169. Bhagavat± pańńatta½ “na s±pattikena uposatho k±tabbo”ti ida½ “yassa siy± ±patt²”ti-±divacaneneva p±risuddhid±napańń±panena ca p±risuddhi-uposathapańń±panena ca pańńatta½ hot²ti veditabba½. Itthann±ma½ ±pattinti thullaccay±d²su ekiss± n±ma½ gahetv± “thullaccaya½ ±patti½ p±cittiya½ ±pattin”ti eva½ vattabba½. Ta½ paµidesem²ti ida½ “ta½ tumham³le, ta½ tuyham³le paµidesem²”ti vuttepi suvuttameva hoti. Passas²ti idańca “passasi ±vuso ta½ ±patti½, passatha bhante ta½ ±pattin”ti eva½ vattabba½. ¾ma pass±m²ti ida½ pana “±ma bhante pass±mi, ±ma ±vuso pass±m²”ti eva½ vuttampi suvuttameva hoti. ¾yati½ sa½vareyy±s²ti ettha pana sace vu¹¹hataro “±yati½ sa½vareyy±th±”ti vattabbo. Eva½ vuttena pana “s±dhu suµµhu sa½variss±m²”ti vattabbameva.
Yad± nibbematikoti ettha sace panesa nibbematiko na hoti, vatthu½ kittetv±va desetu½ vaµµat²ti andhakaµµhakath±ya½ vutta½. Tatr±ya½ desan±vidhi– sace meghacchanne s³riye “k±lo nu kho no”ti vematiko bhuńjati, tena bhikkhun± “aha½ bhante vematiko bhuńji½”, sace k±lo atthi, “sambahul± dukkaµ± ±pattiyo ±pannomhi, no ce atthi, “sambahul± p±cittiy± ±pannomh²”ti eva½ vatthu½ kittetv± “aha½ bhante y± tasmi½ vatthusmi½ sambahul± dukkaµ± v± p±cittiy± v± ±pattiyo ±panno, t± tumham³le paµidesem²”ti vattabba½. Esa nayo sabb±patt²su.
Na bhikkhave sabh±g± ±patt²ti ettha ya½ dvepi jan± vik±labhojan±din± sabh±gavatthun± ±patti½ ±pajjanti, evar³p± vatthusabh±g± “sabh±g±”ti vuccati. Vik±labhojanappaccay± ±panna½ pana anatirittabhojanapaccay± ±pannassa santike desetu½ vaµµati. Y±pi c±ya½ vatthusabh±g±, s±pi desit± sudesit±va. Ańńa½ pana desanapaccay± desako, paµiggahaŗappaccay± paµiggahako c±ti ubhopi dukkaµa½ ±pajjanti, ta½ n±n±vatthuka½ hoti, tasm± ańńamańńa½ desetu½ vaµµati.
170. S±manto bhikkhu evamassa vacan²yoti ettha sabh±goyeva vattabbo. Visabh±gassa hi vuccam±ne bhaŗ¹anakalahasaŖghabhed±d²nipi honti, tasm± tassa avatv± “ito vuµµhahitv± paµikariss±m²”ti ±bhoga½ katv± uposatho k±tabboti andhakaµµhakath±ya½ vutta½.
