Upac±re aªg±ni na th±maj±t±ni honti aªg±na½ ath±maj±tatt±. Yath± n±ma daharo kum±rakoukkhipitv± µhapiyam±no punappuna½ bh³miya½ patati, evameva upac±re uppanne citta½k±lena nimitta½ ±rammaºa½ karoti, k±lena bhavaªga½ otarati. Tena vutta½ “upac±rasam±dhikusalav²thiya½ javitv± bhavaªga½ otarat²”ti. Appan±ya½ pana aªg±ni th±maj±t±nihonti tesa½ th±maj±tatt±. Yath± n±ma balav± puriso ±san± vuµµh±yadivasampi tiµµheyya, evameva appan±sam±dhimhi uppanne citta½ saki½ bhavaªgav±ra½ chinditv±kevalampi ratti½ kevalampi divasa½ tiµµhati, kusalajavanapaµip±µivaseneva pavattati.Ten±ha– “appan±sam±dhi…pe… na bhavaªga½ otarat²”ti. Gocarag±mo pana yo sen±sanato uttarena v± dakkhiºena v± n±tid³re diya¹¹hakosabbhantarehoti sulabhasampannabhikkho, so sapp±yo, vipar²to asapp±yo.
Bhassanti dvatti½satiracch±nakath±pariy±panna½ asapp±ya½. Tañhissa nimittantaradh±n±yasa½vattati. Dasakath±vatthunissita½ sapp±ya½, tampimatt±ya bh±sitabba½.
Puggalopi atiracch±nakathiko s²l±diguºasampanno, ya½ niss±ya asam±hita½ v± citta½sam±dhiyati, sam±hita½ v± citta½ thiratara½ hoti, evar³po sapp±yo. K±yada¼h²bahulopana tiracch±nakathiko asapp±yo. So hi ta½ kaddamodakamiva accha½ udaka½ mal²namevakaroti, t±disañca ±gamma koµapabbatav±s²daharasseva sam±patti vinassati, pageva nimitta½.
