328. Aµµhakesu aµµh±nisa½se sampassam±nen±ti–
“Idha pana, bhikkhave, bhikkhu ±patti½ ±panno hoti, so tass± ±pattiy± an±pattidiµµhihoti, ańńe bhikkh³ tass± ±pattiy± ±pattidiµµhino honti, te ce, bhikkhave, bhikkh³ta½ bhikkhu½ eva½ j±nanti ‘aya½ kho ±yasm± bahussuto ±gat±gamo dhammadharo vinayadharom±tik±dharo paŗ¹ito byatto medh±v² lajj² kukkuccako sikkh±k±mo, sace maya½ima½ bhikkhu½ ±pattiy± adassane ukkhipiss±ma, na maya½ imin± bhikkhun± saddhi½ uposatha½kariss±ma, vin± imin± bhikkhun± uposatha½ kariss±ma, bhavissati saŖghassa tatonid±na½ bhaŗ¹ana½kalaho viggaho viv±do saŖghabhedo saŖghar±ji saŖghavavatth±na½ saŖghan±n±karaŗan’ti, bhedagarukehi,bhikkhave, bhikkh³hi na so bhikkhu ±pattiy± adassane ukkhipitabbo”ti (mah±va. 453)–

¾din± vutta-aµµh±nisa½se sampassam±nena. Tena hi saddhi½ uposath±di-akaraŗa½ ±d²navobhed±ya sa½vattanato, karaŗa½ ±nisa½so s±maggiy± sa½vattanato. Tasm± eteaµµh±nisa½se sampassam±nena na so bhikkhu ukkhipitabboti attho.

Dutiya-aµµhakepi aµµh±nisa½se sampassam±nen±ti–
“Idha pana, bhikkhave, bhikkhu ±patti½ ±panno hoti, so tass± ±pattiy± an±pattidiµµhihoti, ańńe bhikkh³ tass± ±pattiy± ±pattidiµµhino honti, so ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhute bhikkh³ eva½ j±n±ti ‘ime kho ±yasmanto bahussut± ±gat±gam± dhammadhar± vinayadhar±m±tik±dhar± paŗ¹it± byatt± medh±vino lajjino kukkuccak± sikkh±k±m±, n±la½mama½ v± k±raŗ± ańńesa½ v± k±raŗ± chand± dos± moh± bhay± agati½ gantu½, sace ma½ime bhikkh³ ±pattiy± adassane ukkhipissanti, na may± saddhi½ uposatha½ karissanti, vin±may± uposatha½ karissanti, bhavissati saŖghassa tatonid±na½ bhaŗ¹ana½ kalaho viggaho viv±dosaŖghabhedo saŖghar±ji saŖghavavatth±na½ saŖghan±n±karaŗan’ti, bhedagarukena, bhikkhave, bhikkhun±paresampi saddh±ya s± ±patti desetabb±”ti (mah±va. 453)–

P±¼iya½ ±gatehi sattah²ti “pubbevassa hoti ‘mus± bhaŗissan’ti, bhaŗantassa hoti‘mus± bhaŗ±m²’ti, bhaŗitassa hoti ‘mus± may± bhaŗitan’ti vinidh±ya diµµhi½, vinidh±yakhanti½, vinidh±ya ruci½, vinidh±ya bh±van”ti (p±r±. 220) evam±gatehi sattahi.
Abrahmacariy±ti aseµµhacariyato. Ratti½ na bhuńjeyya vik±labhojananti uposatha½upavuttho rattibhojanańca div±vik±labhojanańca na bhuńjeyya. Mańce cham±ya½va sayetha santhatetikappiyamańce v± sudh±diparikammakat±ya bh³miya½ v± tiŗapaŗŗapal±l±d²ni santharitv±kate santhate v± sayeth±ti attho. Etańhi aµµhaŖg²kam±huposathanti eta½ p±ŗ±tip±t±d²niasam±carantena upavuttha-uposatha½ aµµhahi aŖgehi samann±gatatt± “aµµhaŖgikan”ti vadanti.
“Akappiyakata½ hoti appaµiggahitakan”ti-±dayo aµµha anatiritt±n±ma. Sappi±di aµµhame aruŗuggamane nissaggiya½ hoti. Aµµhakavasena yojetv± veditabb±n²tipurim±ni aµµha eka½ aµµhaka½, tato eka½ apanetv± sesesupi ekeka½ pakkhipitv±tievam±din± nayena ańń±nipi aµµhak±ni k±tabb±n²ti attho.
