306. Tena samayena buddho bhagav± s±vatthiya½ viharati jetavane an±thapiº¹ikassa ±r±me. Tena kho pana samayena ti½samatt± p±veyyak± [p±µheyyak± (s². sy±.)] bhikkh³, sabbe ±raññik± sabbe piº¹ap±tik± sabbe pa½suk³lik± sabbe tec²varik± s±vatthi½ ±gacchant± bhagavanta½ dassan±ya upakaµµh±ya vass³pan±yik±ya n±sakkhi½su s±vatthiya½ vass³pan±yika½ sambh±vetu½; antar±magge s±kete vassa½ upagacchi½su. Te ukkaºµhitar³p± vassa½ vasi½su– ±sanneva no bhagav± viharati ito chasu yojanesu, na ca maya½ labh±ma bhagavanta½ dassan±y±ti. Atha kho te bhikkh³ vassa½vuµµh±, tem±saccayena kat±ya pav±raº±ya, deve vassante, udakasaªgahe udakacikkhalle okapuººehi c²varehi kilantar³p± yena s±vatthi jetavana½ an±thapiº¹ikassa ±r±mo, yena bhagav± tenupasaªkami½su; upasaªkamitv± bhagavanta½ abhiv±detv± ekamanta½ nis²di½su. ¾ciººa½ kho paneta½ buddh±na½ bhagavant±na½ ±gantukehi bhikkh³hi saddhi½ paµisammoditu½. Atha kho bhagav± te bhikkh³ etadavoca– “kacci, bhikkhave, khaman²ya½, kacci y±pan²ya½, kacci samagg± sammodam±n± avivadam±n± ph±suka½ vassa½ vasittha, na ca piº¹akena kilamitth±”ti? “Khaman²ya½, bhagav±; y±pan²ya½, bhagav±; samagg± ca maya½, bhante, sammodam±n± avivadam±n± vassa½ vasimh±, na ca piº¹akena kilamimh± Idha maya½, bhante, ti½samatt± p±veyyak± bhikkh³ s±vatthi½ ±gacchant± bhagavanta½ dassan±ya upakaµµh±ya vass³pan±yik±ya n±sakkhimh± s±vatthiya½ vass³pan±yika½ sambh±vetu½, antar±magge s±kete vassa½ upagacchimh±. Atha kho bhagav± etasmi½ nid±ne etasmi½ pakaraºe dhammi½ katha½ katv± bhikkh³ ±mantesi– “anuj±n±mi, bhikkhave, vassa½vuµµh±na½ bhikkh³na½ kathina½ [kaµhina½ (s². sy±.)] attharitu½. Atthatakathin±na½ vo, bhikkhave, pañca kappissanti– an±mantac±ro, asam±d±nac±ro, gaºabhojana½, y±vadatthac²vara½, yo ca tattha c²varupp±do so nesa½ bhavissat²ti. 307. “Suº±tu me, bhante, saªgho. Ida½ saªghassa kathinadussa½ uppanna½. Yadi saªghassa pattakalla½, saªgho ima½ kathinadussa½ itthann±massa bhikkhuno dadeyya kathina½ attharitu½. Es± ñatti.
“Suº±tu me, bhante, saªgho. Ida½ saªghassa kathinadussa½ uppanna½. Saªgho ima½ kathinadussa½ itthann±massa bhikkhuno deti kathina½ attharitu½. Yass±yasmato khamati imassa kathinadussassa itthann±massa bhikkhuno d±na½ kathina½ attharitu½, so tuºhassa; yassa nakkhamati, so bh±seyya.
