582. Tena samayena buddho bhagav± r±jagahe viharati ve¼uvane kalandakaniv±pe. Tena kho pana samayena ±yasm± upanando sakyaputto aññatarassa kulassa kul³pako hoti niccabhattiko. Ya½ tasmi½ kule uppajjati kh±dan²ya½ v± bhojan²ya½ v± tato ±yasmato upanandassa sakyaputtassa paµiviso µhapiyyati. Tena kho pana samayena s±ya½ tasmi½ kule ma½sa½ uppanna½ hoti. Tato ±yasmato upanandassa sakyaputtassa paµiviso µhapito hoti. Tassa kulassa d±rako rattiy± pacc³sasamaya½ paccuµµh±ya rodati– “ma½sa½ me deth±”ti. Atha kho so puriso paj±pati½ etadavoca– “ayyassa paµivisa½ d±rakassa dehi. Añña½ cet±petv± ayyassa dass±m±”ti.
Atha kho ±yasm± upanando sakyaputto pubbaºhasamaya½ niv±setv± pattac²vara½ ±d±ya yena ta½ kula½ tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± paññatte ±sane nis²di. Atha kho so puriso yen±yasm± upanando sakyaputto tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± ±yasmanta½ upananda½ sakyaputta½ abhiv±detv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho so puriso ±yasmanta½ upananda½ sakyaputta½ etadavoca– “hiyyo kho, bhante, s±ya½ ma½sa½ uppanna½ ahosi. Tato ayyassa paµiviso µhapito. Aya½ bhante, d±rako rattiy± pacc³sasamaya½ paccuµµh±ya rodati– ‘ma½sa½ me deth±’ti. Ayyassa paµiviso d±rakassa dinno. Kah±paºena, bhante, ki½ ±hariyyat³”ti? “Pariccatto me, ±vuso, kah±paºo”ti? “¾ma, bhante, pariccatto”ti. “Taññeva me, ±vuso, kah±paºa½ deh²”ti.
Atha kho so puriso ±yasmato upanandassa sakyaputtassa kah±paºa½ datv± ujjh±yati khiyyati vip±ceti– “tatheva maya½ r³piya½ paµiggaºh±ma evamevime samaº± sakyaputtiy± r³piya½ paµiggaºhant²”ti. Assosu½ kho bhikkh³ tassa purisassa ujjh±yantassa khiyyantassa vip±centassa. Ye te bhikkh³ appicch±…pe… te ujjh±yanti khiyyanti vip±centi– “kathañhi n±ma ±yasm± upanando sakyaputto r³piya½ paµiggahessat²”ti! Atha kho te bhikkh³ ±yasmanta½ upananda½ sakyaputta½ anekapariy±yena vigarahitv± bhagavato etamattha½ ±rocesu½…pe… “sacca½ kira tva½, upananda, r³piya½ paµiggahes²”ti [paµiggaºh±s²ti (sy±.)]? “Sacca½, bhagav±”ti. Vigarahi buddho bhagav±…pe… kathañhi n±ma tva½, moghapurisa, r³piya½ paµiggahessasi! Neta½, moghapurisa, appasann±na½ v± pas±d±ya…pe… evañca pana, bhikkhave, ima½ sikkh±pada½ uddiseyy±tha–

584. Yo pan±ti yo y±diso…pe… bhikkh³ti…pe… aya½ imasmi½ atthe adhippeto bhikkh³ti.
J±tar³pa½ n±ma satthuvaººo vuccati
Rajata½ n±ma kah±paºo loham±sako d±rum±sako jatum±sako ye voh±ra½ gacchanti.
Uggaºheyy±ti saya½ gaºh±ti nissaggiya½ p±cittiya½ [nissaggiya½ hoti (sy±.)].
Uggaºh±peyy±ti añña½ g±h±peti nissaggiya½ p±cittiya½ [nissaggiya½ hoti (sy±.)].
Upanikkhitta½ v± s±diyeyy±ti ida½ ayyassa hot³ti upanikkhitta½ s±diyati, nissaggiya½ hoti. Saªghamajjhe nissajjitabba½. Evañca pana, bhikkhave, nissajjitabba½– tena bhikkhun± saªgha½ upasaªkamitv± eka½sa½ uttar±saªga½ karitv± vu¹¹h±na½ bhikkh³na½ p±de vanditv± ukkuµika½ nis²ditv± añjali½ paggahetv± evamassa vacan²yo– “aha½, bhante, r³piya½ paµiggahesi½. Ida½ me nissaggiya½. Im±ha½ saªghassa nissajj±m²”ti. Nissajjitv± ±patti desetabb±. Byattena bhikkhun± paµibalena ±patti paµiggahetabb±. Sace tattha ±gacchati ±r±miko v± up±sako v± so vattabbo– “±vuso, ima½ j±n±h²”ti. Sace so bhaºati– “imin± ki½ ±hariyyat³”ti, na vattabbo– “ima½ v± ima½ v± ±har±”ti. Kappiya½ ±cikkhitabba½– sappi v± tela½ v± madhu v± ph±ºita½ v±. Sace so tena parivattetv± kappiya½ ±harati r³piyappaµigg±haka½ µhapetv± sabbeheva paribhuñjitabba½. Evañceta½ labhetha, icceta½ kusala½; no ce labhetha, so vattabbo– “±vuso, ima½ cha¹¹eh²”ti. Sace so cha¹¹eti, icceta½ kusala½; no ce cha¹¹eti, pañcahaªgehi samann±gato bhikkhu r³piyacha¹¹ako sammannitabbo– yo na chand±gati½ gaccheyya, na dos±gati½ gaccheyya, na moh±gati½ gaccheyya, na bhay±gati½ gaccheyya, cha¹¹it±cha¹¹itañca j±neyya. Evañca pana, bhikkhave, sammannitabbo. Paµhama½ bhikkhu y±citabbo. Y±citv± byattena bhikkhun± paµibalena saªgho ñ±petabbo–
585. “Suº±tu me, bhante, saªgho. Yadi saªghassa pattakalla½, saªgho itthann±ma½ bhikkhu½ r³piyacha¹¹aka½ sammanneyya. Es± ñatti.
“Suº±tu me, bhante, saªgho. Saªgho itthann±ma½ bhikkhu½ r³piyacha¹¹aka½ sammannati. Yass±yasmato khamati itthann±massa bhikkhuno r³piyacha¹¹akassa sammuti, so tuºhassa; yassa nakkhamati, so bh±seyya.
“Sammato saªghena itthann±mo bhikkhu r³piyacha¹¹ako. Khamati saªghassa, tasm± tuºh², evameta½ dh±ray±m²”ti.
Tena sammatena bhikkhun± animitta½ katv± p±tetabba½. Sace nimitta½ katv± p±teti, ±patti dukkaµassa.
586. R³piye r³piyasaññ² r³piya½ paµiggaºh±ti, nissaggiya½ p±cittiya½. R³piye vematiko r³piya½ paµiggaºh±ti, nissaggiya½ p±cittiya½. R³piye ar³piyasaññ² r³piya½ paµiggaºh±ti, nissaggiya½ p±cittiya½.
Ar³piye r³piyasaññ², ±patti dukkaµassa. Ar³piye vematiko, ±patti dukkaµassa. Ar³piye ar³piyasaññ², an±patti.
An±patti ajjh±r±me v± ajjh±vasathe v± uggahetv± v± uggah±petv± v± nikkhipati– yassa bhavissati so harissat²ti, ummattakassa, ±dikammikass±ti.
