“Na, bhikkhave, ±cariyesu ±cariyamattesu upajjh±yesu upajjh±yamattesu anup±hanesu caŖkamam±nesu sa-up±hanena caŖkamitabba½, yo caŖkameyya, ±patti dukkaµass±”ti (mah±va. 248)– vacanato ±cariy±d²su anup±hanesu caŖkamantesu sa-up±hanena na caŖkamitabba½. Ettha (mah±va. aµµha. 248) ca pabbajj±cariyo upasampad±cariyo nissay±cariyo uddes±cariyoti ime catt±ropi idha ±cariy± eva. Avassikassa chabbasso ±cariyamatto. Upajjh±yassa sandiµµhasambhatt± pana sah±yabhikkh³, ye v± pana keci dasavassehi mahantatar±, te sabbepi upajjh±yamatt± n±ma. Ettakesu bhikkh³su anup±hanesu caŖkamantesu sa-up±hanassa caŖkamato ±patti.
“Na bhikkhave, mah±camm±ni dh±retabb±ni s²hacamma½ byagghacamma½ d²picamma½, yo dh±reyya, ±patti dukkaµassa”. “Na, bhikkhave, gocamma½ dh±retabba½, yo dh±reyya, ±patti dukkaµassa”. “Na, bhikkhave, kińci camma½ dh±retabba½, yo dh±reyya, ±pattidukkaµass±”ti (mah±va. 255)– vacanato majjhimadese s²hacamm±di ya½ kińci camma½ gahetv± pariharitu½ na vaµµati. S²hacamm±d²nańca pariharaŗeyeva paµikkhepo kato. Bh³mattharaŗavasena pana ańńattha an²harantena ya½ kińci camma½ paribhuńjitu½ vaµµati.
“Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, sabbapaccantimesu janapadesu camm±ni attharaŗ±ni e¼akacamma½ ajacamma½ migacamman”ti (mah±va. 259) vacanako pana paccantimesu janapadesu ya½ kińci (mah±va. aµµha. 259) e¼akacammańca ajacammańca attharitv± nipajjitu½ v± nis²ditu½ v± vaµµati. “Na, bhikkhave, y±nena y±yitabba½, yo y±yeyya, ±patti dukkaµassa. Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, gil±nassa y±nan”ti (mah±va. 253) vacanato agil±nena bhikkhun± y±nena na gantabba½. Katara½ pana y±na½ kappati, katara½ na kappat²ti? “Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, purisayutta½ hatthavaµµaka½. Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, sivika½ p±µaŖkin”ti (mah±va. 253) vacanato purisayutta½ hatthavaµµaka½ sivik± p±µaŖk² ca vaµµati. “Na, bhikkhave, potthako niv±setabbo, yo niv±seyya, ±patti dukkaµassa. Na, bhikkhave, sabban²lak±ni c²var±ni dh±retabb±ni… na sabbap²tak±ni… na sabbalohitak±ni… na sabbamańjiµµhak±ni… na sabbakaŗh±ni… na sabbamah±raŖgaratt±ni… na sabbamah±n±maratt±ni… na acchinnadas±ni… na d²ghadas±ni… na pupphadas±ni… na phaladas±ni c²var±ni dh±retabb±ni… na kańcuka½… na tir²µaka½… na veµhana½ dh±retabba½, yo dh±reyya, ±patti dukkaµass±”ti (mah±va. 371-372)– vacanato potthak±d²ni na dh±retabb±ni. 58. “Na, bhikkhave, adhammakamma½ k±tabba½, yo kareyya, ±patti dukkaµassa. Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, adhammakamme kayiram±ne paµikkositun”ti (mah±va. 154) vacanato adhammakamma½ na k±tabba½, kayiram±nańca niv±retabba½. Niv±rentehi ca “anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, cat³hi pańcahi paµikkositu½, dv²hi t²hi diµµhi½ ±vik±tu½, ekena adhiµµh±tu½ ‘na meta½ khamat²”ti (mah±va. 154) vacanato yattha niv±rentassa bhikkhuno upaddava½ karonti, tattha ekakena na niv±retabba½. 59. “Na, bhikkhave, anok±sakato bhikkhu ±pattiy± codetabbo, yo codeyya, ±patti dukkaµass±”ti (mah±va. 153) vacanato codentena “karotu me ±yasm± ok±sa½, aha½ ta½ vattuk±mo”ti eva½ ok±sa½ k±r±petv± codetabbo. Adhipp±yabhedo panettha veditabbo (mah±va. aµµha. 2.389). Asammukh± pana sattahipi ±pattikkhandhehi vadantassa dukkaµa½, asammukh± eva sattavidhampi kamma½ karontassa dukkaµameva. Kurundiya½ pana “vuµµh±n±dhipp±yena ‘tva½ ima½ n±ma ±patti½ ±panno, ta½ paµikaroh²’ti vadantassa ok±sakicca½ natth²”ti vutta½. Uposathapav±raŗa½ µhapentassapi ok±sakamma½ natthi, µhapanakhetta½ pana j±nitabba½ “suŗ±tu me, bhante, saŖgho, ajjuposatho pannaraso, yadi saŖghassa pattakalla½, saŖgho uposatha½ kare”ti.
