143. Andhakavind±ti r±jagahato g±vutattaye andhakavinda½ n±ma, ta½ upaniss±ya thero vasati; tato r±jagaha½ uposatha½ ±gacchanto. R±jagahańhi parikkhipitv± aµµh±rasa mah±vih±r± sabbe ekas²m±, dhammasen±patin± nesa½ s²m± baddh±, tasm± ve¼uvane saŖghassa s±magg²d±nattha½ ±gacchantoti attho. Nadi½ tarantoti sippiniya½ n±ma nadi½ atikkamanto. Mana½ vu¼ho ahos²ti ²saka½ appattavu¼habh±vo ahosi. S± kira nad² gijjhak³µato otaritv± caŗ¹ena sotena vahati. Tattha vegena ±gacchanta½ udaka½ amanasikaronto thero mana½ vu¼ho ahosi, na pana vu¼ho, udakabbh±hat±nissa c²var±ni all±ni j±t±ni.
144. Sammat± s± s²m± saŖghena tic²varena avippav±s± µhapetv± g±mańca g±m³pac±rańc±ti imiss± kammav±c±ya uppannak±lato paµµh±ya bhikkh³na½ purimakammav±c± na vaµµati. Ayameva hi th±var± hoti. Bhikkhun²na½ pana aya½ na vaµµati, purim±yeva vaµµati. Kasm±? BhikkhunisaŖgho hi antog±me vasati. Yadi eva½ siy±, so et±ya kammav±c±ya tic²varaparih±ra½ na labheyya, atthi cassa parih±ro, tasm± purim±yeva vaµµati. BhikkhunisaŖghassa hi dvepi s²m±yo labbhanti. Tattha bhikkh³na½ s²ma½ ajjhottharitv±pi tass± antopi bhikkhun²na½ s²ma½ sammannitu½ vaµµati. Bhikkh³nampi bhikkhunis²m±ya eseva nayo. Na hi te ańńamańńassa kamme gaŗap³rak± honti, na kammav±ca½ vagga½ karonti. Ettha ca nigamanagar±nampi g±meneva saŖgaho veditabbo.
G±m³pac±roti parikkhittassa parikkhepo, aparikkhittassa parikkhepok±so. Tesu adhiµµhitatec²variko bhikkhu parih±ra½ na labhati. Iti bhikkh³na½ avippav±sas²m± g±mańca g±m³pac±rańca na ottharati, sam±nasa½v±sakas²m±va ottharati. Sam±nasa½v±sakas²m± cettha attano dhammat±ya gacchati. Avippav±sas²m± pana yattha sam±nasa½v±sakas²m±, tattheva gacchati. Na hi tass± visu½ nimittakittana½ atthi, tattha sace avippav±s±ya sammutik±le g±mo atthi, ta½ s± na ottharati. Sace pana sammat±ya s²m±ya pacch± g±mo nivisati, sopi s²m±saŖkhyameva gacchati. Yath± ca pacch± niviµµho, eva½ paµhama½ niviµµhassa pacch± va¹¹hitappadesopi s²m±saŖkhyameva gacchati. Sacepi s²m±sammutik±le geh±ni kat±ni, pavisiss±m±ti ±layopi atthi, manuss± pana appaviµµh±, por±ŗakag±ma½ v± sagehameva cha¹¹etv± ańńattha gat±, ag±moyeva esa, s²m± ottharati Sace pana ekampi kula½ paviµµha½ v± ±gata½ v± atthi, g±moyeva s²m± na ottharati.
Evańca pana bhikkhave tic²varena avippav±so sam³hantabboti ettha sam³hanantena bhikkhun± vatta½ j±nitabba½. Tatrida½ vatta½– khaŗ¹as²m±ya µhatv± avippav±sas²m± na sam³hantabb±, tath± avippav±sas²m±ya µhatv± khaŗ¹as²m±pi. Khaŗ¹as²m±ya½ pana µhitena khaŗ¹as²m±va sam³hanitabb±, tath± itar±ya µhitena itar±. S²ma½ n±ma dv²hi k±raŗehi sam³hananti pakatiy± khuddaka½ puna ±v±sava¹¹hanatth±ya mahati½ v± k±tu½; pakatiy± mahati½ puna ańńesa½ vih±rok±sad±natth±ya khuddaka½ v± k±tu½. Tattha sace khaŗ¹as²mańca avippav±sas²mańca j±nanti, sam³hanituńceva bandhituńca sakkhissanti. Khaŗ¹as²ma½ pana j±nant± avippav±sa½ aj±nant±pi sam³hanituńceva bandhituńca sakkhissanti. Khaŗ¹as²ma½ aj±nant± avippav±sa½yeva j±nant± cetiyaŖgaŗabodhiyaŖgaŗa-uposath±g±r±d²su nir±saŖkaµµh±nesu µhatv± appeva n±ma sam³hanitu½ sakkhissanti, paµibandhitu½ pana na sakkhissanteva. Sace bandheyyu½, s²m±sambheda½ katv± vih±ra½ avih±ra½ kareyyu½, tasm± na sam³hanitabb±. Ye pana ubhopi na j±nanti, teneva sam³hanitu½ na bandhitu½ sakkhissanti. Ayańhi s²m± n±ma kammav±c±ya v± as²m± hoti s±sanantaradh±nena v±, na ca sakk± s²ma½ aj±nantehi kammav±c± k±tu½, tasm± na sam³hanitabb±. S±dhuka½ pana ńatv±yeva sam³hanitabb± ca bandhitabb± c±ti.
