Makkhipa¼±sit±ti ettha paraguºamakkhanalakkhaºo makkho, so etassa atth²ti makkh². T±diso puggalo ag±riyo anag±riyo v± sam±no paresa½ sukatakaraºa½ vin±seti. Ag±riyopi hi kenaci anukampakena daliddo sam±no uccaµµh±ne µhapito, aparena samayena “ki½ tay± mayha½ katan”ti tassa sukatakaraºa½ vin±seti. “Bahussutepi puggale ajjhottharitv± ²disassa ceva bahussutassa aniyat± gati, tava v± mama v± ko viseso”ti-±din± nayena uppajjam±no yugagg±halakkhaºo pa¼±so. So paraguºehi attano guº±na½ samakaraºaraso. Tath± hesa paresa½ guºe ¹a½sitv± viya attano guºehi same karot²ti pa¼±soti vuccati, so etassa atth²ti pa¼±s². Makkh² ca pa¼±s² ca makkhipa¼±sino, tesa½ bh±vo makkhipa¼±sit±. Atthato pana makkho ceva pa¼±so ca.
Issati parasampatti½ na sahat²ti issuk². Macchar±yati attano sampatti½ nig³hati, paresa½ s±dh±raºabh±va½ na sahati, macchera½ v± etassa atth²ti macchar². Saµhayati na samm± bh±sat²ti saµho, attano avijjam±naguºappak±sanalakkhaºena s±µheyyena samann±gato ker±µikapuggalo. Ker±µiko ca ±nandamaccho viya hoti. ¾nandamaccho n±ma kira macch±na½ naªguµµha½ dasseti, sapp±na½ s²sa½ “tumhehi sadiso ahan”ti j±n±petu½, evameva ker±µiko puggalo ya½ ya½ suttantika½ v± ±bhidhammika½ v± upasaªkamati, ta½ ta½ eva½ vadati “aha½ tumh±ka½ antev±s², tumhe mayha½ anukampak±, n±ha½ tumhe muñc±m²”ti “evamete ‘sag±ravo aya½ amhesu sappatisso’ti maññissant²”ti. S±µheyyena hi samann±gatassa puggalassa asantaguºasambh±vanena citt±nur³pakiriy±viharato “eva½citto eva½kiriyo”ti duviññeyyatt± kucchi½ v± piµµhi½ v± j±nitu½ na sakk±. Yato so–
“V±mena s³karo hoti, dakkhiºena aj±migo;

Yena samann±gato puggalo gilitanaªgalasadiso viya ajagaro, v±tabharitabhast± viya ca thaddho hutv± garuµµh±niye disv± onamitumpi na icchati, pariyanteneva carati. Abbhunnatilakkhaºo atim±no, so etassa atth²ti atim±n².
Sa½ attano diµµhi½ par±masati sabh±va½ atikkamitv± parato ±masat²ti sandiµµhipar±m±s². ¾dh±na½ gaºh±t²ti ±dh±nagg±h². “¾dh±nan”ti da¼ha½ vuccati, da¼hagg±h²ti attho. Yath± hi kacchapo attano p±d±dike aªge kenaci ghaµµite sabb±ni aªg±ni attano kap±leyeva samodahati, na bahi n²harati, evamayampi “na sundaro tava g±ho, cha¹¹ehi nan”ti vutto ta½ na vissajjeti, antoyeva attano hadaye eva µhapetv± vicarati. Yath± kumbh²l± gahita½ na paµinissajjanti, eva½ kumbh²lagg±ha½ gaºh±ti, na vissajjeti. Makkhipa¼±sit±diyuga¼attayena dassite makkhapa¼±s±dayo cha dhamme visu½ visu½ gahetv± “ek³nav²sati dhamm±”ti vutta½. Anum±nasuttaµµhakath±ya½ (ma. ni. aµµha. 1.181) pana makkhapa¼±s±dayopi yuga¼avasena eka½ katv± “so¼asa dhamm±”ti vutta½.
Pak±rehi ±vahana½ padakkhiºa½, tato padakkhiºato gahaºas²lo padakkhiºagg±h², na padakkhiºagg±h² appadakkhiºagg±h². Yo vuccam±no “tumhe ma½ kasm± vadatha, aha½ attano kappiy±kappiya½ s±vajj±navajja½ atth±nattha½ j±n±m²”ti vadati, aya½ anus±sani½ padakkhiºato na gaºh±ti, v±matova gaºh±ti, tasm± “appadakkhiºagg±h²”ti vuccati, ten±ha “yath±nusiµµhan”ti-±di.
Uddeseti p±timokkhuddese. Atha sabb±neva sikkh±pad±ni katha½ p±timokkhuddesapariy±pann±n²ti ±ha “yassa siy± ±patti, so ±vikareyy±ti eva½ saªgahitatt±”ti. “Yassa siy± ±patt²”ti hi imin± sabb±pi ±pattiyo nid±nuddese saªgahit±yeva honti. Pañcahi sahadhammikehi sikkhitabbatt±ti labbham±navasena vutta½. Sahadhammikena sahak±raºen±tipi attho daµµhabbo. “Vacan±y±”ti nissakke sampad±navacananti ±ha “tato mama vacanato”ti. Aªg±ni cettha paµhamasaªghabhedasadis±ni. Aya½ pana viseso– yath± tattha bhed±ya parakkamana½, eva½ idha avacan²yakaraºat± daµµhabb±.