Etasmińhi re-k±re anatikkanteyeva µhapetu½ labbhati, tato para½ pana yya-k±re patte na labbhati. Esa nayo pav±raŗ±ya.
Anuvijjakassapi osaµe vatthusmi½ “attheta½ tav±”ti anuvijjan±dhipp±yena vadantassa ok±sakamma½ natthi. Dhammakathikassapi dhamm±sane nis²ditv± “yo idańcidańca karoti, aya½ bhikkhu assamaŗo”ti-±din± nayena anodissa dhamma½ kathentassa ok±sakamma½ natthi. Sace pana odissa niyametv± “asuko ca asuko ca assamaŗo anup±sako”ti katheti, dhamm±sanato orohitv± ±patti½ desetv± gantabba½. “Na, bhikkhave, suddh±na½ bhikkh³na½ an±pattik±na½ avatthusmi½ ak±raŗe ok±so k±r±petabbo, yo k±r±peyya, ±patti dukkaµass±”ti (mah±va. 153) vacanato suddh±na½ bhikkh³na½ ak±raŗe vatthusmi½ ok±so na k±retabbo. “Anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, puggala½ tulayitv± ok±sa½ k±tun”ti (mah±va. 153) vacanato “bh³tameva nu kho ±patti½ vadati, abh³tan”ti eva½ upaparikkhitv± ok±so k±tabbo.
60. “Na, bhikkhave, saddh±deyya½ vinip±tetabba½, yo vinip±teyya, ±patti dukkaµass±”ti (mah±va. 361) vacanato saddh±deyya½ na vinip±tetabba½. Żhapetv± m±t±pitaro (mah±va. aµµha. 361) sesań±t²na½ dentopi vinip±tetiyeva, m±t±pitaro pana rajje µhit±pi patthayanti, d±tabba½.

62. “Pańcime, bhikkhave, paccay± saŖgh±µiy± nikkhep±ya. Gil±no v± hoti, vassikasaŖketa½ v± hoti, nad²p±ragata½ v± hoti, agga¼aguttivih±ro v± hoti, atthatakathina½ v± hoti. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pańca paccay± saŖgh±µiy± nikkhep±y±”ti (mah±va. 362)– vacanato pana gahetv± gantu½ asamattho gil±no v± hoti, vassikasaŖket±d²su v± ańńatara½ k±raŗa½, evar³pesu paccayesu saŖgh±µi½ agga¼aguttivih±re µhapetv± santaruttarena gantu½ vaµµati. 63. “Na, bhikkhave, samb±dhassa s±mant± dvaŖgul± satthakamma½ v± vatthikamma½ v± k±r±petabba½, yo k±r±peyya, ±patti thullaccayass±”ti (mah±va. 279) vacanato yath±paricchinne ok±se (mah±va. aµµha. 279) yena kenaci satthena v± s³ciy± v± kaŗµakena v± sattik±ya v± p±s±ŗasakkhalik±ya v± nakhena v± chindana½ v± ph±lana½ v± vijjhana½ v± lekhana½ v± na k±tabba½, sabbańheta½ satthakammameva hoti. Yena kenaci pana cammena v± vatthena v± vatthip²¼anampi na k±tabba½, sabbańheta½ vatthikammameva hoti. Ettha ca “samb±dhassa s±mant± dvaŖgul±”ti ida½ satthakamma½yeva sandh±ya vutta½, vatthikamma½ pana samb±dheyeva paµikkhitta½. Tattha pana kh±ra½ v± d±tu½ yena kenaci rajjukena v± bandhitu½ vaµµati, yadi tena chijjati, succhinna½. Aŗ¹avu¹¹hirogepi satthakamma½ na vaµµati, tasm± “aŗ¹a½ ph±letv± b²j±ni uddharitv± aroga½ kariss±m²”ti na k±tabba½, aggit±panabhesajjalepanesu pana paµikkhepo natthi. Vaccamagge bhesajjamakkhit± ±d±navaµµi v± ve¼un±¼ik± v± vaµµati, y±ya kh±rakamma½ v± karonti, tela½ v± pavesenti.
