Yasmiñhi pathavikhaºan±dike ±patt±dhikaraºe kusalacitta½ aªga½ hoti, tasmi½ sati na sakk± vattu½ “natthi ±patt±dhikaraºa½ kusalan”ti, tasm± nayida½ aªgappahonakacitta½ sandh±ya vutta½. Ida½ pana sandh±ya vutta½. Ya½ t±va ±patt±dhikaraºa½ lokavajja½, ta½ ekantato akusalameva, tattha “siy± akusalan”ti vikappo natthi. Ya½ pana paººattivajja½, ta½ yasm± sañcicca “ima½ ±patti½ v²tikkam±m²”ti v²tikkamantasseva akusala½ hoti, asañcicca pana kiñci aj±nantassa sahaseyy±divasena ±pajjato aby±kata½ hoti, tasm± tattha sañcicc±sañciccavasena ima½ vikappabh±va½ sandh±ya ida½ vutta½– “±patt±dhikaraºa½ siy± akusala½, siy± aby±kata½, natthi ±patt±dhikaraºa½ kusalan”ti.
Sace pana “ya½ kusalacitto ±pajjati, ida½ vuccati ±patt±dhikaraºa½ kusalan”ti vadeyya, acittak±na½ pana e¼akalomapadasodhamm±disamuµµh±n±nampi kusalacitta½ ±pajjeyya, na ca tattha vijjam±nampi kusalacitta½ ±pattiy± aªga½. K±yavac²viññattivasena pana calitappavatt±na½ k±yav±c±na½ aññatarameva aªga½, tañca r³pakkhandhapariy±pannatt± aby±katanti.
Ya½ j±nantoti-±dimhi pana ayamattho– ya½ citta½ ±pattiy± aªga½ hoti, tena vatthu½ j±nanto “ida½ v²tikkam±m²”ti ca v²tikkam±k±rena saddhi½ j±nanto sañj±nanto v²tikkamacetan±vasena cetetv± pakappetv± upakkamavasena maddanto abhivitaritv± nir±saªkacitta½ pesetv± ya½ ±patt±dhikaraºa½ v²tikkama½ ±pajjati, tassa eva½ v²tikkamato yo v²tikkamo, ida½ vuccati “±patt±dhikaraºa½ akusalan”ti.
