Atthatakathin±na½ pañca m±s±, itaresa½ kattikam±soti aya½ c²varad±nasamayo. Yad± yo c²vare kariyam±ne kiñcideva c²vare kattabba½ kamma½ karoti, aya½ c²varak±rasamayo. Yad± addhayojanampi gantuk±mo v± hoti gacchati v± gato v±, aya½ addh±nagamanasamayo. N±v±bhiruhanasamayepi eseva nayo. Yad± gocarag±me catt±ro bhikkh³ piº¹±ya caritv± na y±penti, aya½ mah±samayo. Yad± yokoci pabbajito bhattena nimanteti, aya½ samaºabhattasamayo, etesu samayesu bhuñjitu½ vaµµati.
R±jagahe devadatta½ ±rabbha viññ±petv± bhuñjanavatthusmi½ paññatta½, “aññatra samay±”ti ayamettha sattavidh± anupaññatti, s±dh±raºapaññatti, an±ºattika½, tikap±cittiya½, nagaºabhojane gaºabhojanasaññissa vematikassa v± dukkaµa½. Nagaºabhojanasaññissa pana, ye ca dve tayo ekato gaºhanti, bah³na½ piº¹±ya caritv± ekato bhuñjant±na½, niccabhattik±d²su, pañca bhojan±ni µhapetv± sabbattha, ummattak±d²nañca an±patti. Gaºabhojanat±, samay±bh±vo, ajjhoharaºanti im±nettha t²ºi aªg±ni. Samuµµh±n±d²ni e¼akalomasadis±nev±ti.
