddho”tiyuttiñca vadanti. Yadi eva½ m±tik±yampi “yo pana bhikkhu methuna½ dhamma½paµiseveyya p±r±jikan”ti vattabba½ bhaveyya, p±r±jikassa anavasesavacanampi na yujjeyya.Sabbepi hi ±pattikkhandhe bhikkhugaºanañca anavasesetv± tiµµhat²ti anavasesavacanantikatv± paveseva ±patti, na paviµµh±d²su, tameveka½ sandh±ya “yassa siy± ±patt²”tip±r±jik±pattimpi anto katv± nid±nuddese vacana½ veditabba½. Tasm± m±tik±ya½“p±r±jikan”ti avatv± “p±r±jiko hot²”ti puggalaniddesavacana½ tena sar²rabandhanenaupasampad±ya abhabbabh±vad²panattha½. “¾patti p±r±jikass±”ti padabh±jane vacana½antimavatthu½ ajjh±pannass±pi p±r±jikassa asa½v±sassa sato puggalassa atheyyasa½v±sakabh±vad²panattha½.Na hi so sa½v±sa½ s±diyantopi theyyasa½v±sako hoti, tasm± “upasampanno bhikkhu”tvevavuccati. Tenev±ha “asuddho hoti puggalo aññatara½ p±r±jika½ dhamma½ ajjh±panno,tañce suddhadiµµhi sam±no anok±sa½ k±r±petv± akkos±dhipp±yo vadeti, ±pattiomasav±dena dukkaµass±”ti (p±r±. 389). Anupasampannassa tadabh±vato siddho so “upasampannobhikkhu”tveva vuccat²ti. Tena padasodhamma½ sahaseyyañca na janeti, bhikkhupesuññ±diñcajanet²ti veditabba½.
