Sace pana “bhante, tumh±ka½ ida½ s±ruppan”tisayameva deti, gahetu½ vaµµati. Atha pana “±vuso, maya½ tuyha½ ‘vattapaµivatta½ karissati,amh±ka½ santike upajjha½ gaºhissati, dhamma½ pariy±puºissat²’ti c²vara½ adamh±, sod±ni tva½ na vatta½ karosi, na upajjha½ gaºh±si, na dhamma½ pariy±puº±s²”ti evam±d²nivutto “bhante, c²varatth±ya maññe bhaºatha, ida½ vo c²varan”ti deti, evampi vaµµati.Dis±pakkamanta½ v± pana dahara½ “nivattetha nan”ti bhaºati, so na nivattati, c²vare gahetv±nirundhath±ti, evañce nivattati, s±dhu. “Anuj±n±mi bhikkhave, pañcahaªgehi samann±gatassa viss±sa½ gahetu½ sandiµµho ca hoti,sambhatto ca, ±lapito ca, j²vati ca, gahite ca attamano hot²”ti (mah±va. 356).
