Pucch±vissajjane pana “ya½ tena bhagavat± j±nat± passat± arahat± samm±sambuddhena paµhama½ p±r±jikan”ti ida½ kevala½ pucch±ya ±gatassa ±dipadassa paccuddharaºamattameva, “kattha paññattanti ves±liy± paññatta½; ka½ ±rabbh±ti sudinna½ kalandaputta½ ±rabbh±”ti evam±din± pana nayena punapi ettha ekeka½ pada½ pucchitv±va vissajjita½. Ek± paññatt²ti “yo pana bhikkhu methuna½ dhamma½ paµiseveyya p±r±jiko hoti asa½v±so”ti aya½ ek± paññatti. Dve anupaññattiyoti “antamaso tiracch±nagat±yap²”ti ca, “sikkha½ apaccakkh±y±”ti ca makkaµivajjiputtakavatth³na½ vasena vutt±– im± dve anupaññattiyo. Ett±vat± “atthi tattha paññatti anupaññatti anuppannapaññatt²”ti imiss± pucch±ya dve koµµh±s± vissajjit± honti. Tatiya½ vissajjetu½ pana “anuppannapaññatti tasmi½ natth²”ti vutta½. Ayañhi anuppannapaññatti n±ma anuppanne dose paññatt±; s± aµµhagarudhammavasena bhikkhun²na½yeva ±gat±, aññatra natthi. Tasm± vutta½ “anuppannapaññatti tasmi½ natth²”ti. Sabbatthapaññatt²ti majjhimadese ceva paccantimajanapadesu ca sabbatthapaññatti. Vinayadharapañcamena gaºena “upasampad±, guºaªguº³p±han±, dhuvanah±na½, cammattharaºan”ti im±ni hi catt±ri sikkh±pad±ni majjhimadeseyeva paññatti. Ettheva etehi ±patti hoti, na paccantimajanapadesu. Ses±ni sabb±neva sabbatthapaññatti n±ma.
S±dh±raºapaññatt²ti bhikkh³nañceva bhikkhun²nañca s±dh±raºapaññatti; suddhabhikkh³nameva hi suddhabhikkhun²na½ v± paññatta½ sikkh±pada½ as±dh±raºapaññatti n±ma hoti. Ida½ pana bhikkhu½ ±rabbha uppanne vatthusmi½ “y± pana bhikkhun² chandaso methuna½ dhamma½ paµiseveyya, antamaso tiracch±nagatenapi p±r±jik± hoti asa½v±s±”ti bhikkhun²nampi paññatta½, vin²takath±mattameva hi t±sa½ natthi, sikkh±pada½ pana atthi, tena vutta½ “s±dh±raºapaññatt²”ti. Ubhatopaññattiyampi eseva nayo. Byañjanamattameva hi ettha n±na½, bhikkh³na½ bhikkhun²nampi s±dh±raºatt± s±dh±raºapaññatti, ubhinnampi paññattatt± ubhatopaññatt²ti. Atthe pana bhedo natthi.
Nid±nogadhanti “yassa siy± ±patti so ±vikareyy±”ti ettha sabb±patt²na½ anupaviµµhatt± nid±nogadha½; nid±ne anupaviµµhanti attho. Dutiyena uddesen±ti nid±nogadha½ nid±napariy±pannampi sam±na½ “tatrime catt±ro p±r±jik± dhamm±”ti-±din± dutiyeneva uddesena uddesa½ ±gacchati. Catunna½ vipatt²nanti s²lavipatti-±d²na½. Paµham± hi dve ±pattikkhandh± s²lavipatti n±ma, avases± pañca ±c±ravipatti n±ma. Micch±diµµhi ca antagg±hikadiµµhi ca diµµhivipatti n±ma, ±j²vahetu paññatt±ni cha sikkh±pad±ni ±j²vavipatti n±ma. Iti im±sa½ catunna½ vipatt²na½ ida½ p±r±jika½ s²lavipatti n±ma hoti.
Ekena samuµµh±nen±ti dvaªgikena ekena samuµµh±nena. Ettha hi citta½ aªga½ hoti, k±yena pana ±patti½ ±pajjati. Tena vutta½ “k±yato ca cittato ca samuµµh±t²”ti. Dv²hi samathehi sammat²ti “±pannos²”ti sammukh± pucchiyam±no “±ma ±pannomh²”ti paµij±n±ti, t±vadeva bhaº¹anakalahaviggah± v³pasant± honti, sakk± ca hoti ta½ puggala½ apanetv± uposatho v± pav±raº± v± k±tu½. Iti sammukh±vinayena ca paµiññ±takaraºena c±ti dv²hi samathehi sammati, na ca tappaccay± koci upaddavo hoti. Ya½ pana upari paññattivagge “na katamena samathena sammat²”ti vutta½, ta½ samatha½ ot±retv± an±patti k±tu½ na sakk±ti imamattha½ sandh±ya vutta½.
Paññatti vinayoti “yo pana bhikkh³”ti-±din± nayena vuttam±tik± paññatti vinayoti attho. Vibhatt²ti padabh±jana½ vuccati; vibhatt²ti hi vibhaªgasseveta½ n±ma½. Asa½varoti v²tikkamo. Sa½varoti av²tikkamo. Yesa½ vattat²ti yesa½ vinayapiµakañca aµµhakath± ca sabb± paguº±ti attho. Te dh±rent²ti te eta½ paµhamap±r±jika½ p±¼ito ca atthato ca dh±renti; na hi sakk± sabba½ vinayapiµaka½ aj±nantena etassa attho j±nitunti. Ken±bhatanti ida½ paµhamap±r±jika½ p±¼ivasena ca atthavasena ca y±va ajjatanak±la½ kena ±n²tanti. Parampar±bhatanti parampar±ya ±n²ta½.
3. Id±ni y±ya parampar±ya ±n²ta½, ta½ dassetu½ “up±li d±sako cev±”ti-±din± nayena por±ºakehi mah±therehi g±th±yo µhapit± Tattha ya½ vattabba½, ta½ nid±navaººan±yameva vutta½. Imin± nayena dutiyap±r±jik±dipucch±vissajjanesupi vinicchayo veditabboti.
