R±g±d²hi panesa suññatatt± suññato. R³panimitt±d²na½ r±ganimitt±d²na½yeva v± abh±vena animitto. R±g±dipaºidhi-±d²na½ abh±vato appaºihitoti idamassa saguºato n±ma½. Sv±ya½ suññata½ animitta½ appaºihitañca nibb±na½ ±rammaºa½ karot²ti suññato animitto appaºihitoti vuccati, idamassa ±rammaºato n±ma½. ¾gamana½ pana duvidha½ vipassan±gamana½ magg±gamanañca. Tattha magge vipassan±gamana½ labbhati, phale magg±gamana½. Anatt±nupassan± hi suññat± n±ma, suññatavipassan±ya maggo suññato. Anicc±nupassan± animitt± n±ma, animittavipassan±ya maggo animitto. Ida½ pana n±ma½ na abhidhammapariy±yena labbhati. Tath± hi ta½ saªkh±ranimittassa avijahanato na nippariy±yena animitta½, suttantapariy±yena pana labbhati. Tatra hi gotrabhuñ±ºa½ animitta½ nibb±na½ ±rammaºa½ katv± animittan±maka½ hutv± saya½ ±gamaniyaµµh±ne µhatv± maggassa n±ma½ det²ti vadanti, tena maggo animittoti vutto. Magg±gamanena pana phala½ animittanti yujjatiyeva. Dukkh±nupassan± saªkh±resu paºidhi½ sukkh±petv± ±gatatt± appaºihit± n±ma, appaºihitavipassan±ya maggo appaºihito, appaºihitamaggassa phala½ appaºihita½. Eva½ vipassan± attano n±ma½ maggassa deti, maggo phalass±ti ida½ ±gamanato n±ma½. Suññatt±ti vivittatt±. Na hi magge r±g±dayo santi, upar³pari uppajjanakar±g±d²na½ k±raºatt± r±g±dayo nimittanti ±ha “r±gadosamohanimitteh²”ti. Saviggah±na½ viya upaµµh±nampettha nimittanti vadanti. R±g±dayova pavattiµµh±naµµhena paºidh²ti ±ha “r±gadosamohapaºidh²nan”ti.
Vatthuvijj±di½ sandh±ya avacanato “vijj±na½ l±bh²mh²”ti vuttepi hoti. Ekekakoµµh±savasen±ti satipaµµh±nacatukk±di-ekekakoµµh±savasena. Kiñc±pi mah±-aµµhakath±yampi ekekakoµµh±savaseneva dassita½, tattha pana “lokuttar±na½ satipaµµh±n±nan”ti-±din± pacceka½ lokuttara-sadda½ yojetv± ekekakoµµh±savaseneva vutta½, idha lokuttara-saddena vin±ti ayamettha viseso. Nanu ca “kilesappah±namev±”ti kasm± vutta½. Na hi kiles±na½ pah±namatta½ uttarimanussadhammo hot²ti yo vadeyya, ta½ sandh±ya kilesappah±nassa maggakiccatt± kiccavasena maggo d²pitoti dassetu½ “ta½ pan±”ti-±di vutta½. K±mar±ga½ sandh±ya “tatiyamaggena hi r±gados±na½ pah±nan”ti vutta½, na pana r³par±ga-ar³par±ge sandh±ya. Na hi te tena pah²yanti catutthamaggena pah±tabbatt±.
R±g± citta½ vin²varaºat±ti r±g± cittassa vin²varaºat±ti vutta½ hoti. R±g± vimuttassa cittassa tasseva r±gan²varaºassa abh±vena vigatan²varaºatt± vin²varaºat±ti attho veditabbo. Esa nayo sesesupi.
