Atthas±dhako n±ma “asuka½ n±ma bhaº¹a½ yad± sakkosi, tad± avahar±”ti ±º±peti. Tattha sace paro anantar±yiko hutv± ta½ avaharati, ±º±pako ±ºattikkhaºeyeva p±r±jiko hoti, avah±rako pana avahaµak±le. Aya½ atthas±dhako. Dhuranikkhepo pana upanikkhittabhaº¹avasena veditabbo. Ida½ s±hatthikapañcaka½.

Katama½ theyy±vah±rapañcaka½? Aparepi pañca avah±r±– theyy±vah±ro, pasayh±vah±ro, parikapp±vah±ro paµicchann±vah±ro, kus±vah±roti. Te pañcapi “aññataro bhikkhu saªghassa c²vare bh±jiyam±ne theyyacitto kusa½ saªk±metv± c²vara½ aggahes²”ti (p±r±. 138) etasmi½ kusasaªk±manavatthusmi½ vaººayiss±ma. Ida½ theyy±vah±rapañcaka½. Imesu ca pana pañcasu pañcakesu kusalena vinayadharena otiººa½ vatthu½ sahas± avinicchinitv±va pañca µh±n±ni oloketabb±ni. Y±ni sandh±ya por±º± ±hu–
“Vatthu½ k±lañca desañca, aggha½ paribhogapañcama½;
tulayitv± pañca µh±n±ni, dh±reyyattha½ vicakkhaºo”ti.

Tena ca samayena c³¼asumanatthero n±ma sabbapariyattidharo vinay±cariyap±mokkho mah±vih±re paµivasati. So bhikkhu thera½ upasaªkamitv± vanditv± ok±sa½ k±retv± attano kukkucca½ pucchi. Thero tena bhaµµhe janak±ye pacch± ±gantv± gahitabh±va½ ñatv± “atthi d±ni ettha ok±so”ti cintetv± ±ha– “sace k±s±vas±mika½ bhikkhu½ ±neyy±si, sakk± bhaveyya tava patiµµh± k±tun”ti. “Kath±ha½, bhante, ta½ dakkhiss±m²”ti? “Tahi½ tahi½ gantv± olokeh²”ti. So pañcapi mah±vih±re oloketv± neva addakkhi. Tato na½ thero pucchi– “katar±ya dis±ya bah³ bhikkh³ ±gacchant²”ti? “Dakkhiºadis±ya, bhante”ti. “Tena hi k±s±va½ d²ghato ca tiriyañca minitv± µhapehi. Ýhapetv± dakkhiºadis±ya vih±rapaµip±µiy± vicinitv± ta½ bhikkhu½ ±neh²”ti. So tath± katv± ta½ bhikkhu½ disv± therassa santika½ ±nesi. Thero pucchi– “taveda½ k±s±van”ti? “¾ma, bhante”ti. “Kuhi½ te p±titan”ti? So sabba½ ±cikkhi. Thero pana tena kata½ dhuranikkhepa½ sutv± itara½ pucchi– “tay± ida½ kuhi½ disv± gahitan”ti? Sopi sabba½ ±rocesi. Tato na½ thero ±ha– “sace te suddhacittena gahita½ abhavissa, an±pattiyeva te assa. Theyyacittena pana gahitatt± dukkaµa½ ±pannosi. Ta½ desetv± an±pattiko hohi. So ta½ “neta½ tava santaka½, theyy±ya te gahitan”ti saªghamajjha½ ±ka¹¹hi. Tattha ca vinicchaya½ alabhitv± mah±vih±ra½ agami½su. Tattha bheri½ pahar±petv± mah±cetiyasam²pe sannip±ta½ katv± vinicchaya½ ±rabhi½su. Vinayadharatther± avah±ra½ saññ±pesu½.
Tasmiñca sannip±te ±bhidhammikagodattatthero n±ma vinayakusalo hoti. So evam±ha– “imin± ida½ th±laka½ kuhi½ avahaµan”ti? “Antarasamudde avahaµan”ti. “Tatrida½ ki½ agghat²”ti? “Na kiñci agghati. Tatra hi n±¼ikera½ bhinditv± miñja½ kh±ditv± kap±la½ cha¹¹enti, d±ru-attha½ pana pharat²”ti. “Imassa bhikkhuno ettha hatthakamma½ ki½ agghat²”ti? “M±saka½ v± ³nam±saka½ v±”ti. “Atthi pana katthaci samm±sambuddhena m±sakena v± ³nam±sakena v± p±r±jika½ paññattan”ti.
